We are approaching 2 years since Cape Fear Solar installed a system on our home, and I'm still very pleased with our system and our overall experience. When I contacted Cape Fear Solar for a quote, they sent a friendly and knowledgeable associate to our home who worked with us to design a system to meet our needs. They were helpful in answering our questions and did not pressure us into a sale. The process of planning, installing, and getting set up was very smooth, and someone from CFS was constantly in contact with us keeping us informed. They even went as far as to challenge Progress Energy when we were initially denied for their solar incentive. This resulted in us getting a $5,000 rebate from Progress to put towards our system. Over the years, I have referred several friends to Cape Fear Solar, and they have all reported similar and great experiences. Contacted Cape Fear Solar around August of 2023. Talked to Caleb. Caleb was very helpful and not pushy at all. He really took the time to dive deep into what we wanted. Did not try to push any certain product or brand. Built the system exactly as we wanted with his recommendations on how to get the most for our money. We were trying to meet a few deadlines between Duke Energy and Tesla. They met/beat our timelines on everything. Our install date was in October and their install team was fantastic. The lead technition was Jackson. I believe he may be the smartest person I have ever met. He and his team were fantastic in every way. Professional, punctional, and very detail oriented. The system was installed perfectly with no corners cut. There were numerous ways they could have cut corners to save time or money, but they always chose or asked what we wanted to either look the best or work the best. After installation, there was a few kinks in our system that were Tesla software related. Their team was always responsive and on top of the situation, making sure we were taken care of. I have even went by to meet the owner and he was awesome to talk to. I would not hesitate to recommend Cape Fear Solar to anyone in the market for Solar. We had an issue with our grid power breaker system interrupting our solar battery/solar power system- The cape fear team was amazing getting the situation diagnosed and then coordinating the repair.
