They were able to stitch a hat band that was meant for a felt hat onto a straw hat...which might not sound like much, but try finding anyplace that will take the time and has the experience to do any repairs to hats. Out of all the dollar stores in verdun I would consider this one the main one that has the most traffic and has the biggest selection on decorations for the holidays. The line ups can get pretty long around 15-20 ppl standing in line long. They constantly have people coming and going off the cash registers which I find strange but at least the cashiers jump between cashes so they can two customers at once. I find this locations to always have their decorations out before the others so if you're like me and can't wait for the holidays than let it be known that the store is packed with Xmas decorations.

The context of my visit was Saturday mid afternoon and non-essential products were still off limits for purchasing. This place is so spacious and sparsely occupied by shoppers. It felt almost "empty" by Costco standards. When it was time to pay, I just strolled up to the checkout. Most had only one customer in line or in process of checking out. For a stress free bulk shopping experience, this is the place to be!
