The cheese, pears and balsamic glaze all joined together to make a fabulous dish! My husband had the Pepperoni Pizza and he said it was great. Btw, they make their own dough for the pizza and it is perfect. Our friend had the Shrimp Scampi and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is clean and offers comfortable and spacious seating and pleasant decor. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. We will be back and we hope you will go, as well. They have 2 additional spaces for groups and special occasions and they have a step down lounge adjacent to the bar with tvs going - perfect for watching the game! Please go! You won't be disappointed!

We also ordered a regular pepperoni pizza. The pizza was really cheesy, which I loved but I think it could have stood to be in the oven a couple more minutes because the center was a little too soggy. But the outer crust was nice and crisp. I ordered the tortellini bolognese. The pasta was cooked nicely but the sauce did not taste like traditional bolognese sauce. It tasted like regular meat sauce. That being said, I enjoyed the taste of the sauce but it was not worth the 20 dollar price, especially since it wasn't even bolognese. The service was nice. Our waitress was attentive and since we were the only ones there at the time, our food came out pretty quick! The space itself was clean and felt homey. Would have loved some Italian music but we enjoyed ourselves either way. All in all, this place was ok, not great but definitely better than some other Italian places I've been. With a few improvements, their food could be really great!

The pizza was delicious and the crust lived up to the hype as absolutely fantastic. But let's also talk culture and ambience. I learned this place has been open about four months. Let's face it, you can get pizza a million different ways in a million different places. So why here? What makes this place special in my mind is not just that the pizza is delicious but that it is a truly family run business that treats you like family when you're there. Brothers Alfredo and Victor were who I met. Also involved are a sister, a brother in law, mom behind the register, and Alfredo Sr. serving fresh popped popcorn. And what they created together was a fun, electric vibe that felt like a community. And they invited in seven food trucks that complement the park with a variety of other food types so there's something for everyone. In the end, I just love success stories and I want to help champion this family for having the vision, resilience, and drive to bring this community closer together with great food. Do yourself a favor and check it out for yourself.

The restaurant is very dark in places, but each table has lamps which made the vibe very cozy. Our server gave recommendations, and we ended up with the cheese ravioli appetizer, which was absolutely delicious!!! 3 generously sized fried ravioli, filled with cheese and spinach, which resembled a nice spinach artichoke dip. We were also given a loaf of ciabatta bread with garlic olive oil to dip in. The bread had a nice crust and was very soft on the inside. My wife had the Scallop toscana pasta, which had 5 perfectly cooked scallops with a fresh pesto sauce with spaghetti pasta. Her pasta was delicious, with a very fresh herb tasting pesto, and the pasta was perfectly cooked. I honestly enjoyed her dish more than I did mine! I had the house signature, Spaghetti and meatballs. It was a tomato sauce spaghetti with 2 almost baseball sized meatballs. The meatballs were moist and very hearty, and tasted amazing. The sauce on my spaghetti tasted very fresh. It was good and had great flavor, however I feel that it was slightly bland for my taste(to be fair I enjoy things on the saltier side). My only real dislike about the spaghetti is that the sauce seemed to be very watery, and did not cling to the pasta very well. I'd like a thicker sauce, but other than that I really enjoyed it. For dessert, I ordered a crème brûlée, which was absolutely delicious. The custard wasn't too sweet but had great flavor otherwise, and it had a thick, crunchy sugar topping. The dark spot on the topping may have been burnt just a bit, it wasn't bad, but I did not enjoy that as much as the rest. Overall very tasty. My wife ordered the Italian cheesecake, which looked absolutely stunning. A very large slice of a ricotta based cheesecake with a blackberry topping. It was smooth, rich, and absolutely delicious. Only issue with the cheesecake is that we couldn't finish it! Overall I would highly recommend The Meatball Cafe, and my wife and I may be returning for dinner tonight with my buddy and his fiancé. This place will be on my list for every SPI trip!!!! (Forgot to get a pic of the ravioli)
