Marshall took the time to walk us through all of our options, answer our many questions, and provide us with a fair quote. We spoke with Rachel several times over the phone with additional questions, and she was always helpful and responsive. The crew of about five men who completed the project were all professional, respectful, and courteous. They had to use a crane for the removal, and it was clear that safety and professionalism were a priority throughout the entire project. The team also did a great job cleaning up the yard before they left. We truly appreciated the excellent communication, professionalism, and quality of work from everyone at Rivendell Tree Experts. We would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree removal services!

I got bids from five tree services to trim two trees and these guys were the highest by far. 2.5x…read morehigher than the second highest bid. They do a lot of advertising so I guess that's where a lot of it goes. Also there's extra cost of having a person just for giving estimates. Downsides could be details not conveyed to the crew or having to explain it again. On the plus side, they were available fairly quickly. Or is that a bad thing? I guess if you have an emergency and need tree work done right away and money is not a priority, give them a call. But if you have time, always get multiple quotes and check their insurance and licenses, don't just trust their word.

They came to cut down a VERY large Evergreen pine tree--72 years old and about 100 ft tall. They worked with the power company because our electrical connection to the power lines prohibited chopping it down easily. When the power company missed appointments set to address the issue, it threw a monkey wrench into their ability to take care of us as they wanted. But they weren't thwarted. Though it took a more circuitous route, they effectively took huge branches off, then felled the main trunk. Finally, they cleaned up all the leavings. They were excellent at what they did. They exhibited creativity in crafting solutions for such a daunting problem in a small space. They were very respectful in all their communication. We would highly recommend this team. We found them to be completely honest. We hope others will find this review very helpful, and we wish them all the best.
