This is my closest post office to home. It's in the Shoppers Drug Mart In the north east corner of…read morethe store (used to be south east before the renos). It's an average post office. This outlet is tiny and doesn't offer a lot of packaging options but has a small sampling. Unlike other larger outlets, there isn't really an area that isn't "in line" where you can assemble your parcel or write on it etc without being in the way. So my advice would be to come prepared. Parking wise, weekday evenings are the best time to pick up a parcel so you can park outside the doors. Otherwise you are walking more into the Safeway parking area, dodging cars etc. Especially important if you are picking up a larger item. I rarely find a line up here of more than 1-2 people. Which is good because the staff don't move very fast. They are polite at best but no one is overly friendly or seems to care about the customer. Around Christmas they understandable get extra stressed and have no sense of humour so don't try joking with them (I've tried). One thing to note: A few Christmases now they've told em I don't have enough time to "regular parcel mail" gifts before Christmas and have told me to pay to guarantee delivery. In all cases, the regular parcels I sent got there at the same time as the ones I paid extra for. Of course there are no guarantees but if you are willing to take a chance, you can save a lot of money, especially if you are sending to another major city. They do have some neat collectible stamps available for purchase and boxes for shipping smart phones etc which I haven't seen at some other post offices. That is handy to know!

Usually, you hear horror stories about people working at the Post Office. They're rude to…read morecustomers, provide bad service, etc. Granted, many postal workers may be overworked, but that's still no excuse for bad customer service, in any industry. The people who work at this branch however, are fantastic! I'm one of those guys that likes to online shop. Like, A LOT. But, since I'm usually out and about during the day (working, volunteering, or Yelping ;-) ), I'm usually never home when the mail delivery person shows up, meaning that I often have to go to the post office to pick things up (which kind of defeats the purpose of home delivery, in my opinion, but what can you do?). Since this is the outlet designated to me (as I live in the area), I'm often here at least once every week or two. It's gotten to the point where I just have to stand in line and as soon as the staff see me, they know I'm probably there for a pick-up, and most likely for multiple packages at a time. I have received nothing but great service here. It's gotten to the point where I've arrived so often to pick up things that the various staff now know me by name, but even before then, the staff working here were always courteous to me and others. This is a stand-alone (i.e. not built within a store) branch located within Marlbourough Mall, and their hours are Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. While I'm happy that they have service on the weekend, my only complaint is that they shut down at 5:30 during weekdays. Due to work and other volunteer commitments elsewhere in the city, sometimes I just can't make it back in time for the cutoff, yet the mall is usually open until 9 p.m. I really wish they'd close at 7 or 7:30 p.m. or ideally, at mall close as well. But that's really my only beef with the place. It's a government run facility after all, and they may not have much of a choice. It may be a weird establishment to write a review on, but if you live in the area or need access to some kind of mail service through Canada Post, this is a great outlet to use.

Many. Many. Times. Im not sure if your work load is to high, or if the staff simply has no genuine care about the well being of the customers money spent to insure purchased goods arrive either within a reasonable time after you begin processing or AT LEAST have enough care to update the expected delivery date or status of the package once it becomes stuck in the Calgary location to avoid any cluelessness in the customer or dent the reputation of the company further. The ONLY time my package takes longer then 3-5 business days is if it happens to become trapped in the slowness of Calgary Canada Post.

I guess we have Moya Greene to thank for this. You screwed this country's postal service up royally. Now you're doing the same thing with the UK's Royal Mail as well it seems. That being said, and my government gripe aside, I used to deal with the previous owners (also Korean), and found them very pleasant, easy to communicate with, etc. Not only were they far more efficient, they also had a far better grasp on the English language. They would also answer their phone when it rang. I guarantee no matter what time you try to call the present owners, they won't answer. Also, very standoffish and rude. I'll try to have my mail re-directed to one of the other three post offices nearby.

I have never had good service. Get the ticket on my door. Says to pick up after 1pm the next day. It has not shown up. End up waiting in a line up for 30 minutes and more all the time. Way at a waste of time. Then you call to find out if you package it there. No answer. They are rude. No sense of urgency. Always an excuse. Only one person ever there. All and all. Extremely poor in every avenue. Why have they not fired these people?

The line is never less then 30 minute wait.. iv even seen people get annoyed and leave. Dont bother trying to call them to see if your package is there because you have a better chance of getting thru to the radio station during a contest. I waited on hold for about 30 minutes before i hung up and tried again. The second time i called I talked to someone in customer service, she said there was "40 people in line" and thats why my call was not being answered. The manager needs to hire more people or i need to move.
