To visit a particular place or establishment and rate it down in comparison to others is unfair. This is the Vero Beach Farmers Market - not the Fort Pierce, Stuart or Fort Lauderdale Farmers Market. I've had an opportunity to visit a number of Farmers Markets throughout the country and have found the one in Vero Beach to be small, quaint and local to those they serve. Across from Humiston Park on Ocean Drive, this market is open early (according to Vero Beach standards) on a Saturday morning. With a slight breeze from the Atlantic Ocean, it never seems to get "too hot" for those visiting the various vendors. Local food - seafood, fresh bread and pastries, fruit, vegetables, honey, coffee, along with other healthy drinks - and even homemade dog biscuits are available. And yes, the Farmers Market is dog friendly. Young's Market and Rhonda's Seafood appear particularly popular as they always seem to have customers surrounding their stand. On my most recent visit, I enjoyed a cup of mushroom infused coffee. Locally grown plants and homemade crafts are available from various vendors. Tastefully displayed, the farmers market is not a flea market. It's not stuffed with garbage. For those visiting the Vero Beach area, this is also a wonderful opportunity to check out the unique beachside shopping district and restaurants within walking distance of the farmers market. Plenty of street parking and restrooms available at Humiston Park. I debated whether to rate the Vero Beach Farmer's Market 4 or 5 stars. Definitely worth a strong 4 plus stars, I rated them up a bit based upon the friendly atmosphere and seamless way the market is run. No apparent problems or issues - all the pieces seems to fit perfectly. /s/ William E. Lewis Jr. Vero Beach, Florida

We were going for coffee which we never found. We bought a couple of pastries that were solid B- category and yet priced at a higher amount than the fantastic bakery near where we live (in San Diego so its not a cheap place). Blows my mind this place even exists. The people mostly seemed friendly? I'm kind of grasping at straws to find a reason to give that second star.

After seeing an advertisement in Portfolio magazine, my wife and I took advantage of Osceola's…read moreoffer for an early sign up and joined their CSA for $850. At the time we were promised"...a shopping bag of fresh local fruits, and vegetables ready for pick up at the farm each week..." from September 2024 to May 2025. The first bag of food did not arrive until December. It contained a spring mix of kale and collard greens. There was no communication about the delay so we called and were told that poor weather and rain delayed the farm from having vegetables any sooner. We were promised that the season would be extended to make up for it. For the next several weeks, we received a small bag of spring mix. After that, bag preparation and availability became less consistent. As often as not we would take the twenty minute drive to the farm and find no bags on the shelves and no one at the farm we could talk to about it. When we did receive bags they contained one of the following; kale, collard greens, broccoli greens, and beet greens, a few cherry tomatoes and a handful of edible flowers. Occasionally bags included a small head of broccoli or a handful of carrots as small as my thumbnail. When we tried to reach out to the owners, we were told that we did not understand how a CSA operated. During a second call a refund was offered, but quickly retracted. In late March, we went for our weekly pick up. There were no bags but a hand written sign stating that there was sickness in the family and they could not provide veggies. There was no communication beyond that. After three more weeks with no bags we concluded that the weekly bags would not be continuing and the season was over. A few weeks later we received a text stating that they would have a bag together for the following week and that they would be continuing to offer micro greens. We received one additional bag of spring mix, but nothing else. We have been members of CSA farms in the past and have never experienced the lack of communication and broken promises that we had with Osceola Organics Farm.

Oh yeah, we just made it. They always say I got so sick I had to stay home 41/2 days I mean, there's no way I could gone anywhere. I was throwing up and running to the bathroom. It was just awful. I would just be very very very leery of buying anything from there. I called them three times they never would return my call Digit to keep getting written up by the health department just tells you how disgusting they are without even changing their ways and for me to get that sick and lose that many days out of my week is really awful. They have no right being in business selling food so be careful beware my husband threw the food out so I'm able to send you a picture, but it was the clam chowder from the freezer and it was the chicken soup the chicken salad?

They have SCW's small chocolates from Italy which she was excited to see in the states. The store is on the small side but not difficult to get around. They have on the south wall a decent selection of wines and champagnes. Some pretty high quality labels. The middle of the market has things like glasses, cutting boards, some more wines and various other kitchen items. All looked to be of high quality. The north end of the market has a fridge/freezer section and a meat, cheese and deli counter. They have some meals for 2 advertised on the board above but keep in mind they are frozen, which didn't really work for us. But they do have plant based options which is nice. The employees are busy but are happy to help you if you need anything. Overall a good experience but knowing a little about wine, the prices are a bit more than I'd pay for the wines I saw.
