Candies booking team is so wonderful and caring! The Candies team member I texted to coordinate and book Marshal for my nephews bday party made sure to have every detail in order to make the perfect plan to keep the magic alive for the venue. K pop birthday was amazing!! Saturday June 21st in Surprise, Az. Mira and Rumi did an amazing job. They were in character the whole time. They interacted with all the kids so well, especially the birthday girl. They brought her a birthday present (friendship bracelets and a poster) they danced, applied water tattoos and played a really fun game of dressing up. Thanks ladies for making Harlee's 4th birthday so memorable. read more

I cannot express how impressed I am by the service I received by Courtney. She was incredibly kind with a room full of curious toddlers but also fulfilled her role as Mickey Mouse so well. Courtney, while dressed up, had the entire building excited to see her - really performing as if she was Mickey. Not only that, but she made sure to focus mostly on the birthday boy. He felt so special! read more

Candies' Characters - Bluey and grandma and the kids - Face Painting Near Me

The Lyon's Gate HOA hired them for face painting and the artist was amazing. She did a great job with the face paint but what really impressed me was how she interacted with my 5 yr old son. She talked with him the entire time and didn't make us feel rushed even though she had a long line. Great Job! read more

We love Candie's Characters! We had Marshall at my daughter's birthday party. And he was a big hit. He did a great job interacting with the kids and being silly. We have also been to several events where Candie's characters was doing face painting and had characters. The face painting was adorable and a big hit! There is a big selection of characters to choose from, popular and not so popular. Plus there are mermaids for pool parties which are great for our hot Arizona summer birthday parties! They offer games, face painting and balloon twisting as well. Their prices are lower than most of the other companies, especially for how much they offer! And they travel all over the valley! I highly recommend them!! read more

They do a great job. I've used them twice. Both had amazing costumes and played multiple games with the kids. They even brought the games to play with the kids. I'll definitely use them again. read more

Candie was absolutely fantastic at my daughter's birthday party! She portrayed Cinderella flawlessly and her face painting skills were incredible. The kids were thrilled with the results and had a magical time. Candie was professional, punctual, and a joy to work with. I can't recommend her enough for any special event. She has a genuine gift for making children's dreams come true. On top of that, she is very fairly priced compared to other competitors. read more

Bumblebee was great for my sons bday party! Arrived on time and provided an hour of fun games for the kiddos! Highly recommend

I AM LEAVING THIS REVIEW ON YELP BECAUSE THE REVIEWS FROM FACEBOOK WERE TURNED OFF. VERY SLY AND SNEAKY. THERE ARE MANY PLACES WE CAN GO TO PUT THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY ON BLAST. NEXT STOP IS BBB. There are many quality character companies to choose from in the valley. This is NOT one of them. They arrived late. The face painting was mediocre, at best. For the cost of their services, it was not worth it ($265 for 1.5 hours). I expected something much more professional. They were unable to paint many of the children's requests. The characters of Minnie and Mickey were not authentic and the interaction with the children was not genuine. Unfortunately, I would not go with this company if planning a children's party. read more

They went above and beyond for my son's birthday! I couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Spider-Man made the birthday boy the happiest ever. First thing my son did was give him a huge hug (one of those moments I wish I had a camera on me) and then Spider-Man played with the kids for a majority of the time he was here. He focused and spent time with the birthday boy, which was super sweet and made my sons day extra special...all he spoke about was Spider-Man after the party. Thank you for making this day so special. read more

We had a great experience with Candie's. Belle was great with the kids, did more than we could have expected and their price was reasonable. We will definitely be calling back if another Princess Party is in the works. Thanks! read more

Candie of Candie's Characters is a miracle worker! We planned a last minute party for my nephew and wanted to really make it special for him by bringing his favorite character from Paw Patrol. With only a week or so notice, Candie was able to make it happen! Ryder showed up, and made his day! Completely affordable, and professional. They cater to whatever type of party you need. Even when you're in a time crunch! Candie's Characters is the way to go! read more

