I was on my way back home to Jersey, I got there around 530 and they got me right in. The woman at the front and security guard was so pleasant and welcoming. I then was taken care of by Romeo and he was so great! He was very informative and took his time to explain everything to me since they have soo many things to choose from and I'm still kind of new to anything that isn't flower. He answered all my questions with no problems. Honestly everyone there was really friendly and made my first time there a great experience. Not sure what's going on with Cannabliss, but they have been closed since 1/22/2024 with no further communication beyond an Instagram post and all comments have been disabled. Over the last few weeks of operation, the selection was limited at best. Service was always hit or miss and it felt like there were new people every time I came into the shop. I wanted to patronize this place because it's in my neighborhood and the only black owned dispensary in DC, but after comparing to others in the city since their abrupt closing, the value just isn't there in both selection and pricing. If they ever open back up, I'd only utilize them for convenience as needed at this point. read more

Solid shop , but they need to communicate somehow when online shopping services are disabled like WeedMaps or Dutchie. Also better communication on if they are open or closed. Well this is my neighborhood store and while I love the atmosphere, the friendly staff and convenience of having a safe place to buy much needed products, the prices are a bit lofty! I like their customer loyalty point system too. They just need to come down a tad bit on those prices. I WANT to support this place, I really do. They are very proud that they are black-owned and operated, and you can feel it. It is a good vibe inside. The employees, even the armed security guard, all seem to be in a good mood. They unfortunately just don't have the type of selection that deserves me visiting regularly. They either don't provide it in the first place, or it's out of stock. 1. "Ooo, I'll try to Cookie Dough." -sorry we are all sold out- 2. "Okay, that happens. I'll try something else. What flavors in the troche? ..(3).. Ooo yummy, I'll take the strawberry basil." -sorry, we are all out of that flavor in the 10-pack, we have coconut or grapefruit... "Mmm no" 3. "How about let's try the lozenges, do you have strawberry?" - no we don't. "Alright, I'll just go somewhere else." And I did. They lost a customer because of the lack of product they supply, simply put. Within 15 minutes I not only found what I was looking for, I think I found a place I will be a regular at. I won't go back to a business that has proven to me, twice, that they don't have what I'm looking for. While I want to support it for their vibe, at the end of the day I am there to buy products. Having been to other dispensaries in the area, I support Cannabliss whole heartedly. For those not familiar with the area you will probably pass it before you find it on your first try (it's not hidden but the building draws minimal attention if any.) I will say that the deals are pretty inconsistent and I can tell you for sure that a majority of the selection found in Cannabliss can be purchased for cheaper in and around the area at other dispensers in DC. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and I do appreciate them being so honest about the strains. The selection IS bigger (and growing) and for those fan-favorites of District Cookies, Rainmaker, Viper Cookies, etc, I recommend this place because they never seem to run out. In all I give it a solid 3.5 outta 5. Not a budget-friendly place if you're in to that stuff. Definitely the last-resort of all the dispensaries if your go-to spot happens to run out. read more

So I called, and the young man told me they get it pre-packaged from District Cannabis, and if the weight is off, they take no accountability even though they collect the money. Although I am a Maryland card holder, I have learned from DC patients that they have also had negative experiences with this dispensary. Cannabliss is the only dispensary in DC that won't accept your Maryland card with next year's expiration date..they insist on you having a second MD cannabis ID..they throw you all kinds of rigamarole about how they can't see the Maryland commission ID when real dispensaries like Takoma Wellness in DC (who the managers admitted was a better dispensary than them) or National Holistic in Dupont Circle accept only one ID with a valid expiration date. Those real dispensaries let people in with only one ID and an expiration date of 2023. Cannabliss (not much bliss there), they want not only your vaccination card, I gave them that, but the note from your doctor. Do they need my birth certificate too?..they blame it on the State of Maryland who they say gives two expiration dates. I don't know why they do it." Oh, it's the state's fault. They deliver, they're responsive, and they're really nice. Not sure why anyone here has had a bad experience. It's a pandemic! People are nervous, not every day is a perfect day for employees. Also the employees are unionized there according to a recent article. I am happy that they deliver on time with my products. I am a new MMJ cardholder and although I am a regular user, I have little clue how to approach MMJ as medicine. I am grateful to learn from the staff here. The tinctures have really helped me get started in the morning and I like that I can sample different flower strains in small quantities for $15 or so. I tried another place that didn't deliver and the experience was nerve-wracking. Too many people, people at the desk not organized, customers were not distancing at all. It was popular but I have health conditions that make me more vulnerable. There aren't very many MMJ dispenseries in DC. During a panedmic there are always going to be supply chain problems. The grocery stores never have my coffee creamer and other items I would consider vital. So if they're out of a strain maybe consider DC could be restricting how much they are allowed to order at a time or that there's things supply chain issues during a pandemic. read more

They robbed me. They put 2 grams of buds into a 1 gram container. I paid for 2 grams. Did not see it until I got home. I called back to complain, and got a lame excuse from an so-called Executive Manager, saying it depends on the size of the buds. I will never go back there again. Trying to find out what agency handles complaints of this nature. I still have a gut-wrenching feeling about being robbed and lied to.
