TikTok for the win! Candy Cloud was recommended by various creators on TikTok and while in the area I decided to give it a try. I'll admit, I was apprehensive because the video recommendations did not state whether sugar free options were available. I decided to give them a call and it was confirmed that they have 3 sugar free syrups (caramel, white chocolate and vanilla) along with skinny lemonades. GO TIME! Once arriving in the store, I'll be honest, I wasn't blown away by the decor which was kept to a minimum. Not sure why I pictured this place having candy and/or clouds hanging from the ceiling. But I digress...the skinny latte (with a drizzle of caramel - I cheated) made up for it! I'm very picky about my shaken espresso and iced latte drinks but this one was delicious! I will probably add a shot of espresso next time but I was thoroughly satisfied. My drink didn't look as fancy as I've seen on TikTok and other review photos but the taste was great. Also I LOVE the packaging of the drink - the soda theme is great. Service was phenomenal. I'll be back with my children because they love boba and I think they will enjoy it. Kid K loves boba, and this was handy. They have a lot more than boba, if you want something like lemonade, coffee, a milkshake, etc. She got a brown sugar boba and liked it. I saw several things I wanted, but stuck with the root beer float, my favorite. It was different: came in a "can" (plastic with a metal top.) Peeled off the aluminum opening, and it exploded on the table and my shirt. Not cool. The soft-serve was on top, but overly filled and under pressure. Once I cleaned up, it was good-not-great. But plenty fine on a hot day. Prices are decent for what it is. Service is minimal: order at the kiosk. A pleasant place to hang out- small, but a nice variety of seating options. read more

My daughter was very excited to try this place. The line was pretty long when we arrived and it took about 30 minutes to get through the line to order and receive our order. Our group ordered both layered soft serve and coffee drinks. When received, one layered ice cream had the incorrect pop top (the one for drinks) on top. That one had to be remade completely. My Better Than Anything had zero caramel in it. Beyond that, the whole thing was nothing special taste wise. Inside was pretty unkept with so many people coming in and out. Came here for an event and it was a great experience! The staff handled the rush really well and our drinks were delicious! I got the strawberry lemonade with strawberry boba and my husband got the butterfly lavender lemonade with blue raspberry boba. We got both drinks iced and it was so refreshing. Cute little Boba spot close to OSU area. I saw this place on an IG reel and decided to grab a few drinks to go for me and my fam. Upon entering, there was a line 10 people deep. I noticed two self ordering touch screens at the counter and the large lit up menu on the side wall. There were a few tables and chairs and a couple long bench seatings. I decided on the Americano because I'm currently on a no sugar diet. I ordered the Golden Hour Chai for my son and the Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappe for my husband. The touchpad was a a bit confusing to use and the inpatient people in line staring did not help the situation. I kept trying to add the drinks to cart but they wouldn't add because you have to select what milk you want. If you don't, it goes back to the main menu and you have to scroll through everything to find your item again. My Americano was the only thing in my cart after I thought I ordered 3 drinks. I also got so flustered I forgot to add Boba to my son's Chai. The total was under $20 for 3 drinks so not bad. After I ordered I sat on the bench and waited for a good 20 minutes. This place was so busy. It was a nice sunny day and everyone was out and about. The girl finally called my number and apologized for the wait which made it all better. My Americano was ok, I probably should have got hot but my husband and son loved their drinks. The container is clear with their logo but the coolest part that sets them aside from other Boba places is the pull tab lid. It's like opening a can of pop. It keeps the drinks from spilling. My biggest criticism: I got an iced latte with caramel and it was very sweet; the coffee flavor of it almost tasted artificial, like a McDonald's or a Biscuitville trying to do specialty coffee. The drinks are also slightly expensive, closer to what you would expect from an independent, local café. I went to Candy Cloud for the grand opening celebration today! I've been waiting for MONTHS for this. I downloaded the app a few days ago just so I could browse the menu, and it gave me a lot of points to start! I was one of the first 50 customers, so I was also gifted a $10 coupon to use within the next month. The vibes are truly amazing inside, with beautiful lighting and signage. There are two kiosks to order from and then they call your name when your order is ready. I ordered four drinks! I got a large cinnamon roll latte with whole milk, a large Dr. Ube (a Dr Pepper vanilla dirty soda with ube), a large Purple Potion with whole milk and espresso (an ube latte), and a large shaken espresso with whole milk and brown sugar cinnamon drizzle. The drinks are insanely customizable, with different milks, syrups, foams, drizzles, and add ons. They even have a protein milk you can get! Their soft serve creations look amazing as well. Others ordered their food options which include sandwiches, soft pretzels, and cake pops. It all smelled really good. The drinks were absolutely amazing! Personally I could have chosen a better combo of flavors but I have a good hunch their specialties are awesome. Service was just the workers in the back. Order on an iPad and wait. My only gripe with this place was the seating was uncomfortable. High top chairs you slide out of because they are straight metal and a long awkward couch were the only options. I think this café kinda suffers from its own success. I've really enjoyed the coffee every time I've come, but every single time the order has taken at the very least 20 minutes. It's always busy, but I can't help but wonder if that's because of the food/drinks or because the service is so slow that people stack up (probably a bit of both).
