Walking into this building off Canal St. in Wabash, IN you would NEVER expect what you find. Everything from the seating to the tables and art on the walls to the drinks and food screams heart and soul. Julie seems to have poured every ounce of her being into this place and you feel the warmth and joy the moment you step through the doors. M and I went here last night and I want to go back to again tonight! We were lucky enough to sit next to the kitchen and speak with Julie throughout our evening. We started with drinks, I got a Ginger Citrus Mocktail and M got a Vodka Soda, the mocktail was AMAZING!!! Then we ordered the Bruschetta and the tomatoes were amazingly prepared and the balsamic glaze was the perfect pairing. I opted for the Grilled Mediterranean Chicken Skewers for my main course and the little pearls of quinoa and couscous were like little pillows on your tongue! The flavors all married so well together and the chicken and Tatziki were amazing! M got two orders of Roast Beef Sliders, and I now know why now, they were amazing, freshly toasted from the oven, and the perfect combination of sweet and savory! We ended the night with BOTH desserts and there was NOTHING left on the plate after I was done, we got the Brownie and the Butter Cake -- delicious!!! I encourage everyone to try this spot out, and if you do, make sure you have NO plans after because you will not want to leave! We can't wait to go back again!

Service was slow, which we understand on a busy night, though we only ended up having one server instead of two as we were originally told. A drink menu was not given to us to begin with, so we had to ask. Specials also weren't told to us without having to ask. The food was tasty overall, but inconsistent. Some steaks ordered the same way came out overcooked. Also, we were never offered dessert or told about the dessert menu, which was unfortunate since it was a birthday celebration. It was a nice evening, but we'd choose a different spot for a large group next time.

And can't really go grocery shopping until tomorrow. I had coupons. So figured why not , right ? So I go in. The man who was going to make my sandwich was wiping his nose and obviously sick. He did it on his wrist. Right next to his glove. And reaching over food. Next when my sandwich got toasted, they pulled the tray out and sat it directly on top of all the cold food.. they were doing this everytime with everyone's sandwich. As I was paying for our food, I decided to get us a few chocolate chip cookies. The guy at the register grabbed the tongs and picked up some cookies and tried bagging them. 1 cookie broke and it fell on the table where they've been putting their hands and other stuff without gloves. Instead of taking that cookie and tossing it in the trash. He threw it in with my other cookies.
