As far as appetizers, the calamari, shrimp scampi, tomato and bread, and ham were good. The deshelled paella was the star though. It was very flavorful and the texture of the rice was perfect. I ended up coming a second time just for the paella. The service was good, but not a place you would go for a quick bite. It's a great place for a casual dinner with friends. My aunt and uncle found this place on their last trip (their hotel was nearby) and then my parents had also went. Sangria is tasty, we ended up buying bottles of local wine because why not :) Food wise, we had the jamon iberico, paella, salads, veal + clams, grilled shrimp, garlic shrimp, padron peppers, and bread (they give you garlic and tomatoes here for yo my to do yourself). The first time we came it was really busy so service was a little slower so the manager gave us a free potato salad tapa which was also delicious. Some of the wait staff speak more English than others, but it was easy enough to communicate and the food was delicious (bathroom is also clean)!

Everywhere we went needed reservation, but thank god this place had some space. Felt like a local spot, since everyone around us was speaking Spanish. We ordered the octopus, patatas bravas, pan tomate, and croquettes. I am someone that dislikes potatoes, but wow these potatoes really blew me away. Perfectly sliced and fried, the sauce was also impeccable. The octopus was also very tender and paired very well with the sauce. Everything tasted fresh and crisp, such a great find. Slightly pricier than I expected restaurants to be around the area, but definitely a trendy and worthy spot. Bottled water was also like $1, which was amazing. Atmosphere 10/10 Quite loud, a lot of conversations going on inside, but I enjoyed this vibe. Very lively and young crowd, we fit right in. Great interior decor, a lot of marble and brass details. Service 8/10 They were friendly and happily entertained our attempts at speaking Spanish, a good time.

Small tapas bar style restaurant that was able to squeeze us in with no reservation. Very homey feeling style to the ambiance. Staff and menus are multilingual, so if Spanish or Catalan isn't your forte, you'll be able to get by with English. We split a bottle of red wine at the recommendation of our waitress and then tried a plethora of their tapas, including the pardon peppers, patatas bravas (one of my favorites, the sauce is to die for), the ham plate, and plenty of croquets. To finish off with dessert, we had the rice pudding and the flan, and I have to say that the flan might have been the culinary highlight of the trip. It's homemade and it shows!
