Uyen added extensions and created a gorgeous bronde color. Over the years we've tried different looks, from very blonde to closer to my natural dark blonde, and I loved it every time! What impressed me the most is how healthy my hair stayed the entire time. After wearing extensions for over two years, I took them out for a while and my natural hair actually looked about 30% thicker than before (The thickest it has ever been). I just got a new set of extensions again and absolutely love them. I went from short hair to almost waist length, and this time we did wavy extensions to match my natural texture. It came out beautifully - the color matches perfectly and it looks very natural, even when I let my hair air dry without styling. Uyen is incredibly attentive and works very meticulously. She really listens and takes the time to make everything blend perfectly. I completely trust her with my hair and highly recommend her, especially if you have fine hair and are considering extensions.

She left the wefts not glued bf she put them in. Therefore tattered and damaged ends on the weft. When I told her she asked what happened. I'm not a hair dresser and trying to find someone on a Sunday to fix my mess was what I had to do because of work. I have known her for over ten years and because I couldn't get back to her ASAP she canceled all my future appointments with no phone call but through text which is extremely disrespectful. Also I referred several people and she charged me $150 more than the people I referred. I always tip 20%. I'm so glad this happened because when she was told not to worry about it I found someone to fix my hair. She asked if I wanted to come in on Tuesday when she's known for 12 years I work 12 hour days. I had no expectations of her coming in but she offered to take then out but would not put them back in. That would've been a nightmare. This has happened a couple times now. She over charges and her work has gone so down hill. I just didn't want to deal with my work and finding someone new. I should've left when she just out of no where started upping her prices only on me. I work extremely hard and she upped her prices and lowered her standards knowing I'd pay it. Don't come here!

I have had my hair done by Luz about 3 times and my teenage daughter once. Love the color/highlights she gave me, so natural. I had jet black hair until I started getting grays. The color/highlights she created for me was so much better than doing hair coloring from a box. My "little sister" (family friends, pretty much family) made my first appointment and I don't plan on going anywhere else. Just had an appointment to get my hair colored and cut on Aug. 25, 2016 at her new place on Front Street. It had been about 5 months. My hair color still looked natural, but with all the things going on in life, my grays started to show again. As always, she makes my hair look gorgeous. Each time someone sees me with my new cut and color, I receive compliments of looking younger and with a haircut, you get that fresh look. She is great at what she does, even with 3 appointments, I'm impressed with her expertise. She is so sweet too. Met her assistant Rachel, she is super nice and works great with Luz. She keeps everything neat at the new place and I was told she is a hairstylist as well. Give Luz a try... read more

I began dying my hair at the age of 15, and Viri was there to make sure my then virgin hair, was not about to get ruined, but instead look natural and healthy. I'm 23, and have not changed my stylist since! Viri, is passionate about her work, and makes sure that I leave the salon with a smile and feeling Confident, which is most important. I enjoy going in as often as I can, because she's such a lovely soul, who not only leaves my hair looking Flawless, but she listens to me and makes sure I feel comfortable. She listens to what I want and makes sure I leave the salon with exactly that and nothing less! I recommend everyone go check her out! She has taken me from red, to dark brown, and now light blonde, and through the whole process she has managed to make my hair look healthy an alive. Thank you Viri, for making my hair dreams come true, and for making me the hair envy around town. You would all be surprised at how many compliments I get about my hair a day, it's ridiculous but it's all thanks to Viri! Make sure you stop by and let her work her magic on your hair, you won't regret it! read more

I have been going to Viri for about 12 years now and must say that Viri and Luz, whom I've known and followed from Carlton Salon in Fashion Valley, and have now opened a chic Salon, Capelli on Front in San Diego, has got to be THE best colorist in Town and certainly the best colorist I've ever been to! And boy do I travel... Viri gives a thorough consultation, takes a real detailed and somewhat scientific interest in your hair, and I have never seen a stylist pay such close attention to the timing of the color! She stays right on top of the process, no distractions, no wondering where Viri went! I had been trying to avoid a golden-toned, or copper brassy blonde, and no "blonde specialist" stylists could ever seem to get me where I wanted,(I go from dark brown to reds to whatever comes in between while I travel for extended periods of time) But with patience and precision, Viri gets it right each and every time! Thank you Ladies and CONGRATS on your beautiful Salon!!! read more

Luz is FANTASTIC! I have been living in San Diego for about 3 years and Luz has been my go to stylist.
