After eating breakfast with my husband, he mentioned that he needed a haircut. We were going to a nice dinner with family that evening. To be quite honest, I don't think my husband has set foot in a barber shop since the week of our wedding in 2007! He usually gets his hair cut by his friend at work. Either that or he shaves his head bald. We tried going to a barber shop on Foothill Blvd but it was closed. So we were on our way to the closest Supercuts when we stumbled upon Carpelli's. They are across the street from the IHOP on Archibald and next to a Mexican restaurant. The take credit card payments (Visa, MasterCard), but don't take American Express. They also allow walk-in appointments. My husband got a chair right away. The guy who cut his hair said he only started there about 3 months ago, but this barber shop has been around for 25 years. As I sat waiting for him, I noticed that more men started coming in and they seemed like regulars. They are all very friendly with each other and talk. Haha.. so funny to see guys "talking" while getting their hair cut. Just like being in a hair salon.... He did a razor fade for him and left his hair on top. He told him to grow his hair out on top and to come back in a couple months so he can finish the look off for him. Including tip, he spent about $20 for his cut. He said he'll come back in a few months. So as his wife, I think the cut looks nice but a bit short on the sides. However, I see where he's going with the look so I'm actually looking forward to see how it comes out in the next few weeks when his hair grows longer. 27/100 Reviews for 2015

Asked for a LOW FADE

Very Bad experience here. This is the second time I gave this barbershop a try. I came in today and asked for a "low fade". I even made multiple gestures with my hands explaining how low of a fade I wanted.... and I received the highest fade I have ever seen. I am one step away of cutting my hair completely off. I've been growing the top of my hair out for over a year, to obtain a certain look. This will now interfere with work because I cannot look presentable, and may have to Cover up with a hat until my hair grows back again in a few months.

His half shaved/ half comb over head. Thank God for pomade!

I want to start by saying that the two guys with tattoos do a great job. I've brought my son here many times, and they have always given him a good cut. The others... not so much. My son has had a couple of bad cuts from their other barbers, but this one takes the cake. We asked for a comb over with a high fade, and they shaved him all the way up the back of his head almost to his ears. The front half of his head is a comb over, and the back half is a buzz cut. If the two guys that do a good job weren't always so busy, it may be a good spot, but since you can't trust the others, we won't be back.

Definitely a good blend and quality work. You definitely get what you pay for.

My 8 year old received a haircut by The guy in the 2nd chair. That guy did a great job! I went back to take my 4 year old. I wish I knew the guys name that cut my sons hair (this time 3rd chair). He mentioned he was a father and that explains why he was so patient with my 4 year old. I must say this is the BEST haircut my son has ever gotten. I will be posting a picture of my sons hair. I love that my son still looks like a little boy. He asked a lot of questions about what kind of cut he wanted and I totally appreciate it because it was exactly what I wanted. I will be going back. Talented barbers and super clean shop. Overall both haircuts were great and this mom definitely left happy.

Quality cuts . Great treatment. Open on Sundays . Take walk-ins .My son and I have been coming here for a while now . Highly recommend.

Marielena does great razor cuts. She's super friendly. They have a nice shop with a nice atmosphere. Reasonable prices and kid friendly.

This afternoon, I received a call from Linda, who said she was the assistant to Fabiola (the Elite stylist). She told me I needed to move my appointment to 4pm or reschedule because they were "busy with a hair color." She also mentioned that they usually adjust the schedule days in advance, but claimed their booking system didn't show the appointments until today. That explanation didn't make sense, especially since I booked days ahead. When I asked why I wasn't notified earlier--if they supposedly review schedules in advance--she didn't have an answer. Being contacted last‑minute to move an appointment by less than an hour felt like my time wasn't valued. I expected more professionalism from an Ulta salon, especially when booking with an Elite stylist. This experience left me disappointed and hesitant to book here again.

Then I go sit and let the dye sit and there was dye all over all my earrings, face and ears. So I now have to go to work like that. I tried taking most off but a lot is dried. Overall, I wouldn't recommend to any texture hair girls. I know they promote they do texture hair but it's evident they don't. ALL 4 people who touched my hair didn't know how to comb out my curly hair nor have the right tools or products for it. I wanted to get an ongoing service there for touch ups but no longer will be doing so. I paid almost 200$ to be unsatisfied and now to figure out how to get the dye off me.

Horrible experience this weekend…read more I had at the Lush store located at Victoria Gardens on January 25, 2026, at approximately 4:00 PM. There were at least 4-5 employees in the floor and I had to ask to see if there were items in The back where only a sample was displayed. Employees as a whole seemed disconnected and didn't offer samples or knowledge like I'm used to. I have spent a significant amount of money at Lush since the rewards program began. It was not made clear to me that points must not only be earned but also manually activated. As a result, I missed out on many rewards. Bri at the Ontario Mills location was the first employee to ever explain this to me. During my visit at Victoria Gardens, I interacted with a female employee who appeared to be a manager. She was not wearing a name tag, and the receipt lists the employee name as "null." When I realized my points were not applied and expressed my frustration, there was no attempt to offer alternatives, ask about my points, or help resolve the issue. I was visibly unhappy, yet there was no willingness to redo the transaction or provide a solution. I am sharing this feedback not out of anger, but because I care about the brand and want my loyalty to feel valued across all locations. I hope this can be addressed so future customers do not leave feeling the same way I did.
