Unfortunately, they were unwilling to 'match' another well-known (Manitoba) company's price for silver bars, but I don't hold that against them at all, since precious metals are usually a low-margin business. The only thing preventing me from assigning them a 'Five Star' rating is the fact that they initially messed-up on shipping. I had specifically asked that they use Canada Post, however, they decided to employ Purolator, which resulted in my package being returned, undelivered, to Alberta, then re-shipped to my home prefecture of Ontario - a ~ 6,000 km. From what I saw it is a good thing they changed their name because I didn't see any advantages of buying anything in their pawn shop except for maybe DVD's at 3 bucks. Although the store is extremely well laid out and super clean, I found tons of stuff to be overpriced and in not so good condition. I think a person would find better deals on Kijiji and Craigslist and items that are in much better condition. The folks there are extremely friendly however and there were a lots of people browsing through the store or perhaps waiting to pawn things. This is not my top pick for a Pawn shop in Calgary but perhaps they buy things at top dollar.
