Whatever the issue MAY have been with the one other review of this place, those issues have been resolved.
If you're looking for a family run place in Manarola with good food, drinks, and atmosphere, this is your place. The owner accommodated the entire restaurant to make sure everybody could huddle around the TV they brought outside to watch Italy play in the Euro Cup (lots of locals!). During all of this, they served food and drinks quickly, and everything looked and tasted phenomenal. Our server Nico was so helpful and kind. He served us from apertivo through the night and through dinner.
The best part was seeing the chef: an older woman grinding behind the scenes, cutting the prosciutto fresh, and working her ass off. Great, fun, authentic experience away from the hustle and bustle near the water.
THANK YOU to the staff!
I should add: 4 drinks, a large appetizer, and two pastas totaled 80 euro. Cannot complain. read more
