That being said, and my government gripe aside, I used to deal with the previous owners (also Korean), and found them very pleasant, easy to communicate with, etc. Not only were they far more efficient, they also had a far better grasp on the English language. They would also answer their phone when it rang. I guarantee no matter what time you try to call the present owners, they won't answer. Also, very standoffish and rude. Get home and neither one was the one I wanted. So I called in to complain, filled out a lost shipment form, and made a complaint. So that was yesterday at about 1530. Today, Oct 25, 2023 I received a phone call from Kathy/Cathy at Canada Post. She was VERY kind, and professional and told me that because there had been 3 packages delivered I had two keys in my mailbox to open bigger compartments. Oh. I thought I had two keys for the two packages and didn't even look!! OMG I am so embarrassed!! And Cathy/Kathy explained and to her credit she did NOT call me an idiot even though she should have. Canada Post is amazing. I am properly humbled and so very sorry.

If you go ahead & print that return label yourself, they will not provide anything to fasten the return label to the package with. The people who work at this branch however, are fantastic! I'm one of those guys that likes to online shop. Like, A LOT. But, since I'm usually out and about during the day (working, volunteering, or Yelping ;-) ), I'm usually never home when the mail delivery person shows up, meaning that I often have to go to the post office to pick things up (which kind of defeats the purpose of home delivery, in my opinion, but what can you do?). Since this is the outlet designated to me (as I live in the area), I'm often here at least once every week or two. It's gotten to the point where I just have to stand in line and as soon as the staff see me, they know I'm probably there for a pick-up, and most likely for multiple packages at a time. I have received nothing but great service here. It's gotten to the point where I've arrived so often to pick up things that the various staff now know me by name, but even before then, the staff working here were always courteous to me and others. This is a stand-alone (i.e. not built within a store) branch located within Marlbourough Mall, and their hours are Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. While I'm happy that they have service on the weekend, my only complaint is that they shut down at 5:30 during weekdays. Due to work and other volunteer commitments elsewhere in the city, sometimes I just can't make it back in time for the cutoff, yet the mall is usually open until 9 p.m. I really wish they'd close at 7 or 7:30 p.m. or ideally, at mall close as well. But that's really my only beef with the place. It's a government run facility after all, and they may not have much of a choice. It may be a weird establishment to write a review on, but if you live in the area or need access to some kind of mail service through Canada Post, this is a great outlet to use.

Fast forward to today, in the era of Trump tariffs and the end of De Minimis. You might as well throw your shipments into a dumpster - they will have as much likelihood of reaching their destination as handing them off to DYK would do. There are several other cross border services like Chit Chats, Stallion, etc. That all offer far better service than DYK. DYK may be a bit cheaper, but if your shipments don't arrive to your customers, what is the point of saving a couple of dollars?
