This is hands down my favourite clinic for non-invasive cosmetic treatments and services! I've been going here for years for chemical peels and laser hair removal treatments. All I can say is not only are the services they offer amazing, but the care with which they treat their clients is top notch! I've never felt forced to buy additional services like I have at other clinics in the past. Everyone from the front desk receptionist to all the aestheticians have been friendly and just overall great. In particular, I've been seeing Mabel and she's never let me down; she's THE BEST! She really knows her stuff, is personable, funny and has always been honest with me with which treatments she recommends for my skin type. I've even recommended my sister to Canada MedLaser after the amazing results I saw with my laser hair removal, and she too has been a client for a few years now and also does laser hair removal with Mabel. Although their services aren't cheap, you really get what you pay for. They often have promotions so that's always something to look out for. Laser treatment resulted in second degree burn and permanent scarring on my face. Following the treatment, it was not immediately apparent that anything was wrong, and I was given a cream that I was told would help prevent blisters. So when the area began to blister that night, I assumed it was a normal part of the process. It was only when the skin started to heal that I noticed a scar was developing, and it was at this point that I contacted Canada MedLaser with my concerns. I met with the clinic director, who asked if I had followed all their pre- and post-treatment care instructions, which I had. I then had an appointment with the clinic's own doctor who, after examining me, determined that the burn was likely due to the aesthetician using laser settings that were too high. I asked for a refund three times, and ten months after I first asked, was finally told that they "don't offer refunds beyond 10 days of the purchase date", and they would not issue me a refund despite the "fault on our part". Canada MedLaser shows a shocking disregard for client safety and well-being. read more

Both reception staff and laser techs have always been friendly, kind and professional. As a fairly visible member of the LGBTQ+ community, I've never felt unwelcome by the staff. Re. Microneedling. Had the worst experience of my life and I'm still paying for it with spots on my forehead that are raised, discolored and itchy after 3 months. Basically someone new did my micro needling, used 1mm (which is MAX length for forehead) on my first session after many years. After it hurt and it bled a lot she LEFT the room a couple of times as she could not take the blood (unsanitary, bad process). Another esthetician came in and basically quickly scrapped the rest of my face, wiped the blood all over my raw face and told me to sleep with it (NOT normal procedure). It took a week for me to be able to go back in to work and I still have raised inflamed forehead spots where it bled the most. I have complained multiple times for a refund (which is the least they can do) and while they acknowledge the bad experience they felt it was worth keeping my money. Do yourself a favour and go to a clinic run by a dermatologist. This is your FACE. read more

Laser hair removal has changed my life. Worth every. Single. Cent. It has saved me time in the shower, money on razor blades... waxing but first and foremost, the EMBARRASSMENT. As someone of Italian and Greek decent I am H-A-I-R-Y. Throughout the last year I have been going to Canada Med Laser where I've treated almost every major area on my body. I've done my upper lip, arms, underarms, Brazilian, stomach, legs and toes. I've completed around 6-8 sessions on most of these areas and the difference is unbelievable. Under my arms you would never even believe a single hair ever grew. The clinic is BRAND NEW, super clean, hygienic and conveniently located. Most of the staff have been pleasant (with the exception of one who is no longer there) and made me feel comfortable despite uncomfortable situations (zapping hair from your bikini area). The laser technicians are not very experienced. I paid a lot of $$$ to have laser hair removal done on a large area and the hair didn't shed after the session as per usual. I usually enjoy a full month of being hair free after treatment but this wasn't the case. My guess is the technician didn't use the right intensity for my hair type. Cool Sculpting October 2018 Procedure at the Vaughan Location was performed within the time allocated and I was treated in a professional courteous manner. I exercise daily and eat a clean diet, no alcohol and do not smoke. I am within my target weight 5'6 and 135lbs. I understood the Risks and expected outcome prior to my session. The affected area was the Lower Abdomen and 4 quadrants or paddles were required. After 6 weeks there has been absolutely no change to my lower abdomen. I followed the post op instructions to the letter. Very disappointed with the $2000 paid for a procedure that was very painful and No Results. Please save your money and stick to a healthy diet, regular exercise and be happy with the body your have. DO NOT Recommend Cool Sculpting. Update Dec 28, 2018 After 9 weeks there is no change to the treated areas. I exercise regularly - run outodoors 5x week, weight training and yoga at the gym. Follow a clean diet. I planned cool sculpting prior to my February Vacation and in 6 weeks i'll be on a beach trying to hide. The Before and After pictures are very deceptive, no way can a clearly overweight individual utilize cool sculpting and expect a svelte figure. DO NOT GO THERE! Stay away! Horrible experience! I would have given them -100 if I could but I had to rate. After having an initial consultation with Marija, which was very promising and nice I got a package from her for a special price. I mentioned that I have never done any treatment and I'm very sensitive to pain. She promised she would be very gentle and the only one who does the laser removal for me. For my first appointment, they made an excuse and asked me to have the treatment with Mable. I noticed they were not organized, mixed my file with someone else and asked me to sign someone else's contract. I had to explain about the deal that I had with Marija and the services I wanted for almost 15 min. Finally, she agreed and I had the WORST experience ever... She was in rush to get to her own client, not nice and she didn't even give me a break and I wassss in PAINNNN. She pushed my legs to the table and it felt so uncomfortable. It was like someone forcing you to do something. Laser treatment being painful and having it with all this bad experience make it even more horrible. I told Marija about my experience and asked her to be my technician for the next time or I wouldn't want it at all. Went for my 2nd appointment to find out Marija was injured and I had to get the treatment with Mable again. I was very hesitant but I believe in second chances and told her to be a bit considerate this time then SHE BURNED ME! There were red patched all over the area I had laser treatment. Call them right away and sent them some pictures! They told me to wait for their call back which never happened. Saw my doctor and got treatment for the burn. I called again and I was so disappointed and upset about the whole thing. Sent them emails complaining and they only replied after a few weeks. I asked for a refund and they said I have to go back and get a new treatment with Marija and no refund. I called to talk to their manager and speak with Marija who was very rude and hung up on me. Called the other location the girl was very nice and promised to talk to the manager and have them call me back. Haven't heard for almost 3 months. Talked to my lawyer and was so ready to take them to the court. Went back there to get my contract, talked to Margarita and saw my file and they clearly wrote "Burn on my 2nd visit", asked them to make a copy and they refused. I waited more than an hour to talk to the owner and he pretended he has no idea what is going on in that place. After a long day arguing with them and give them the choice to either refund me or see me in the court they accepted the first option. To this day I still see discolouration on my skin. Great experience with the friendly/helpful staff and with treatments as well. The staff are professional, enjoyable to work with and easy going when it comes to changed appointments. I have had both laser hair removal and laser for pigment (age spots) on my face. This place is great, Margarita did my chemical peel. I was relaxed and comfortable the entire time. My face feels AMAZING. It was followed by a soothing mask.
