If anything should happen to my car in the next 3 months whether it is wear and tear or otherwise,…read moreI will be contacting a lawyer and I will serve you with papers. I brought my car in on a Wednesday morning for routine maintenance--an oil change, coolant flush, tire rotation, alignment, and a tune-up. I was quoted around $650, which seemed fair. An hour later, the shop called to say my valve cover was leaking and the total would now be about $930, which I approved. They ordered what turned out to be the wrong part, and by Thursday they still hadn't touched my car or updated me. When I called, they told me the correct part was on extreme backorder and that the cost would now be around $1,040 because they had already taken my car apart. After speaking with the manager, Steve, he agreed I wouldn't be charged labor for the valve cover or gasket since the mistake was theirs. I only paid for the $30 gasket and reminded them of the remaining services I still needed, many of which they had not done despite having my car for over 24 hours. The next day, they told me my alignment couldn't be completed due to loose tie rod ends, and later said my car was finally ready. When I arrived, I paid for the completed services, but upon checking my receipt, I noticed they had charged me around $55 for the valve cover gasket instead of the $30 both the tech, TJ, and the manager had stated. After confronting them, the manager refunded the difference. The entire experience left me distrustful and frustrated, and I will not be returning to that shop.

I trusted the cost quoted to replace CV joints without research because recommended by a friend and the estimated cost seemed very reasonable. I was called with a cost of repair before they did the work and it was done on time and as quoted. The only frustrating thing was I wanted the car repaired and picked up by a friend since I was going to be out of town on business. I had a check made out to pay for the repairs but when I called I was told they would not accept a check. I reminded her I had stopped by a few days before to set up an appointment and at that time I explained I would be out of town on business and would they accept a check. I reminded her we were both were close friends with dealer who recommended them, she verbally agreed. I even suggested she contact him since I have done business with him over 20 years. She said that was not necessary. However, when I called to get the price and mentioned my friend would bring a check, drop off my truck and pick up my car. She told me she would not take a check. I reminded her based on my earlier visit the week, she agreed to accept a check since I would be out of town. It was no use, she said she never said that. I reminded her of our discussion but she did not remember. Why would I make that up since I came in to discuss my being out of town when making the appointment. I tried to convince her of out discussion but no use so I gave up. I ended up paying a 3% credit card surcharge. Because of this, I decided not to drop of my 2016 RAM because of this issue, I took my business to another auto shop.

Needless to say we have spent a good bit over a few years. Yesterday I went in for four new tires for my Honda Ridgeline. Dropped it off and left it for good portion of the day. Bought 4 tires and had oil change and alignment that came free with purchase promotion. On way home I got a low tire reading on tps, stopped and first one I checked had 24 psi not factory 32 psi. I called the store, they apologized. I have portable inflator so pulled over and Put air in and came home. Today the tps still on, I checked the remaining 3 they also had only24 psi. So all 4 new tires put on with only 24psi. While I realize mistakes can happen...all 4 tires under inflated? Not good. I now question what services were done and if done correctly. Calling tomorrow to let the guy I dealt with know.

About an hour before close, they called to inform me they lost the screw that holds a piece on. They were trying to find a new one but being that it was so late on a Saturday they didn't know if they could find a new piece and their shop is closed on Sundays. Slightly inconvenient, but I didn't need my car until monday anyways. Then they called me about fifteen minutes later saying they randomly found the screw and the car was ready. *suspish* This was right before they closed, so I feel that they did not drive the car at all to make sure everything was running smoothly despite replacing some pretty essential parts. I picked the car up and drove it home, one mile down the road and all right turns. The next time I drove my car, it would make a hissing sound when the wheel is turned to the left and the power steering now goes out and locks up during left hand turns. All of these issues are coming from the same initial front left tire well I had them check out. My car is now not safe to drive. I reached out to them and after they took a look, they basically said it's not their issue. My problem here is that my car was more functional before I took it to them. I have never had this issue with my vehicle prior to their handy work. After leaving their shop, my car is now unsafe. I'm now $1300 out and my car is even further from functioning properly. I would have much rather had an annoying popping sound in my car rather than not being able to make left hand turns. The company was given a chance to make things right but instead wanted to charge $900 more dollars. After talking to several people who work on cars as a hobby, everyone has said it sounds as if they punctured a line in the power steering system due to the fact that the hissing sound and power steering issues occur in the same tire well which received work, but they aren't owning up to their mistake. Bottom line: if you are looking for quality service auto work and want your loved ones to drive away in a safe vehicle, go elsewhere.
