It was interesting to find that the alcohol laws are so different here in New York. But I love a (practically) beer only store! Because you know what isn't allowed in CA?? Filling growlers anywhere except a brewery tap room! And even some tap room locations don't have the right permits to fill your growlers. We love the rotating beers. That's how I discovered Sour Monkey by Victory...and fell in love. As far as customer service and prices, we've never had an issue. They did accidentally charge my husband for a six pack of Coke when it was supposed to be a single can. There was one vendor giving samples of a vodka drink, which was pretty nice. You moved from table to table, and you could sample one wine, or as many as you wished from each vendor. Some of the vendors exclusively worked for that brand of wine. Other vendors worked for Global and we're giving samples of different wine labels. The staff will let you browse, but there's always someone to ask questions if in case you have some inquiry. The selection is vast. And the labeling of the products by region of the world where wine comes from is helpful. Global is A+ !! lots of sales. And you can sign up for emails at the cash register. And they always gives you extra receipt, for mail in rebates, if there are any.
