Towards the end, it was a party with them, it was such a great way to end my trip. The vibes were WONDERFUL. During the experience, we had freshly made ceviche and burgers. They were also accommodating with my dairy allergy and the drinks they made were fantastic! I appreciated the crew prioritizing safety while keeping the environment exciting and fun. I loved it! Lola took AMAZING photos of our entire experience. Jesus got photos of my friends and I snorkeling and some fishes that we saw. It was beautiful! The weather for this excursion prevented us from going snorkeling, so they just let us cruise in the fast boats for 2 hours thru the marinas, bays, shorelines and mangroves of Cancun. So much fun. Alex our guide did a great job, even though one of our boats in the party suffered a propeller malfunction, they replaced the boat quickly and made up our downtime. Great time, and will do it again.

The boat came equipped with clean restrooms, great snacks, and the staff kept the drinks flowing. If I could have done it again, I would not have personally done the snorkeling, as the waters were pretty challenging (even with a life vest) and not much marine life could be seen. We were lead in the water by our guide, but went pretty far... Despite our crew giving instructions to signal for assistance when needed in the water, our crew completely forgot all instructions when I actually needed help. Instead of coming to rescue when I signaled for help, they waved back at me... could have met my maker, but here I am, living to fight another day.

Our private transportation got us here a bit early so we walked around and took some photos of this beautiful marina and ocean. They even had a massage parlor on the little beach. We were there in the afternoon so most people were already out at sea. There was barely any other people at the marina and it was so nice & quiet which is always what I prefer. I recommend book a tour here whenever you visit Cancun. Caribbean Sea is so beautiful and snorkeling gets you to tour the reefs and tropical fish even underground museum. Or just some sailing at sea is relaxing enough to have a very good time for a couple hours or even a day!

This included: cruise to snorkel area, snorkel equipment, 20 min of snorkeling, cruise to the island mujeres, golf cart rental on the island for a hour or so, and cruise back to the dock WITH lunch and unlimited booze. The lunch was great and they give you decent portion sizes with appetizers. There was great music, wonderful entertaining staff, and fun guests on board. The snorkeling part is very average and the reef area they show has pretty much all died unfortunately. If you've never ever snorkeled before I guess it's okayish. There's also a fun water slide and diving board. The total tour is about 7 hours from start to finish. I originally found this activity on TripAdvisor and it had great reviews. Here's the weird part - on TA it says "a tour of the ruins is included". It never happened. I'm not sure if they advertised wrong on there or what but we were kinda bummed about missing that. Overall great activity and I will definitely be back next time we're in the area. TIP: there's an additional $14 USD "port fee" that has to be paid CASH ONLY when you check in. This is great for all ages and group sizes. They make you take everything off the boat when you leave to tour the island so bring a small bag or back pack. Dry change of clothes was nice to have too.

Keep in mind these are only here in season…read more (Starting around June 1st - September 15th) The downside to coming to Mexico to swim with the Whale Sharks is you have to wear those ridiculous life vests, but in Isla Mujeres it's almost a guaranteed sighting. Due to government regulations no free diving . The life vest makes it seem like more of a tourist trap than pelagic adventures in other countries. Still a great experience to be in the water with such magical creatures.

Once a whale shark was spotted, the captain dropped us in the water, perfectly positioned to see the whale shark. Once we returned, we stopped at Playa Norte (some the prettiest water I have ever seen in my life) and they made some fresh ceviche for everyone on board. It was a little on the pricey side, but overall it was an enjoyable time. We had to reschedule the first date we chose because it was windy and pouring down rain. The second date was perfect weather. We were picked up at the resort and driven quite far to a smaller marina in north Cancun. The boat was older and pretty basic. We did like the fact that it was a smaller group - maybe 20 total people. We stopped half way to Isla Mujeres and snorkeled for 15-20 minutes. We saw quite a few fish and a manta ray. When we got back on the boat, we were handed a paper bag with an apple and either a chicken burrito or a ham and cheese sandwich. No chips or anything. Drinks were included and while they were pretty tasty, there could not have been much alcohol in them. We decided to walk and shop on Isla Mujeres, checked out the beautiful beach with clear water, then sat at a restaurant on the beach to wait for the return trip. Three hours was too long for us on the island, but I guess if you rented a golf cart or taxi, it might have been fine. Overall, we felt it was priced a little high for the overall experience. But we did enjoy ourselves, nonetheless.

For 90 pesos ( roughly $4 USD) you get your choice of eggs, meat, OJ, coffee. That's a serious bargain. I mixed it up and got scrambled eggs with chorizo and got Grapefruit instead of OJ and opted out of coffee since it was already so hot outside. They also provide delicious tortillas. Totally worth every penny and more! Back home a basic breakfast like this would have run me close to $17, so it was nice to get a break for breakfast not costing you as much as other meals.
