The second time I needed a new part and they gave me the right one. My friend who was helping me thought they got it wrong and had me go back to exchange it. After realizing the first part was the right one, I went back again. Each time the service was fast, courteous and helpful. Lastly, i was having battery problems. My car had needed a boost a few times in a week. Suspecting the alternator was ok, and the battery was the issue, they happily did a battery test right there for me and had the right size battery immediately available, with a couple of options for pricing choice. I've had nothing but good experiences with Napa, and will definitely return.

No big deal, I can wait a day or two. Part shows up and it turns out that this guy ordered me the wrong part, which in any other case is no big deal and I'll return it and find the right part. Well I try and return it and THE SAME GUY says he can't return it because he doesn't recognize the box (the box I got it from them in). No talking with a manager, no cross referencing to see I'm telling the truth, just basically told me "anyone could've thrown this part in this box, I'm not returning it for you". Disappointing Experience with Poor Transparency, Inspection, and Safety Oversights…read moreMy first review was based off excitement and a smooth buying process until ... ... I recently purchased a truck from this dealership, and my experience has been incredibly frustrating. The truck was supposedly subjected to a "full 180-point inspection," covering critical components like the engine, transmission, suspension, and exhaust system. However, shortly after purchase, I noticed significant transmission issues, including harsh shifting, which should have been caught during this inspection. I was later advised that the issue stems from engine oil leaks caused by the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that's well-known with this model. These issues should have been identified before selling me the truck. To make matters worse, I was never informed about the low tire tread (4/32), and now I've been advised I need new tires soon. The dealership should have flagged this during their supposed "full inspection." Additionally, my husband was double-charged $6,000 for an extended warranty on his truck, and it took us weeks to get a hold of anyone at the dealership to resolve the issue. It was an incredibly stressful process that shouldn't have happened. But the most concerning part? His truck also had a loose steering wheel, a safety hazard that almost caused a serious accident on the highway. This issue was never flagged during the supposed inspection either. After hearing about the truck's "thorough inspection," it's hard to believe no one noticed these major safety issues. To add to my frustration, I took my truck to another dealership for maintenance and was informed that I need to consent to a transmission overhaul just to have techs take pictures of the transmission when it's taken apart and send them to the warranty provider for approval of the repair cost. If the repair cost is not approved, I'll still be left with a $1,900 bill just to put the transmission back together. If the overhaul is not approved, I'll face a $10,000 cost for the transmission repair, despite the issue stemming from the VCT solenoid seals, a problem that should have been caught in the inspection. I feel deceived, especially considering the dealership assured us that the trucks had undergone thorough inspections. These problems, especially the safety hazard in my husband's truck and the transmission issue in mine, should have been identified and addressed before selling us these vehicles. We trusted this dealership to be upfront and transparent, but instead, we've been left dealing with costly repairs and severe safety concerns. For a dealership that claims to provide quality inspections, the oversight of such major issues is inexcusable.

Yesterday I had the most terrifying experience of my life!!…read moreI went to pick up my trailer for storage to bring home for the night for camping this weekend as I have done since I bought it a year ago.. everything went right but something was very wrong.. 10 Minutes down the road on a country road in Airdrie with no shoulder and all of a sudden the trailer slams down on the ground as I'm going 90 and starts bouncing back and forth only attached by one cable as the cable was sheared, the emergency brake line pulled to lock the trailer breaks and the metal was dragging on the ground shooting sparks thru the air!! All while I try to slow down my vehicle and the trailer and stop without rolling either into the ditch as the was NO shoulder to pull over! I decided to try to call Racetrack RV where I bought it a year ago to ask their suggestion as to how I can move it now before I called a tow truck.. I was frantic! The receptionist who answered said no problem I'm going to transfer you to someone who can help.. The guy on the phone said no problem where are you I'm on my way!!Keep in mind I didn't just buy it.. it was in May 2017!! But after sitting terrified on the road , in the pouring rain not able to move I see the Racetrack truck pull up and feel so relieved!! I walk back to greet him and it's the owner!!! He gets down on the ground replaces the line so I am able to unlock and drive then says " ok now let's drive it to my service lot and I'll follow so you know you're safe" The Service business lot was closed for the day so he unlocks, drives me in, takes the trailer off my vehicle and as I'm thanking him over and over I ask when it can be fixed..he says " oh you're still camping this weekend this is our first service to be completed tomorrow " Now that is Customer Service..Talk about going above and beyond!!!! I love supporting companies who truly care about people!!

(I added the parts & service department as a separate company since they are in different locations…read moreand operate differently) So far so good! I've dealt with several people in parts & service since I bought my trailer at the RV show in February 2016. The latest was Shawn and I gotta say, so far he's been great to deal with. He was very accommodating by coming in on his day off so I could pick up my unit that was in for some warranty work and accident repair. He was helpful and thoroughly explained everything that was done. He has a genuine concern that the customers he looks after are happy with the service they've been given and that they will feel comfortable coming back should they need service in the future. My trailer was cleaned and ready to go when we arrived to pick it up. They also did a few minor services, like inspect the roof and tire pressure. These little things mean a lot to a customer. I've emailed the parts department several times and always got a response in a very timely manner. I will never recommend the Racetrack business team that I had the misfortune of dealing with (Matt & Josh) but I will absolutely recommend their parts and service staff, their sales staff and Ken, the owner as people I will do business with again. As someone that runs a camping group in Calgary, I will be sure to share my experience with the over 500 members in my group :)

Did the deal, negotiated out the made-up-cash-grab fees, and felt pretty good about it. Pick up day a week later, it was very obvious that since we negotiated out the "inspection" fee, no one did any follow up clean on the camper (a $1,200 "service", carried out by people who already work there, thereby costing exactly zero more dollars to the dealer?!). When I asked where the spare tire was, the guy asked me, legitimately, "Did you pay for one?". No, and I didn't pay for a hitch, specifically, but since campers come with one, there it is! Get the unit out, it is great, everything works perfectly and we are happy with the purchase. But the tires still go flat every 2 weeks. Turns out, if you top up a tire with a hole in it, it will just go flat again! Who knew? Got them fixed and we are off to the races. The $ guy was awesome, far and away the best part of the whole transaction. You can't really blame the other guys though, they are just salesmen. Overall, would buy here again, but would stipulate that just because I don't want to pay your completely-made-up-doesn't-cost-you-an-extra-cent "inspection" fee or your not-legally-required-cash-grab-already-have-admin-staff-to-do-paperwork "document" fee, that work still needs to get done. And I would reiterate that travel trailers come with spare tires. Every one, every time.
