The house we rented was fine. It was spacious and nice.
However, I had a couple issue with Canyon Services. First, when I called the night we got there to ask where to park car, they told us we have a parking garage for 1 car and to park our second car in front of the garage. Next day, a neighbor had to tell us that it was a horrible idea so snow is melting and coming down from the room so it could easily crush the roof of the car.
Second, the entrance of the house is not right by the sidewalk. There is a small path that leads to it. That path was barely shoveled and was incredibly icy. The first night, we arrived after the sun went down so the path was pretty much frozen. Walking down that path with our luggage was very dangerous. Even during the day, that path was very slippery and dangerous to walk. I slipped multiple times and almost sprained my ankle. I called Canyon Services as well as emailed them about this issue but they did not say anything over the phone nor did they reply to my email. I felt that they did not want to reply and acknowledge the issue in fear of liability if an injury happened. That was very disappointing. read more
