    Meatball Hoagie
    Julie B.

I've been going to this place since I was a child and have never been disappointed with one thing that I've gotten there. I usually get the meatball hoagie and of course a cookie dough cyclone. Their ice cream is always the perfect treat. The meatball hoagies are huge and very filling. The sauce is super tasty and the cheese that they use is the best. They also travel well as the picture I took was after my lunch had taken a 45+ minute drive to get to me. I might have sent my boyfriend to get us lunch from one of my favorite places to eat as a child He ordered the meatball hoagie as well and said it was the best he's ever had. We're pretty much foodies at this point so that's a real compliment coming from him. I can't get enough of Kim's Korner. I wish that it was open year round! I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

I don't live local, but will always make 2-3 stops at Kim's if I'm home in season they're open.

They prepare your food right in front of you. The cheeseburger and tater tots were delicious and pricing was more than reasonable. If we venture to this area again we will surely be back!!! It was a thick beef patty topped with cheese, bacon, and a fried egg. The burger was astoundingly juicy and seasoned heavily. Fries were pretty standard but they complemented the burger nicely. Highly recommended, though I'm sure you can't go wrong with any of their burgers. The atmosphere is so rugged, it is actually almost charming. The lighting is dark and there is a bit of a smoky smell to the air, though no smoking is allowed at the bar where we sat. There are also a few gambling machines in the back that appeared to be the most high tech thing in the whole place. The atmosphere was really quite retro, though perhaps not by design. The server (can't remember her name) was attentive and friendly. She chatted with my coworker and I while she prepared our burger on the griddle right in front of us. If you are looking for an authentic West Virginia type of experience, this is a great place to try. Just don't bring your kids, because they will not be allowed in!

They have two lanes, but when I was there only one was open (so there was a slight wait). You could actually clearly hear and understand the person through the speaker which doesn't always happen. The menu is fairly limited (you can basically only get chicken tenders or a chicken sandwich) so the only choice is how many fingers and if you want a combo or things individually. I chose a three piece box which comes with a piece of bread, the tenders, crinkle fries and a sauce. While I really enjoy their fries and think their chicken strips are great, it is a bit pricey for fast food. Generally, though, the process was easy, my order was right and the place looked clean.

We decided to go inside because this location had the worst parking lot and drive through I've ever experienced. There isn't a lot of room to ride around and get the proper format of getting through. It's designed kind of off. So you have to be careful of you end up back on the road and having to drive further away to come back on the right side. It's easier to park and walk inside. Anyway ... the ambiance was nice. Everyone was friendly and efficient. We selected the box meal which consisted of 4 fingers and fries along with a drink. I'm not the biggest chicken finger fan. These were good but nothing exceptional. The sauce makes the meal. The sauce is really the star of the show. It's a chipotle, old bay type flavor that has an awesome taste. We were headed back on the road, so it served as a great meal to be on the go. The restaurant was very clean and all the items you needed were on the counter and fully stocked.
