Horrible customer service. The owner are scammer. Do not shop there. You will lose your money because they don't replace or refund anything. Very cheap and ugly people working there. I have ordered a sweatshirt for 90.99 and never got the package from them. The tacking number they sent me does NOT prove the content of the package. It could be fake or filled with some random trash like items. When I called back this old guy screamed at me and refused to send me the replacement. Instead , he asked me for more money to pay for the sweatshirt and I refused to do that because it's a scam ! They just want your money but do not send anything to you or pretend they did by sending you fake package . I am going to file a legal complain with local and federal authorities. I am a first time buyer and to be honest I was overwhelmed by the massive inventory they have for Northwestern. I didn't know where to start and all the items seemed to consume me. So, I asked the gentleman in front how the store's items were broken down. He so kindly walked me through the hoodies, long sleeves, short sleeves, hats, license plates, etc. Now I was able to efficiently navigate the stacks of clothing and found a great crew neck (really wanted a hoodie) in the kids area that fit me well. As I was ready to pay I asked if he had anything softer that would fit me. With a big smile he said yes! He said it was the last hoodie in women's XS tucked in with the hundreds of others. However, he knew EXACTLY where he put it! Impressive! I ended up the best hoodie by Know Wear (already have a NU Champion) that's fleece inside and with the Northwestern logo sewn on. This was my first time buying from this store online. I ordered a shirt and hat in late December of 2020 and was incredibly impressed with the customer service. Due to business shutdowns, they did not received the shipment of the hat that I ordered, so I was sent a fitted version of the adjustable hat at no extra charge. Additionally, even though the items were not intended as a Christmas gift, my order was upgraded from Standard to Priority shipping free of charge to ensure that it arrived in a timely manner. This was even more impressive considering the pandemic and US postal service delayed at occurred around the holidays. Overall, the order shipped across the country to me in only a few days. For 4 years, we've been buying all things NU Wildcat from this store. They have an inventory of 1000's of items. Amongst some of the most unique items they sell are "House Divided" hats, and these aren't your typical rivalries. If you can think of it, they've got it, to include Service Academies, Ivies, SEC, Big10 and even those SLAC schools that get absolutely no love. I purchased from Campus Gear Online on Monday night and it showed up Wednesday morning on my doorstep. Neatly packaged and shipped via Priority at the expense of the owner just so it would show up by Christmas. This was an unsolicited gesture that was greatly appreciated! To all of the complaints about prices being high...you have the NCAA to thank for that. It has nothing to do with the store which simply sells NCAA licensed items and prices are no different than Dick's, Fanatics, Lids or any of the other big collegiate gear shops. I would implore anyone considering to purchase Northwestern gear from a big box retailer to support a locally owned business like Campus Gear instead. I purchased online and it was here a heck of a lot quicker than other retailers I've used in the past and the packaging was great as well. Please support our local businesses at all costs. I read all the most recent reviews (mostly negative) and I would have to confirm the negative reviews. It's true they have wall to wall fan gear but I came in with a stroller and I could barely move around without bumping into something or someone. There was this lady just standing in the middle of the men's aisle of Northwestern tees, wasn't saying anything, staring at us with a suspicious look, and come to find out she works there. Another man in all Cubs gear is just looking at my stroller to see what was in it. I looked at one shirt...a cool looking grey one but a brand I never heard of...was $40! I mean Nike and Under Armor don't even cost that much. I just walk out afterwards. My wife comes out a few minutes later and says the same thing...it's way overpriced. I give it one star for the unfriendly, unhelpful, shady employees, the lack of space to move around, and the expensive no-name brand gear they're trying to sell. You are better off buying from the on-campus store at the Norris Center. Or Walgreens if you really want to save money. read more

Easily the most comprehensive NU campus gear that I can find locally. As others mentioned, this place is wall to wall packed full of gear and it does seem tight but for that you get more options when looking for stuff. My only gripe is that their prices seem to be MSRP rather than competitively priced. However, you'll most likely find things you can't elsewhere so perhaps we pay for that. read more
