Fantastic Chinese food! When they have a delivery driver working they deliver very fast.

Food is ok. Service is awful. Arrogant guy taking orders is rude AF. If you tell him you want small size portion he gives you the large one so you have to pay more. A bit expensive. So if you like Rude ass people and getting charged quite a bit of money then this place is for you. C- read more

I have tried this place before years ago and it wasn't good then but always willing to give a second chance. I got quite a number of dishes so in case if one dish was missed as being not good then I would avoid that dish. Here's the order: One of my fav is chicken noodle soup . Soup was cold and tasteless . Chicken udon : udon was soggy way way over cooked . And again just bland Chicken chow mein : again bland and fried rice is just plain. The whole order : the only decent was the fried wings. The meal was not good at all, and way too much MSG used. After eating some of the meal I had to have cups and cups of water . We will not be back . read more

First off I would give them NO stars. It was the worst Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered yhe General Tso's Chicken. It was soggy breading with stringy chicken and hardly any sauce. The rice was overboiled with a few morsels of pork. Crab Rangoons were mediocre. Had I been in the restaurant I would have sent it back. I feel ripped off for about $11.50. Let's start off with identifying the genre - this is a Chinese - American take out place, so if you are looking to compare it to something else you may be disappointed. Yes, I have had better in both NYC and San Francisco Chinatowns for sure. But comparing the two as people seem to do when it comes to Chinese food would be like comparing a Ruth Chris Steak House to a Bonanza. I had one of the appetizer combo's with pork fried rice, beef teriyaki, chicken fingers, and an egg roll. Also tried the fried dumplings and the crab ragoons. Bottom line was that everything was good. The chicken fingers had the right amount of batter and were cooked just right. The dumplings appeared to be pan fried and did not have a big pocket of oil when you bit into it. The rice - which can be dry or bland in these types of restaurants - was moist and flavorful - did not have to add extra soy sauce. Nothing seemed old - like it had been sitting on a buffet steam table. Ordered online - which is a major plus. Prices are in line with other Chinese restaurants in the area. Arrived in 30 minutes. I would place it in the top 2 for L/A area Chinese - American. Would order here again. read more

I absolutely would never recommend Canton Wok to anybody. I gave this business the benefit of the doubt even after seeing their bad reviews, and this is where it got me. Our food that we ordered last night had big pieces of plastic throughout it, and when calling to explain this to them, not only was I yelled at by the woman who answered the phone and by the manager, but I was refused a refund, was offered more of their food for 10% off, and was hung up on a total of three times. They also asked me to take all of the food back to prove that we were being truthful. This all occurred after I sent them a picture of what we had found. The third time hanging up on me, the conversation ended with the manager yelling "You cannot call hear ever again, okay" when I simply was trying to explain to him what had happened. read more

I will never order from them again ! I have ordered 3times in one week and everything I ordered was very low grade.. Horrifyingly bad service. I have been a few times, everything was great. But this last time I ordered, paid and left. I was called twice that evening by this place by a woman screaming at me to tell me I never "settled my bill" .. they asked for my credit card info over and over and I refused over the phone saying I would come in and pay them if the payment hadn't processed due to their machine being down. I looked the next day and it went through just fine (they even over charged me $2.00 but whatever). I called back to explain this and was screamed at by a woman then a man, then hung up on multiple times while people yelled in the background "I not dealing with it, you deal with it!". then they TEXTED me in the middle of the night from an out of state number to tell me they never over charged me.... Pretty good food! Large portions at inexpensive prices. And they offer delivery! We've gotten the chow Mein, orange chicken, pork and chicken fried rice, beef teriyaki, and more! The worse Chinese food I have ever had. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, pork fried rice and spring rolls. Everything tasted like it was cooked in old oil. The fried rice had burnt pork pieces. Luckily there was very little pork in the fried rice. Only had one bite of the spring roll and believe me that was enough. It had a funny taste that I could not quite place. don't get me wrong, i love love love this place, however the website could use some work. there are no ingredients listed when you tap an item, so you sort of just have to hope your not allergic to whatever is in your food. i'm probably not alone in assuming a spring roll doesn't have any sort of meat in it, but this time i found shrimp in my spring roll. as someone with a shellfish allergy, i was pretty alarmed and immediately stopped eating it and took the proper precautions to prevent my throat from swelling and closing. The food quality has gone up considerably since the new owners took over. They offer delivery for the area and will even take orders after their closing hour. Their coconut chicken is very tasty, and the iced tea that they make fresh is delicious! Don't be put off by the former food quality.