Not professional at all and borderline being extremely rude. Attempted to Call on several occasions but voicemail was full. Finally texted for a price quote for a children's holiday event for 2 hours for 5 characters. After 24 hours received a text that only said "Not interested". When I asked what they meant there has never been a response. There is a much better way of treating customers. If you are booked or do not have the characters I would understand but a rude comment followed by being ignored is not acceptable. read more

Ariel surprised my daughter at her 4th birthday party. She was AMAZING with the kiddos and made everyone feel so special. Hours later and my daughter is still talking about her time w/ Ariel. I would like to mirror lynns review as my experience was the same. After several calls and texts i got the reply of 'not interested' when trying to book a princess for my daughtere birthday party. I agree from a business standpoint that is unacceptable as a response. If you don't have availability for one character for one hour a month out maybe take down your website. read more

Candies Characters performance at our daughters graduation reception event was outstanding! Every request we discussed and hoped for was met and with a smile. Stella and her husband were our performers as Darth Vader and a Stormtrooper, they nailed it flawlessly. Their professionalism, promptness and dedication to their craft was much appreciated. Our guests were amazed and blown away from their entrance and performance. We utilized their performance skills, guests photography professionalism and face painting opportunity for our guests entertainment. We would recommend their services and will be utilizing them for our future events. I just had Elsa out for my 2 yo' birthday party. Candice was amazing!! She was great with the little kids and super sweet to everyone. She did face (or arm for nervous kids) painting, sang and even brought my daughter a nice gift for her birthday! I really cannot say enough about her and I hope my daughter wants another princess (or superhero) party in the future so I can hire them again!! Price was lower than I expected to so very happy all around. read more

Candie's customer service is great, she is quick to respond, understood where I was coming from and issued a fair refund. My complaint was I rented Ryder, he did balloon animals.. could maybe make 3 different ones and had no idea. He didn't entertain the kids, I felt like I had to give him things to do. I'm not happy with those services and he was 15 minutes late. I also asked him to go along with my daughter giving her Pacis in a box. All he had to do was take them and he forgot them! We have had this planned.. all he had to do was walk out and put them in a trash can??? But he left them so my daughter was so upset! I'm not happy with my services and it didn't seem worth the money. read more

Rapunzel and Belle attended my daughter's 4th birthday party last year and needless to say we booked Sleeping Beauty for her upcoming 5th birthday party! If no stars or even negative stars were an option, that's what I would select. My company hired Candie's Characters for our annual Halloween Open House on Sat. Oct. 26th, one of our biggest community events of the year. We hired 4 costumed characters + a face painter for 3 hours. Candie the owner confirmed on Oct. 8th that she would send Ariel, Wonder Woman, Batman & Captain America + a Face Painter for our event. We promoted the event heavily on social media and got a great response. The day before our event, I e-mailed & texted her to double confirm that the characters would be there the next day. Never got a response from her. I called her cell phone (the number you see on her webpage) and it went straight to voicemail, but the mailbox was full so I could not leave a message (I told her the voicemail box was full back on Oct. 8th). Long story short, no one showed up & she never EVER responded to my ever more frantic pleas for confirmation that her "characters" were coming. People started to line up around 9:30. Cute little kids in costumes, excited parents waiting with anticipation. We eventually had to tell them all that the characters weren't coming, it was horrible. When she finally responded via text at 12:45 pm, almost 3 hours after our event began, she said & I quote, "Find someone else, sheesh." No excuses, and certainly no apologies. She primarily does kids parties and I say folks beware don't subject your kids to this potential for major disappointment. unprofessional, unreliable & unrepentant. I don't know how she stays in business. Stay away! read more

My daughters 4th birthday party was a huge success! Our experience with Candies Characters was wonderful. We booked for Rapunzel and Mother Gothel, (her mom) to come to a small group of 6 girls have a special princess experience. They painted nails, made balloons, face painting, sang songs, played games and wrapped up the with standing by my birthday girl to sing her happy birthday! I was beyond thrilled with the interaction the ladies had with not only my daughter but all the girls! I would recommend Candies Characters to all; they are exactly what your party experience needs! read more
