It has a game room and one prize is a crockpot so adults and children should play. Had a Jack and Coke, average. The food gets good reviews but we didn't eat. The people there seemed friendly and like regulars. We didn't bowl as we were there to support and no open lines. They had clever names for lots of things and areas. Punny names which was fun and clever. So clean, friendly, booze, and a sense of humor. The only big downside is size but I don't know how popular the place is overall and while booked solid tonight that was due to league.

Everything is sooooooo CLEAN. The atmosphere is nothing like back in the day. It's not dark with flashing lights and music blaring so loud you can't hear yourself think. (Don't get me wrong, I loved that as a teenager.) It's bright and welcoming. There is music playing, but it's not out of control loud. We had such a good time here. The food is really good too!!! Not one single game was free. I thought they were going to charge me just to walk. Secondly, this place is extremely racist toward Black and Brown people because most of the workers are young white people. They are unfriendly, unhappy, and unwelcoming. It is not a warm environment. My two young children had a blast. We probably could have stayed here for hours, but we only dropped by for an hour and a half. But we packed a lot in during that time. Combat Ops has a huge laser tag arena, an area to have Nerf battles, a laser maze, miniature golf, miniature bowling, outdoor axe throwing, an arcade, and an eatery area with local beer. It's basically the perfect place to bring your kids and relax while they play (or join in the fun -- whatever you want to do). I would say that most of the games and entertainment is geared toward older kids and teens (and adults). For instance, my younger child wasn't able to do the laser tag because the guns were a bit heavy for his little arms. But that was pretty much the only thing, other than axe throwing, that he couldn't do. Younger kids would love the miniature bowling, because the balls are small and can fit in a little hand. The miniature golf was also a favorite because what little kid doesn't like putt-putt golf?! My personal favorite was the Nerf arena. We booked a half hour, and they make you watch a safety video, then tell you the rules, and then have you put on safety glasses and let you pick out a Nerf weapon. There is always someone walking around to make sure everyone is playing safely. As a mom who worries about everything, I appreciated all of the extra steps Combat Ops takes to make sure everyone is safe! They aren't obtrusive about it -- just insistent, which I like. The person monitoring our session suggested some games that we could play, which made the experience even more fun. We had a great time playing capture the flag and freeze tag with our Nerf guns. Another favorite of ours was the laser maze. You step into a foggy room, and try to get from one side to the other without tripping the lasers. I think we did the laser maze at least six times! It was a lot of fun. My kids didn't want to leave this place when it was time to go, and they're already talking about how they want to come back for their birthday. Combat Ops really is a super fun place for families, and my family can't wait to go back.

The owner, Dustin went out of his way to still honor our reservation and made sure we could still take our 30+ kids bowling. It's been years since I've been to this location but I was so impressed with the remodel. We all had a blast glow-in-the-dark bowling and hanging out. We will definitely book more events (in Indiana!!!) and visit 101 Bowl again soon! HUGE THANKS to Dustin for making this happen for us!!!
