The parking lines are barely visible, which makes it very difficult to find a proper spot. You end up having to squeeze between cars and guess where the spaces even are. The buildings themselves are also pretty old and could definitely use some updates. That said, the care is excellent -- I'd give it a 9 out of 10. The staff is friendly, professional, and they get things done. The medical service is solid, but the parking lot and property maintenance could use improvement

Anna became frustrated at me thinking I could not understand her thick accent when it was the issue was the phone volume, became passive in aggressive and hang up to my two requests to speak with the manager. Days later calling back attempting to schedule my appointment with someone other than Anna, Luis Arneta came on the line affording me the most childish conversation I have ever encountered with a business regarding lies Anna had told him and other unrelated gibberish he felt need to vent, he invited me to go else where. If you encounter problems of this nature please know that if it is not you. It is apparent that this practice needs a reliable source of guidance structure and supervision

This place is pretty questionable when it comes to customer service…read more We came to the office because of my mother's lower back and neck problems. We filled out the paperwork fairly quickly and did not have to wait long (all good so far). However, interesting enough - it doesn't appear that they read the paperwork afterwards. It's like documentation... When we were in the room, Arianne (sp?), comes in and is super friendly. But we were the ones to being up the topic that mom has a pacemaker even though we indicated it already in the paperwork they provide us. I would suggest that they read the last page and review their patients' medical file before entering the room. If we did not bring it up, and my mother (disabled, btw) was by herself in the room... it could have been a risk. Secondly, I am unsure why but they have a policy to not allow their minder / family member into the treatment room despite it being fairly roomy. They just told me I wasn't allowed in there. So I left to go to the waiting room outside. I heard my mom asking for me, but I couldn't do anything at that point since they told me I can't go inside. After the treatment, my mom was breathing hard and told me she has heart palpitations and had asked for water - which they refused. They informed her they don't carry water there. Odd - you would think a Physical Therapy Office would carry water since it's treatment of the body. Even doctor's offices, chiropractic offices, etc carry water. What did annoy me the most was when I was leading my mom outside, I saw their break room, and noticed they had a whole box of bottled water on the floor. So it's not that they do not have water. They just wanted to refuse her the water. They could have given her tap water since they obviously have a break room - but they did not. In short, I highly doubt we will return to this office after the negative experience. In the future, please read the paperwork prior to entering the room about their past healthy history. It will speed up the meet and greet, plus you can ask to clarify information you noticed in the health sheet. For example: pacemaker, atrial fibulation, legally blind woman, etc. And also - if a patient is struggling and asking for water. Might be nice if you actually give her the water.

The rehab program itself was excellent, and the nurses were absolutely amazing -- they constantly supported and encouraged me throughout the entire process and really pushed me to keep improving every day. The nursing staff on the 2nd and 3rd floors were honestly some of the nicest and most helpful nurses I have ever met. They were the real MVPs, not just with me but with all of the patients they cared for. You could genuinely tell they treated everyone like family, and that kind of compassion and teamwork really stood out every single day. A huge special thank you to Florinda, who truly made all the difference. From the very start, she looked out for me and made sure I was taken care of. She was incredibly kind, attentive, hardworking, and supportive through everything. Honestly, I could not have done it without her. She went above and beyond every single day and made such a positive impact on my entire experience. Florinda is one of the main reasons this place feels so welcoming and caring -- she is truly amazing and helps make this place special. Also, Kathleen deserves recognition because on the very first day she immediately stepped in and squared away every issue or concern I had. She made the transition smooth and stress-free right from the start, and that meant a lot. Thank you again to all the nurses and staff for the incredible care, support, encouragement, and professionalism. Highly recommend Pacifica Nursing and Rehab to anyone looking for a rehab facility that genuinely cares about its patients and families.

No issue with his stay and care (except noise which is to be expected) BUT wish my uncle could've stayed longer to get the daily physical therapy he needed. Unfortunately, Kaiser "claimed" they didn't see improvement and released him (which seems to be counterintuitive!) even after appeals. Smh. Even though they decided to still take me in, the entire interaction felt unprofessional. After filling out the paperwork, I mentioned I would be paying out of pocket. During a phone call I had with the office about 3 weeks earlier, I was told the visit would cost around $110-$120. However, the front desk suddenly told me it would be $200. When I explained what I had previously been told, instead of trying to help or clarify professionally, I was asked "what office did you call?" and told it was "maybe the coupon price." If that price was discussed before, it should have been honored or at least handled respectfully. Instead, I was basically given an ultimatum: either continue with the appointment at the higher price or cancel. I chose to cancel. Overall, the customer service was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I will not be returning.

*Disclaimer: This facility is no longer "St. Francis Heights". Goes by a different name owned and…read morerun by a different company. Generations Health Care (HQ in southern California) operated Saint Francis and my rating pertains to them, not to the current ownership, which took over within a year after COVID-19 was officially declared a pandemic in the U.S.* ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Situated in a quiet corner in a fairly quiet neighborhood but also with easy access from Highways One and 280 is this care facility. Saint Francis Heights was very good for patients from Daly City or coming from the western/southern districts of San Francisco, who needed skilled nursing after a hospital stay. Some of those trying to recover end up requiring 24-hour nursing care long term. The building is at least a few decades old, and rooms don't have the newest shiniest advanced equipment, but it is kept very clean and mostly functioning fine. Staff did their best in caring for patients and residents. Nutritionists did what they could to provide individually tailored meals, but bottom line, the food and beverage were average quality hospital type fare. The pandemic posed the most enormous challenges, with regard to just trying to retain staff and keeping the virus at bay -- a virtually impossible task at any care facility. Many services and amenities were continually postponed or stopped altogether. And unfortunately COVID struck many here, patients and staff alike. Heights administrator communicated to families in a timely manner and heeded guidance from the County, even with constantly changing rules. By the way, St. Francis Heights is not to be confused with St. Francis Pavilion, the two-story structure next door. It's a separate building with a separate administrator. Still, both facilities are under same ownership and utilise laundry and kitchen facilities located at Pavilion and on occasion they share staff. Special thanks to former administrator Kordell, former nursing director Jessica, social service manager Nelai, nurses Carmen and Mary Lou, CNA Carmen and Neil, and Michelle of business office, for all their efforts. Patient care, attention to residents and family briefing were all markedly better when Generations Health Care was operating St. Francis Heights, before it was sold to an east coast company that runs nursing homes.

No training in this department I assume. It just wasn't my mother. I watched a patient screaming in the hall at a nursing assistant who was screaming back at her. 100% unprofessional. their Covid knowledge was absolutely abysmal. They roomed Covid positive people with healthy people, and tried to say that was normal and OK. There were a few times that I observed the nursing assistance sitting in my mother's room, reading a newspaper or watching TV while my mother was sleeping and not caring for her at all. But that was not the majority. But there are bums collecting a paycheck in every occupation. On the flipside, MOST of the nursing assistance really did try. They're overworked, underpaid, understaffed. They don't have to be charming or sweet or entertaining but they do their job. BIG ISSUE! I did draw attention to the on-site nurse, the pharmacy nurse that would pass out medication. They did not watch medicine being taken. I found a collection of pills under my mother's tissue. The pharmacist swore up and down that he had watched my mother take the pills. Had no answer when I presented a handful of them. Nor was there an apology. But I sincerely think most of the people there try hard and an overwhelming job. the food was not cuisine, but it was edible and decent.
