Booking an appointment was smooth and easy, and I felt instantly at ease walking in. Front desk staff was amazing, and I couldn't have asked for a better hygienist! Chelsea was the sweetest person ever, and really made me feel comfortable. I have never experienced such a thorough and in-depth explanation/analysis of my teeth and dental health. We discussed my medical history and factors that could affect my teeth health, and Chelsea detailed each process that we went through. The cleaning process went smoothly and then Dr. Silver came in to check on me. She was very easy to talk to, and showed me through my x-rays and scans to tell me about what I needed to do next in my dental journey to get my teeth back on track. After getting teeth cleaned and convinced to get unnecessary x-rays, then asked to get further consultstion from a visiting periodontist, for a large fee, a bite guard was recommended. We were assured the high and full cost would be covered by insurance and anything over would be discounted, so any out of pocket cost would be zero. A month later we started getting harassing calls from some rude lady at John's Creek Dental Excellence for $75, she claimed was still owed for the non-discounted price. She said that the $75 amount would be sent to collections. I explained the price agreement promised at time of service. She didn't care, and we never received a statement itemizing their claim. So, after spending hundreds of dollars this rude dental office would rather send $75 to collections instead of keeping a family for future dental care. Pretty pathetic. They lost all future care from us, obviously. The owners here are poor examples of what it means to care for a patient. I'd certainly not trust their clinical skills. We won't ever return and will warn our friends and family about the unprofessionalism and lack of care we experienced. Just goes to show that the name of a business on the building doesn't always reflect the integrity of the owners inside.

During the time of cleaning we requested our dental X-ray pictures given to us so we can send it to our dentist who placed our dental bridges. At that time we were told we to pay or wait till insurance pays for the services to get X-ray pictures. We said we will wait for insurance to pay and then get X-ray pictures. After months and after insurance payment I called and talked to the office. I was told to pay $ 50 each to get X-ray pictures. I said I will not pay but complain to my insurance company. We started seeing him before he joined Lanier Dental Partners, and we followed him there. We all go every 6 months for a cleaning, even during Covid. My children sat in my wife's lap as babies so they wouldn't grow up scared of the dentist. There has also been the occasional dental emergency. EVERY TIME we paid immediately after the appointment was over. For twenty years we have lived at the same address and had the same phone number. Dr Palmer recently retired and I am not very happy with Dr. Patel, his replacement. Recently, every time we go, they insist we fill out a medical history form, even if nothing has changed. The last time I went in for an appointment it was the same thing but then, the woman at the desk asked for a copy of my Driver's License. Remember, for twenty years we pay as soon as the appointment is over and we've lived in the same house. They really have no need to ask for my Driver's License. I decided we would just find another dentist and cancelled all our upcoming appointments. Now, they can legally ask for my Driver's License. However there is a lot of identity theft going on in the world. If hackers can breach large companies like AT&T, Equifax, Visa etc., how easy is it to breach Lanier Dental Partners? I would not advise anyone to have their Drivers License copied unless you have to for insurance reasons. I am in the finance business and 4 or 5 times a year we hear from our clients that someone stole their I.D. Businesses like Lanier Dental Partners have a policy in place that makes your identity accessible. I would think twice before you hand over that information. On February 7, Dr Patel sent me a Certified Letter "firing" us from her practice because I refused to give them my license. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this practice. They only want to check the boxes and have forgotten they are dealing with real people. The letter from Dr. Patel is just one more example. I would have never done this review, but Dr. Patel just went too far. P.S.
