There was a pile of chocolates in plastic containers stacked in the middle behind the counter. The señora that was there wasn't the most friendly, she definitely did not want to go out of her way to let me see what flavors were available to choose from. Flavors that I went in for were there not available. It's beautifully designed, inside and out! I came to this location because of an instagram reel or I had seen, so walking in to this was just sad.

Can't say enough positive about this little chocolate shop near downtown El Paso. I stopped in…read morebecause it was the wife's birthday the next day and I wanted to get her something unique. At first impression these chocolates are beautiful! I told the owner that they looked like something you would find on the high streets of Paris. A very large selection of one-of-a-kind flavors you wont find anywhere else, so don't be surprised to see tamarind, chamoy or cactus of something. I told the shopkeeper I would be back the next day on my way to the airport to pick up a box. My travel plans changed that afternoon and it was 4:55pm (closes 5pm) and I called and asked if they could stay open another 10mins until I could get these. They happily obliged me and I was able to grab the chocolates for my wife on my way to the airport the same day. Definitely check this place out. Again, the chocolates are beautiful, you will not regret at least stopping by to see artistry in action and grab 2-3. I think a box of 24 was $45, which is by all means NOT expensive for the quality you are getting.

In response, they promptly offered to make amends by sending a fresh new batch of Jamoncillo, this time including the promised pecans. Additionally, they went above and beyond by including some of their glazed pecans and two different types of frutas enchiladas. I must say, their effort to rectify the situation truly demonstrates their commitment to customer service. It's evident that they are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction. I appreciate their proactive approach and the steps taken to make things right. I tried everything and it taste so much better and fresher than even my local areas. I look forward to being an ongoing customer of NUESTRA NOSTALGIA. I am updating my review to reflect their commitment to resolving the issue and their exemplary customer service.

Did you know El Paso has a hidden candy factory?…read more I had no idea and I regularly park nearby to go to Deadbeach Brewery, Escape 5uncity, and most recently to the Tiki Room and Elton's Dueling Pianos. My new friend gave me a sneak peek and omg, it's a candy wonderland. So many different handmade, handpacked goodness in one building and they ship nationwide. A small taste of El Paso, it's sweet, meltingly decadent, and with so much love. It's what I've come to associate with El Paso. Come check them out and order some goodies for upcoming Valentine's Day. I'm still debating on sharing with hubby but it's a great way to show them that you care to give them handcrafted sweets. If you're in the neighborhood check out any of the above businesses I listed and take your loved one on a sweet adventure as well! Support local and shop local! The world needs a big, hot cocoa bomb right about now! Sprinkle Me Sweets makes awesome hot cocoa…read morebombs! It's my favorite item from them so far. Their cinnamon/dolce flavor bomb tastes great! They use good, fresh quality chocolate. The bomb included hot cocoa powder, marshmallows and cinnamon inside of it. Once it melted, the flavor was amazing! All you have to do is heat up some milk on the stove or in the microwave. After it heats up, you pour the milk over the bomb. The exciting part is when you see it melt right before your eyes. SMS also has a green Mr. Grinch bomb I really want to try! It's made with white chocolate and I'm not sure what else. The bombs come in two sizes. One is $5 and the smaller one is $3.50. I got the smaller size. They have a variety of flavors, even Abuelita chocolate. Aside from the hot cocoa bombs, they also make sugar cookies, do it yourself cookie kits, spicy candy and pickles and chocolate covered strawberries (which are also tasty BTW). They are beautiful to look at, too! A dozen of these make a perfect birthday gift. They offer home delivery at this time for a couple of bucks extra. You can see more of their items on their Facebook page, facebook.com/sprinklemesweets I've also tried their spicy pickle sometime back. It's interesting but I liked it too. It had chili powder and was wrapped in chamoy and a fruit roll up. The pickle was already spicy. Those are $5 each. Definitely check them out! You will get fast and friendly service here. Christi will take good care of you. Let's help her out and get a tasty snack! I'm definitely ordering from SMS again! I'm looking at getting some more cocoa bombs for the upcoming holidays. I especially need that Grinch one in my life!

It really is such a gem tucked away in the city in a very humble and simple outdoor shopping center, but certainly worth stopping by :) ! I had Googled the best souvenir shops close to my hotel and "So El Paso" popped up on my search ! I am so glad I stopped by here because they truly have some of the most thoughtful and meaningful gifts you can give anyone, whether you are a local to the area :) ! Or whether you're like me - a tourist who wants to bring back something thoughtful and meaningful to family and friends back home in CA :) ! I specifically wanted quality souvenirs that are really unique to the area or region :D ! I met the owner and also one of her employees :) ! Both of them were really friendly and warm ! The owner told me that she is originally from El Paso, but had lived in the San Francisco Bay Area for about 20 years before coming back to El Paso :) ! If I had heard correctly, I believe her employee told me that this store has been open since 2020. I purchased some Mexican candied cocoa pecans, some churro cookies, and some margarita powder mixes :D ! I purchased some Mexican spice cocoa pecans, some churro cookies, and some margarita powder mixes :D ! So far, I have only tasted the Mexican spice cocoa pecans, which are delicious :) ! I haven't tried the churro cookies and the margarita mixes yet :) ! But I plan to gift some of these to family and friends :) ! They also have nice holiday gift sets that are beautifully wrapped and ready to gift :D ! When I was shopping there yesterday, there was a customer there who seemed to be ordering in bulk for a group of people :) ! She was carefully choosing items to purchase as she was conversing with the owner :) ! So for sure, these are wonderful items you can gift to individuals or huge groups :D ! I wll definitely be back the next time I visit the west side in El Paso :) ! The owner and her employee really go the extra mile to take care of you and your needs :D !
