I decided not to pursue a MM Card. $200 plus another $50 to the State of MA EVERY YEAR!! Yeah, it helps me a lot, yeah, I smoke and do edibles and vape pens, but not enough to even break even on the cost of getting the card. I would have to make a $100 purchase 10 times in order to just break even on the 20% tax! I'll actually spend less just buying it as a recreational user and paying the tax! Save you money unless you go through a couple of ounces a month. Better: GROW, COOK, SMOKE, AND MAKE YOUR OWN OIL. It's not as hard as you might think. :-) The biggest irk of all is that I went to cancel my appointment more than 24 hours in advance and there is no way to do this through the online account they have you create. So, I sent an email, and it bounced back! I double checked the address, and it was identical to the link URL at their website. I tried again, and it bounced back again. The next day, the day of my appointment, I tried calling them--from two different numbers that I found at their website. It rings, transfers to another phone, rings, and does this about 5 times, then you're on hold and eventually have to hang up because no one ever answers the phone, and there is nothing that tells you how much longer you have to wait. :-( VERY aggravating!! I've never seen any business harder to talk to! The day I went down there, their website said "Walk-ins Welcome!" So, I walked in that day and waited for nearly 15 minutes before I was acknowledged, and then was told that they couldn't see me at all that they were already full for that day and "would you like to make an appointment." So, I made one, and now cannot nicely tell them to please give my time to someone else because their email doesn't work, and no one ever answers the phone!! Don't even waste your time with these people and do not be fooled into thinking that if you get a MM card that you're going to save a bunch of money at the dispensary, cause it just ain't so! read more
