The rudest ownership I have ever experienced. We have tried to give this small business, business many many times. Their online ordering NEVER works. We ordered online, went in to pick it up, and they said they never received it and their grub hub is down. I kindly asked to cancel it because I was charged $78 for an order they didn't get and wouldn't make. The way he treated me was absolutely insane. He grabbed the phone and said "find a driver, BYEEEE." (Makes no sense because we weren't using a driver - we were in person picking up). From a completely normal, kind family trying to get a few bowls for my kids, parents and siblings ... I am telling you I would not write a bad review if it wasn't warranted. DISAPPOINTED! I have enjoyed this little gem for years whenever we are in the Fort for the summer months. I popped in today after my workout excited to grab an açaí bowl. I ordered the regular sized açaí bowl. After paying and some small talk with several of the very friendly employees, the young gal who took my order informed me that they were out of blueberries. Unfortunately, they have nothing as a substitute that has any serious antioxidants. Is it my misunderstanding that they should have told me that they didn't have the ingredients to make my order before taking my money? The regular sized açaí bowl is mostly toppings with about half the bowl being actual açaí. I'm not impressed and very disappointed. This is not the way I remember the portions from last summer. Was wanting to try this place for a while so I finally stopped in. The young lady behind the counter greeted me and was very thorough in explaining to me the menu. I ordered Coco loco and added bee pollen. The bee pollen, banana, honey and coconut was good however when I got past that it was almost all granola and hardly any base. It was like I was eating a bowl of granola cereal. I'm not sure if this is how it's normally made but it wasn't good. Employees here have no idea what's in there acai bowl blends. Ordered a pitaya bowl for my partner and at first it was incorrectly made as a pineapple paradise bowl. We sent the bowl back because my partner is allergic to pineapple. They remade the bowl with pitaya and the wrong toppings so we just had them fix the toppings (telling another employee that she is allergic to pineapple because it appeared as though she put pineapple on it again). After leaving the shop with the correct toppings, we tasted the pitaya and it tasted like pineapple. So we called the shop and asked what is in the pitaya blend as are usually other liquids in there to get the right consistency i.e coconut water. I overheard the employee asking someone else what's in the blend before she informed us that they put pineapple mango and dragonfruit in it. Thank god this is not a life threatening allergy because their employees do not seem to be careful around food allergies. If you have allergies it's best to avoid this place. read more

My first taste of acai started with a small sample a guy offered me at the Fort Pierce Farmer's Market one Saturday morning. I was standing at the Beach Bowls tent and with that first mouthful, I was hooked. I then ordered the regular acai bowl with bananas, strawberries and blueberries and any other fruit he had and he topped it off with honey. Oh my gosh, it was a work of art. I took a seat to listen to the musicians of the day and thoroughly savored every bite of my bowl. The granola was perfect with just the right amount of crunch. I am a big fruit lover so I made sure every spoonful had a bit of granola, fruit and that beautiful purple acai in every bite. I went back to ask if they would be at the market again next Saturday and was told about the Beach Bowls location just a short walk up on Avenue A. So now on Saturdays or any other day I really want to eat healthier, I go to Beach Bowls for my acai bowl and sit in their cool beach vibe dining room and enjoy my acai bowl bite by delicious bite. I was really excited to try this place so i'm definitely going to give it another try and maybe get something that doesn't have granola. I also paid 25$ for two bowls, for the one I got maybe a quarter of a banana one strawberry and a pinch of blueberries. I've never paid that much anywhere. Very overpriced for what you get. The açaí bowls were 80% granola. Fantastic kombucha made by a local. However, I ordered a growler of their kombucha and they gave me a half gallon plastic milk jug instead of their nice glass growlers. Brought it back for a refill because you get $5 off. The guy cracked the milk jug and instead of giving me a new jug, poured out the kombucha to just below the crack. He gave us the rest of that kombucha in a plastic cup. As you could guess, the "growler" leaked all the way home. Will not be revisiting. read more
