    The camper we bought and sold same year but we bout it in 2024 and paid 42k

    You cant improve anything about his place or any other Camping World the whole CEO Marcus Lemonis "If your not happy I'm not happy" unreliable lying saying that sounds good but is nothing but trash! Sherman Texas Camping World are a True bunch of rip off's bought a brand new 2023 camper paid cash the got wrecked and screwed by insurance and Sherman Tx Camping World we went to because my in-laws have bought over 30 RV's so we had 48k to buy a camper and they sold us a piece of trash for 42k then not even 8 months later they bought it back and made us detail it when they said it just had to be cleaned so it was detailed and they only offer 18k so i said no and the rude woman the worked. There had them move my RV to the road because i didn't have to truck to pull it out then. I had to call corporate for them to pull it back in and them they finally. They are scammers and thank god my in-laws are passed because they would have had a fit they have bought all their campers from camping world in Texas and New York they traveled every year and was always coming home with a new one but this is how we get treated i told my wife this place was a scam

    Be careful taking your camper in to get repaired. Took mine in to have the roof resealed and ended up getting damaged while being brought out of the bay after the roof was fixed. When I went down to inspect the damages after being told about this, they said they already filed a claim with their insurance and was ordering the parts to repair it but after the total cost of $18,000, it looks like it should have been totaled and they also told me that they had the same thing happen to someone's camper the next day. Now, the camper is fixed but I asked to have the frame inspected and was told they did inspect it and trust their mechanics but the bunk part on the driver side looks like it is arched still and they told me there was no structural damage done to the camper, but they also had to replace the support braces under the tongue. Gave them the option to buy my camper now and they are only wanting to give me the price that Corporate is willing to pay with the cost of the damage.

    I'm sorry but we have already gone through the corporate office and found nothing had changed so I don't see the point. . Again, we cannot and will not recommend this company.

    Crap! Closed before 5 pm. Didn't even speak to say they closed early for the day. Employees just hanging out at their cars.

    I bought a bike for my son's birthday online for in-store pick up. It said it would be ready…read morewithin an hour so we went to pick up the bike at this location. Here we met Serenity, who was rude, unhelpful and unempathetic. First I asked if someone can help me to put the bike into my car. She said no because it was not a curbside pick up. I told her I'm a woman with a child, I need help with putting the bike to the car. She said let her ask someone. This would be the very first store who would not help a customer upload a large item! She later reluctantly said someone may help me upload but they are not required. When I showed her my order number on my phone and she said, "Can you read the number to me?" Then she told me because I just placed the order, the bike was not assembled. I asked why the website said it would be ready within an hour. She said she didn't know. So I said to her I would be back tomorrow to pick up the bike. She said our bike won't be ready until Wednesday (today is Friday, so it turned from a "Ready within an hour" to 5 days in store pick up.) Finally I told her to cancel my order as my son and myself were just disappointed from this experience. She said you can do that yourself online. This is the worst customer service representative I have ever met!

    One of the worst retail experiences I've ever had…read more I came into this Academy location to return a pair of boots I had purchased and worn once on a job site during my internship. I had the original receipt, and I was still within the 60-day return window. The boots caused serious discomfort -- cold sores on my feet -- and I explained that they had performance issues. At first, customer service said they couldn't take them back because they "looked worn." So I left. But after reviewing Academy's return policy (which allows for returns due to discomfort or poor performance), I came back to explain. The customer service advisor was polite and told me they just needed manager approval. That's when Karla Flores, a manager, came out and completely dismissed me. She didn't say hello, didn't listen, and immediately claimed the boots were "worn several times" and that she wouldn't accept the return. I tried to explain the performance issues and that I had only worn them once, but she kept raising her voice, rolling her eyes, and even called me a liar in front of other employees and customers. Another employee, Faith, was brought over to support her judgment, even though there was only some dust on the soles. When I calmly showed them the return policy and explained my situation again, I was completely dismissed. The way Karla spoke to me was rude, demeaning, and completely unprofessional -- especially for someone in a leadership role. Eventually, another manager named Trey stepped in and handled the return professionally and with respect. He listened to me, treated me like a person, and processed the return without any issue. I'm grateful for him -- but the experience with Karla was unacceptable. No customer deserves to be spoken to like that, regardless of the situation. I hope this store seriously reconsiders who they place in leadership roles.
