chips and salsa
Edward P.

We actually just came here to sit at the bar and have a beer but I ended up getting some tacos as well. Im an easy going guy so I take just about any situation in stride for the most part. So we sat at the bar and I realized immediately that the bar is about six or seven inches too high. While sitting in the chair, the bar was chest level. Very awkward. The server immediately brought out chips and salsa which was nice because the chips were warm and the salsa was pretty good. I ordered Al Pastor Tacos. It almost blew my mind when the waiter asked me if I wanted corn or flour tortillas. Al Pastor Tacos on flour tortillas? Seriously? Maybe people around here prefer them that way and they adapt to local tastes. They brought out four tacos and a side of beans and rice. The tacos were just ok and by that I mean they were edible. I didn't taste that deliciousness you normally get from pastor marinade. Also, no pineapple on the taco. This was the first time in my life I didn't eat every taco on a plate in front of me. Beans and rice were nothing special. I had to get out of this place when the server asked me if everything was good for the tenth time. I'm not kidding. 10 times. We were only there 35 or 40 minutes. Seriously, let me eat these crappy tacos in peace. Once or twice is ok but ten times? Uggggh.

Food was hot and good. However, service was terrible and they were not busy. Servers were sitting in booths watching TV. No one checked on us or anything.

The food and service was good. We disappointed that they advertise margaritas but they only have beer wine. We really wanted margaritas! The salsa and chips were good!

As we drove from North Florida to New Orleans, we got off an exit to find lunch. This place was POPPIN'. Many cars and people so we decided it must be good! I have a lunch special for like $7 that had so many flavors and textures. I had S.P.#15, chimichanga with chicken, beans and rice. I've never had one, it was incredible. Wayyyy too big but for the price, so worth it! The service was great, Rosie was our waiter-she suggested I eat that meal as it was the most common ordered meal for lunch. GREAT CHOICE. Bathrooms were pretty clean too. Definitely recommend this place

A small town with a big taste for good Mexican food.

This is one the best Mexican restaurants I have visited. My family and I stopped for lunch while traveling through the town. The lunch specials will not disappoint. The prices are very reasonable, and the portions are huge. Everything appeared to be made from fresh ingredients. Even the pink lemonade was made from real lemons...no Minute Maid fountain drink here. Our server was nice, but he did not have a good understanding of English. He had difficulty understanding a couple of my questions so I just picked other items since he couldn't answer me.

We saw a billboard off the highway for this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. Location is a little unsuspecting because it is dark and next to a dollar tree, but the interior is quite large and well decorated. We were seated right away, and the server gave us chips and salsa immediately. The chips were nice and fresh and warm, and the salsa was fantastic. ServerO is great. He gave us good recommendations and said that everything that has a hat on the menu is usually their most popular. As for the food, we ordered the fajitas mix. I had chicken, beef, and shrimp for two. It is about $27 and came with a lot of food. Definitely not for two, maybe even three. The rice plate came with rice, beans, avocado, as well as two sets of tortillas, which is about three each. It came in a serving plate and was overall pretty good. Would recommend getting again for the amount of food and the taste. We also ordered the torta. Unfortunately, for this one, it wasn't that great. The torta is just a sandwich, pretty much, with whatever kind of meat you have inside and some tomatoes and lettuce. We got the carne asada, but it was super dry and chewy. Would not recommend the carne asada and the torta. This one was about $13, I believe. In total, it was around 55 with tax and tip for a party of 4, so it was actually pretty well priced. We left pretty full, so I would recommend, but wouldn't say it was the best food we have had but good enough for us on the road drive back.

The food is extremely cheap especially considering the economy but the quality is not compromised. Tacos are $2. The most expensive item is $14.00. My least fave was the chicken taco...the meat was way too dry but everything else was delicious! My fave was the ceviche tostada. The mango ice cream was also refreshing. Things to note: They cater to the Spanish speaking population but there are English speakers. It's Cash Only! It is very casual. Not really ideal for dining in. There are 3 tables. Everything is made in house!

It looked desolate and there was no one inside when I entered. Soon, a young lady came out of the back. I chose a pack of frozen white corn tortillas. There were also some amazing looking warm pastries and I bought a couple of them. I had a turnover that was pineapple and some curled pastry that was also pineapple. I used the tortillas for dinner the next evening and they were delicious! I'll be going back to Quincy to pick up more tortillas and pastries. Then have lunch at Las Delisious and visit the meat market next door.
