Best chocolates ever!!! I absolutely love the chocolates and the great service they provide. They have a variety of chocolate baskets and boxes that are great for sending gifts to clients and friends. They handle the delivery and the final product is beautiful. I myself have been the recipient of a chocolate basket and it is truly a wonderful gift. The chocolates are also the perfect cheat day treat... Give them a shot for your next chocolate fix or if you need send a gift to a loved one. You won't regret it. read more

My friend raved about the chocolate croissants and since I am a fan of French pastries...I had to try it! It was de-li-cious! Generously filled dark chocolate inside a flaky croissant...then lightly pressed down so when you take your first bite the chocolate oozes out gently! It was truly an experience I must repeat again and again! read more

After moving back to Miami from Belgium, I thought I would never find any chocolate to fill the Cote d'or or Neuhaus-shaped hole in my heart. Lo and behold, I discover Cao Chocolates at the Fairchild's Chocolate Festival last year! Their chocolate tastes phenomenal. Their selection of flavors is both creative and delicious. I've met the chocolatier, Ricardo, quite a few times while there and he doesn't make a chocolate he can't add his own personal spin to. The owners are a married couple and whenever we come in, we are treated like family. They have a big heart and you can feel their warmth when you come in. Not only that, but they're also very much into paying it forward in the community. They organize fundraisers at their shop every month or so to give back to causes such as pediatric cancer, homelessness, and the Humane Society. They're also all about chocolate and love to share their passion with others. When we were living in Belgium, we would bring back chocolate as gifts for our friends and family. Now, our family receives Cao Chocolates. This past Christmas, a family member received a box of Norman Love (from a son) and Cao chocolates (from us, duh). After tasting Cao's, they were sold and made a trip down to the shop soon after. If you go, definitely try their almond crunch, passionfruit, double dark chocolate truffle, and scotch one. Their selection does rotate, so you might not always find the same flavors. They also have a chocolate tasting event on Thursdays you can sign up for that is lots of fun. read more

If you're looking for an amazing chocolate store to visit or an awesome virtual experience, I HIGHLY recommend Ricardo and Cao Chocolates! I booked a 1-hour chocolate tasting for a group of 10 and we had such a wonderful time - the chocolates were unique and delicious, and Ricardo was incredibly knowledgeable, down-to-earth and engaging. He brought the chocolates to life through stories about the history and humans behind the exact truffles and bars that he had sent us. Furthermore, booking this event was seamless - Ricardo was very responsive and worked with me to send out the chocolate kits and book the event with just a week's notice. Thank you so much Ricardo, this was such a cool virtual experience and I can't wait to visit Cao Chocolate in Miami when I get the chance! read more

Stumbled onto a zoom chocolate tasting that had been arranged by another group with Cao Chocolates on eventbrite and it was so lovely, I arranged my own for my law affinity bar group as a zoom event during quarantine. Ricardo was so knowledgeable, the chocolate was so delicious and high quality, the connection he has with his farmers (and the investment he makes in them) is so laudable, and man it was so affordable, especially for everything we got in the tasting kit (chocolate pieces for tasting, 6 high-end truffles, even some cocoa nibs and a container of brownies)! Can't recommend highly enough. But book him now - he's booking up fast! read more

Great customer service-we ordered a basket to be delivered to a friend --flowers are great, but chocolate is better! Our friend loved the basket of home made chocolates. One thing to note though--they are no longer at address listed. Online-phone orders only with delivery and shipping available. Love supporting local-even though I didn't get to see them in person. read more

Delicious hand-crafted chocolates! They range from traditional to very creative. Try the curry ginger truffle, trust me!

Such a unique store. All the chocolates are made fresh on site. This is the only store of its kind in all of South Florida. Many varieties and natural taste. This is a pure chocolate experience no added preservatives or artificial flavoring. We purchased a small box to take home of assorted flavors including the salted Caramell and passion fruit chocolate. read more

AMAZING BROWNIES!!! They are the best! Their dark chocolate selection is killer. My guilty pleasure!

I absolutely love this little family owned chocolate shop! Ricardo and his wife are lovely people and they have scrumptious truffles and bon-bons. They make them daily and are preservative free and you can definitely taste the difference compared to other processed chocolates. They make all sorts of creative concoctions and I can't leave that shop without a box-full. I hired them to make chocolate favors for my bridal shower and they were a huuuuge hit! Don't miss their Saturday brunch of chocolate-filled croissants and coffee/hot chocolate! DELISH!! read more

What a wonderful experience! Educational, entertaining, and DELICIOUS! My wife and I went to a chocolate and wine tasting event last night, and it was far more fun and interesting than expected! Ricardo (aka CAO) is a delightful and engaging host, and an astute professor of chocolatology (just made that up - not bad!). In fact, I think the real value in this event is being taken on a journey through the process of making fine chocolates, even more than tasting them! The group is very small (we were only four couples), so it's easy to feel comfortable with the other participants and get to know them a bit. Another unexpected bonus! The chocolates are divine of course, and there are plenty of samples to more than satisfy your cacao fix for the day. Then of course, you'll have the opportunity to buy a stash for future cravings (at a discount), which we did. Overall one of the most unique evenings I've spent with my wife this year. A great value and a very worthwhile investment into the local Miami business community (as opposed to big franchises and chains). Support this business! You won't regret it! read more

The BEST chocolate i've ever had. I highly recommend it, It's a small place, the people are friendly.

I received a voucher from a friend to attend a chocolate tasting here. I was very excited because I am a chocoholic. I got there and was greeted by the most amazing aroma so I knew I was in for a treat and was not disappointed. After being told how the chocolate was made, we got to try some of the single bean chocolates and compare them to a store bought chocolate- there is no comparison! The best part, however, was getting to hang out to try some of the other offerings like the truffles and chat with the other attendees. My favorite was the chai tea truffle. I will definitely be going back for more. read more

I've long since had an affinity for fine chocolate, but "Cao" was the first to teach me about about chocolate during one of his events a few years ago. I am always in search of such fine confections during my travels and I have tasted many, which by the way includes a Chocolate Festival. I'll get straight to the point!!! I haven't tasted better!! I always share Cao Chocolates with my fellow addicts and newcomers alike every chance I get. You are completely charmed by the passion that goes into every bite. Most recently I shared some with a friend who's family has been in the chocolate business for a long time overseas, they were totally floored by Cao's creations and will be returning to Miami for more. His bean-to-bar concept and talent for balance in everything made raises the "bar"(no pun intended) for all others to reach. I am so happy Cao Chocolates is here in Miami and in my neighborhood. The only time I travel mere blocks for some of the best food in the world. AN ABSOLUTE MUST!! Vic P. read more

Very nice experience! The lady behind the counter told me to make sure I checked in to get $2 off. She also helped me to make the perfect selection for my Valentine. We were quickly able to eliminate any chocolate with nuts, alcohol and spice. I was able to taste few samples and they were wonderful! Full disclosure, however, I'm not too into chocolate or sweets, again, this was a gift for someone.... read more

I will never look at chocolate the same way.. Attended one of their tastings (Five Stars *****) and learned the art of chocolate. If you think a good chocolate bar comes in a dark brown wrapper from somewhere in Pennsylvania, you're in for a treat. Everything tastes as good as it looks. They have offers on Groupon to attend a tasting. If you see their Groupon, buy it & go! I went with my wife and we felt like family halfway through Ricardo's presentation. read more
