It has been a long and terrible 24 hours as I had to travel home to work on it. The guys raced out to my house to fix it and I now have water back. He guided us through some steps and confirmed we would be ok until the morning and he couldn't do a replacement that night. Raul the tech was at our house first thing. He was friendly, knowledgeable and very efficient. We were back up and running by noon so we did not have to miss our trip. Once we came back we had other questions/concerns and he did a follow up visit with us. Highly recommend!

We used Mike the Plumber for a variety of projects over the years, including most recently, the…read morerepair of an outdoor spigot. They always do excellent work. I like using this company alot. First, they always show up when they say they will. Second, their plumbers know what they're doing. Third, their guys have pointed out a couple of potential issues along the way which weren't part of the original scope of work, but nonetheless were pretty helpful to know as a homeowner. I know that pointing out issues is kind of like upselling, but it actually didn't come across as upselling because there wasn't any pressure to do the work. And that information you get is pretty helpful. The only downside to working with them is the price. They are by far the most expensive plumber I've worked with in the area. I kid you not, one time I got an estimate from them and as I reviewed their email in the middle of a Zoom call, I literally said out loud "holy fucking shit bro" not realizing my mic was on, which was a bit embarrassing. That said, I later agreed to the proposal because nobody else was available as fast. So yeah their availability and their quick response time is definitely important to me. I don't always use Mike's, sometimes they get undercut on price by a company that can come out quickly. But I know that when I do hire them, I will be in good hands, though with a lighter wallet. Four stars. Keep them in your contact list just in case!

Our disposal was locked, Adam arrived and was able to break it loose so we didn't need a new unit…read more He said that we should run the disposal every couple of days to keep it running smoothly. The leak we see from upstairs is probably a plumbing joint that has come loose or a crack in a pipe. Adam said that he would recommend cutting into the ceiling and checking out the piping. These guys did a great job on a recent plumbing project I had…read more I had them come by for an estimate the other day. At the last moment before the plumbers arrival, I had to rush out and pick up one of my kids because my wife was running late. Despite the change of plans, he persevered, kept in touch, assessed the situation and gave me a price without any hassle or drama, which I appreciated. Some companies are not able to give estimates without both homeowners there walking thru everything which is ridiculous. Anyway, he came back a few days later, showed up right on time for the job and got to work right away. There was minimal disruption and the guy worked very well independently. In the end the project was completed successfully and everything was done exactly as I wanted. Five star work! It's kind of cliche but it's a little hard to find a good plumber these days. I'm glad to have found these Star Line and will definitely be using them in the future.

During the…read moreinspection, we were informed that the newly installed unit requires a 30-amp circuit, however, it was installed on our existing 25-amp circuit, causing the inspection to fail. We are disappointed that a unit requiring a different electrical specification was installed without informing us that our existing circuit was incompatible or that additional electrical work would be required. At no point during the installation process that we would need to hire an electrician at an additional cost. When we contacted the company for clarification, the interaction with owner Abe was disappointing, as we found his communication to be dismissive and unprofessional. We were told that this issue was not their responsibility. We believe this should have been communicated prior to installation so we could make an informed decision and avoid unexpected expenses.
