Alongside popular brands, they also have lesser known candy brands too. One section of the store also souvenir items like KC apparels, magnets, stickers, key chains and other accessories. Whole store is mostly clean and organized. The store has some fascinating items like Dragon made out of gummy beans, toilet bowls filled with chocolate boxes and a Harry Porter wizard status. Prices are decent for a tourist area location. There was one associate in the store helping customers with products and checkouts.

One of the first stops that caught my husband's eye was the Candy Wizard. We found a couple of things to bring home. Two hanging plaques(to celebrate the year we were born and the year we got married, as we celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this year). We also found a couple of booklets for those same years. Next time, we may stop in and pick up pieces for the next set of years that mean something special to us. If you have a sweet tooth, you will be in heaven with this shop. There is plenty to choose from here. From candy sticks, the current favorites out there today. The staff was very sweet and attentive during our visit as well.

Lamp Farm Country Store - Lots of great gift ideas in here. Stop by and get souvenirs and goodies.

Looking for a way to joy some free time in our weekend we decided to take a drive to Lawson on…read moreSaturday to visit this quaint family farm we had heard a good deal about. We get to enjoy the most picturesque country drive on our way and know we found the place when we pull up to the most darling little red farm store ive ever seen. As i am getting my daughter out of the car we are greeting by a whinnying horse and mooing little cows. We stopped inside the store first to check with the owners and figure out what we needed to do. They said they were currently doing hay rides on a wagon being pulled by two Clydesdale horses! And that tickets were purchased at the register and then given to the wagon driver. $5 per person for wagon ride around the field. Its a very smooth and steady ride. We saw animals in the grass too and lots of wildflowers. We bought treats to give the animals in the free petting zoo. (Always support local farmers! the money goes right back into the farm) and we got fresh baked pumpkin bread, toys and candies! They have soaps, seasonal decor, spices, and all sorts of things made right there including having a good selection of taffy. They have llamas, goats, horses, cows, dogs, cats, chickens, turkey, geese and more on the farm. Nice and hospitable people. Always remember to be respectful when visiting a family farm. this is their home that they open for you to enjoy. Ask questions. Learn about farming.
