This place was a great find!
We were walking back from the Sunday flea market, on the tables outside, everything smelled amazing so we asked if we could get a table. We were quickly seated outside as requested and the wait staff was so very helpful. The service throughout our meal was exceptional. With a combination of a little English, and a little Spanish, we were able to communicate well.
We had the paella, Mixta, not fishy, and all of the sea food was good. The rice was cooked to perfection. They're Spanish tortilla is the best one we tried during our two weeks in Spain. Fluffy, not eggy, the potatoes were so tender, Delish! Ours was without onion, and the whole thing was just fabulous; five simple ingredients that come together perfectly. The roasted peppers and spicy chorizo real perfect combination and so tasty. We topped all of this off with some good quality, Iberico ham with bread. The portions were generous and unlike some restaurants they had no problems when we asked to take our leftovers with us.(para llevar)
The house red wine was 2.80 euro and very good. Good enough that I asked to take a picture of the bottle. My friends had sangria and beer, all very reasonably priced and good.
The ambience was exactly what we craved, it was a beautiful fall day, sitting outside at a cafe, enjoying people watching, delicious food and good drinks.
If I return to Spain, I will definitely return here. read more
