A year ago, I visited the Dollar Tree in Etobicoke, just up the road from the Giant Tiger that I often visited after work. Between Dollar Tree and Dollarama, I prefer the former. Everything is $1.25. I also find that the quality is better. Although the Canadian ones don't have amazing frozen foods and ice cream, I still love them. Yesterday, I was in Cambridge and decided to check out this Dollar Tree. It's located in a plaza that gives 80's vibes. Considering that this era is my music jam, I was right at home. I parked in front of a cannabis store, which was steps away from Dollar Tree. On the other side of Dollar Tree is Value Village. There was plenty of parking. This store occupies a corner of the plaza. It looks deceivingly small from the outside, but it's pretty large when you step foot inside. I was immediately greeted with Easter items. The strength of this store is a combination of arts and crafts items. I found tie dye kits, every single marker type that you can think of (permanent, washable, scented, and more), paint, and so much more. It was impressive. The candy section was equally as great. It took forever for me to get through everything, from dry-roasted almonds to coke-flavoured gummies. I like Dollar Tree for dental floss. It's the cheapest place to get some and the quality is excellent. They have both floss dispensers and disposable picks for on-the-go emergencies. This place also has my favourite trifecta of snacks: Biscoff, Crispers, and S'mores. So deadly. So good! I do love the spice and herb selections here. I didn't need any this time around, but I like getting them at Dollar Tree. The tea selection is also excellent. I had a lovely woman cashing me out. She was polite and extremely friendly. I paid with a credit card. Sadly, my credit card's tap feature had died recently, but doing the PIN thing still works fine. She asked if I needed a bag. I was good without one. Although it's not as modern-looking as other Dollar Tree stores, the selection is great at this store. I'd definitely stop by again when I'm in in the neighbourhood. (137)

If you're into well curated,eclectic and quality "stuff,"then this is the place to go. Owner and staff are knowledgeable and super helpful and everyone is made to feel welcome. Stock is continually expanding and although a simple browse is fascinating, I find that leaving empty handed is impossible. My fave retreat when I have cabin fever and need inspiration. Try it.. you'll be hooked!

Everything was grouped together really well. All of the kitchen, general household, and bathroom cleaning supplies were all in one big aisle along the right wall. They always seemed to have a few options for each item even things like disposal vinyl gloves, toilet bowl scrubbers, and mop systems. I was happy to see that they carry a limited selection of Scrub Daddy products. These were $4 each which is a little cheaper than what other stores are charging. When I went to checkout, the cashier was very pleasant. I was in and out of there within 5 minutes. Parking is easy in the plaza and it's actually very close to the 403 on ramp, so the whole trip was very quick.

I said to him " I thought you might like to know some employees are talking loudly about how much they hate their jobs in front of customers" This person replied with " I talk about how much I hate this job all the time HAHAHAHA" I have only ever seen very few employees with any kind of class working in a Dollarama.
