We have tried other groomers and he is usually very nervous during and after the grooming experience. As a result he would often have some uneven cuts and if not we would have complaints about him being wiggly or reports of him crying. When we arrived to pick up our pup from Rufflections he was happy, his tail was not tucked, he was wagging and completely relaxed! She always makes time to walk my dog, even for a last minute request. She is responsible and highly attentive, and checks in with me on a daily basis if I forget to ask for a walk. My dog can be anxious and sometimes destructive when I work long hours, but since Aaralyn started walking him daily he's relaxed and content when I get home. Her services are personalized, reliable, and affordable. Also, Aaralyn shows how much she cares for the dogs she walks by providing an outstanding and unmatched level of service. When my dog became very sick one day inside his kennel, she immediately cleaned him and his kennel, made him a clean dry bed, and then texted and emailed me to let me know what was going on. For the next three days, she went to check on him every two hours while I was at work, even if it was just to sit with him and comfort him. On top of that, one of her walkers took my dog to the vet and waited with me while he got checked out, then walked him back home so that I could go back to work. This walker even bought a bottle of water to bring with him to make sure that my sick dog would have something cool to drink on the walk to the vet and back. She did not charge a penny extra for any of this - only for the times he was walked. She's fantastic!

They are so flexible, picking up and dropping off our little guys when we need and I never feel stressed about it. I provide their food and medications and feel comforted that they're in good hands. We get texts with lovely pictures of our babies playing (attached). I know they have a good time, because they literally run away from us and to the van, and never want to come home when they're being dropped off (*cries*). They're always home smelling fresh (and bathed), and exhausted from playing. Incredibly grateful to Five Pups and the top notch daycare and boarding. Highly highly recommended.

I once asked how much time they spend outside and they made it clear that if it's uncomfortable for you to be outside (too cold, too hot, etc.) then it's uncomfortable for them to be outside and they bring them in. 3. Your dog will be super excited to see Arthur when he comes to pick them up so you know they love them and take care of them like they're their own. 4. Did I mention Arthur will come to you and pick up your dog?! We live in Columbia Heights for reference. 5. If you have a younger dog or a rescue that's the only dog in the house, it's a fantastic way for your dog to get in a whole day of socialization and playtime while you're at work. Especially if they're a pandemic baby! One last thing. When we first started sending her, we had lots of questions about the facilities (since they're in Indian Head, MD, we didn't really want to drive over there to check them out ourselves) and they took the time to answer every one. They clearly care about the health and safety of the dogs in their care and have invested time and money into their setup. I can't remember the details of all the recent upgrades. His coat was unevenly shaved, especially around the face and body, and overall looked rushed and unprofessional. I also noticed a yellow residue around his tear duct, which made it seem like his face wasn't properly cleaned. This was a very disappointing experience, and I won't be returning.
