Super unprofessional communication style. My friend booked services to cater her wedding. First - the contract had her information documented incorrectly which she then had to point out. Second - When she emailed to confirm the timeline for the event day was received, no reply. Emailed again no reply. Called -no reply. Reviews on Google show great (5 star) reviews but others here on Yelp show a different story. She will certainly be looking to get her security deposit back. I don't recommended people use this company for catering. read more

I love camzies pizza! I think they shine most when they partner with local wineries and events. I would encourage anyone who sees them at an event to order a pizza, their delicious sauce, cheese and toppings will only serve to enhance your experience. First time to their new store location, never had their pizza before today. It was a Pleasant fine for sure! If you come between 2-4 you can get a total of four toppings on them. This is a thin crust which allows you to taste the ingredients better in that fill you up with a bunch of carbohydrates. Not greasy like other chains. It was a light pizza sauce, would have liked more, but overall it's one of the best pies I come across in a while. Would recommend it to friends. It only took about 5 min from ordering to my car. The drive-through means I don't even have to get out of the dang car, can't get much easier than that! They even offered me paper plates napkins red peppers and Parmesan, super service. No seating so you'll have to find a place to eat, not the best for families unless you are close to your home. That one reason is why 4 and not 5 stars. read more

These guys are great!! We had an employee appreciation event and one of the food trucks we planned on didn't show up. Not only did Camzies keep serving great pizza, but they did so quickly to help minimize a long wait that was not their fault. I'd highly recommend them. read more

Camzie's was chosen to cater to a wedding and it was the only thing that went wrong on that special day. The pizzas were burned black on the bottom and the top was undercooked. There was something wrong with the oven according to the worker and "it was the last event this oven was going to be used" according to him. Are you kidding me!! Why the owner chose to bring this rig to the wedding and ruin the food, I have no idea. Fortunately, both families were very understanding and we did not let it affect our joyful moods. Think many times before you ask this crew to cater to your next event. read more

I had to give a one star so I could proceed to post this review. My name is Mo Hedroug, I have been in the food business for over a quarter century, most of the year as a chef/executive chef. I have never written a review before on yelp, and I never thought that I would write a negative one especially about a small locally owned business. Well, I am writing one today Tuesday, August 18th, 2015. I went to the Texas Corner's farmers market, and I thought I'd have a small pizza as a snack before dinner. I stood in front of a crowd of 8 to 10 people. I was asked right away what I wanted, and I was handed a little piece of paper with a number, and I paid for my pizza. I was watching the guys as they were working very slow, making excuses about the oven getting cold, and there was no flame. When you have a wood fired over one must keep feeding it wood throughout the service that is a basic knowledge. Anyways, I am not getting into technicalities nor lack of hygiene and sanitation because those things are irrelevant to this review. Half an hour later I saw my pizza being built, and put in the oven. I mentioned to the lady not to cut it because it was a vegetarian, and I eat only kosher. The lady reassured me that the second pizza blade was only used to cut vegetarian pizzas, and that made me happy. I told her that the pizza just went into the oven, and it was coming out soon (It takes about 4 minutes for a pizza to be completely baked in such ovens) After that, they were pizzas coming out the oven, and numbers were called randomly (It seemed that the pizzas were being built randomly) and people getting their orders with a smile. I saw a black olive onion pizza being taken out the oven and set on the front table, I pointed that to the person (Lady) that my pizza was ready, and she said that it was not mine, it was a pizza that belonged to another order, and that they were waiting for the rest of the order (One lady had ordered 3 pies) So I kept waiting and waiting. Twenty minutes later the guy at the oven mentioned that all the orders were out, and one lady customer said to me pointing to the one that had been sitting for a while, that must be yours. I then asked the person about my pie, and she looked at the ticket and handed me that pizza that was sitting on a table in front of people coming and leaving who were standing in front of my pie talking without a sneeze guard (a barrier usually made of glass like the ones you see at a buffet). I refuse to take it, I handed them the ticket and slowly walked away toward my car that was parked right across from the oven. They never apologized, acknowledged their mistake, nor offered to do anything to fix the problem not even offer to reimburse me. They just nonchalantly looked at me and looked around and got back to what they were doing. read more

We ordered at Camzie's booth during the Kalamazoo Pride festival and were handed our root beer and our change. There was no ticket given to us. There was no trashcan anywhere nearby to throw the ticket out. We walked ticketless over to the curb not 10 feet away and took in the festive atmosphere. Without a ticket. My girlfriend sitting directly to my left started noticing that everyone else had tickets. We all wondered what that was about as time passed and we watched everyone who ordered before us receive their pizzas. I approached the cash register area where I ordered and said we didn't receive a ticket. The owner turns and shouts "LOST YOUR TICKET LOST YOUR PIZZA" like it was a Camzie's catchphrase. I was caught a little off guard, not only at how ridiculous that policy is (just give me my pizza I paid for that is cooking in your oven?) but also how someone can actually maintain a business being that rude to the customers that support their passion. The woman behind the register said she remembered us, that she was sure she gave us a ticket and asked what we ordered. When I replied she stated my pepperoni and pineapple pizza "didn't exist". I suppose that at least she was trying to help us as her boss was spitting LOST YOUR TICKET LOST YOUR PIZZA like a two year old who just learned his first words. Several tense minutes pass where the woman behind the register is still adamantly denying forgetting to give us our ticket. She said they "usually don't do this" but they'd still give us our pizza... that we paid for... that was in the oven. Her boss was still yelling at her and us. It was rude and unprofessional. We walked over to the curb again and waited, obviously a little miffed but these things happen. Minutes pass and the woman behind the register approached us. I'm aware that a situation like this is a customer service person's worst nightmare, I know from experience and I felt for her. I really did. Until she was rude and told me that not being given our ticket was "irrelevant" and that this sort of thing "happens all the time". If a problem such as this is a persistent problem, it should be addressed and fixed. She came over to tell us that our pizza is actually not in the oven. If she really had given us our half of the ticket then the other half would be on the cooking line where the pizzas are made and it would have been cooked. At this point we had been waiting and treated so poorly that we didn't want to wait any longer. We asked for our money back. We were told that wasn't an option. I guess even when Camzie's messes up they don't reimburse costumers. As I was attempting to talk to her about the issue she turned her face away and started helping someone else in the middle of our conversation. I guess customers don't matter at Camzie's after they have your money. She hands us our new ticket with our order number neatly stamped and a bolded message "LOSE YOUR TICKET, LOSE YOUR PIZZA". We get our pizza about 5 minutes later. Thanks for rushing it and burning the crust to a carcinogenic-filled crisp. In summary, burnt pizza is still good when you're hungry enough, but if an issue arises Camzie's customer service will leave a bad taste in your mouth. read more
