Yelp led me to the Snowy Owl, which a cute cafe in a converted auto service station. It's got some comfortable seating inside and out, and immediately gives off welcoming vibes. While we were looking for something to go, I got the feeling some folks sit here for hours. Something about the unique space had me craving a unique drink - not my usual black coffee. Their house made cherry cola espresso piqued my curiosity. It tasted just like it sounds - a double shot of slightly bitter espresso mixed with not-too-sweet carbonated cola. I would have like more cherry syrup sweetness, but it was an interesting choice that I was glad to experience. The friendly service, variety of drinks, and chill vibes are good reasons to return.

I was a bit disappointed when we got there and the nice girl at the register didn't know if they had any that were homemade. She did find out that they had banana and marshmallow syrups that were homemade. Latte was good, marshmallow syrup was pretty decent too. Not sure we'd go back as I don't love the syrups they use. If you like lattes and want a ton of selections though, this is the place for you.

There's even an osprey nest outside which was pretty neat.

The tea was delicious and comforting--exactly what I needed. I also got a lavender lemon scone, and it was so good--light, flavorful, and just the right amount of sweet. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to (hopefully next time for the coffee!). Great vibe, great people, and great quality all around.
