I booked my appt online for a Saturday which works great with my work schedule. Dropped the dogs off and was warmly greeted by the groomer, Annie. She handled my old lady dogs with patience and care. You could tell how much she pours her heart into each dog and making sure it is an enjoyable experience for them while also meeting the expectations of the human owner (me). I picked up my golden girls a couple hours later.., they smelled great, had clean ears and teeth and short nails. I could tell my girls felt pampered and exhausted from the festivities. I've always trusted this place and never thought I'd have a bad experience -- but the last few months have been awful. A while back, one of my dogs came home with an eye infection that lasted over a week and took vet visits to clear up. I tried to brush it off as a one-time mistake because I wanted to believe in them. But today, my other dog came home with a CHUNK missing from her ear. I was shocked, angry and heartbroken. I've attached a photo because it still doesn't feel real. I was told this by the groomer who said sorry and ran into the back room. I've always paid in full and treated the staff with respect, but after two injuries to my dogs, I just can't go back. It hurts to say that about a place I've trusted for so long. My dogs mean everything to me, and they deserve better care than this. Zero stars from me -- and a very heavy heart.
