    Sales circular advertising a trailer jack for $100. Neither the company's Meridian or Caldwell stores ever had it in stock.

    Bait and switch is alive and well at Camping World. In a "Celebrate Freedom" sales circular mailed out for the 4th of July, Camping World advertised a 3500-pound electric trailer tongue jack for $100, what the ad says was a $90 savings. It was listed as an in-store-only "Hot Buy." When I got to the store in Meridian, there not only wasn't any of those jacks, there wasn't even a place on the shelf for it. When I went to the front desk to inquire, a salesman said they didn't have any there, at the Caldwell store or at the company warehouse. "But there's 40 at a store in Ohio," he told me. And flipped around his computer screen to show me all the stores that had that jack, none of them within hundreds of miles of Meridian. He told me if I had one shipped from one of those stores, the shipping cost would outweigh the bargain price. They wouldn't even ship it free! I told him it was misleading to send me a sales circular listing an item for sale and not even having it available to sell. And, again, they hadn't sold out; it was never available at that store. The salesman didn't even offer a discount on any of the jacks they did have in stock. He just told me he didn't have anything to do with the circular.

    Camping World Meridian Idaho is fixing our latest problems with Keystone trailer. Have had problems all summer with AC not working and also contact paper on cabinets peeling off. This is the 3rd time for AC repair. Spent all summer with NO AC! Maybe they can fix it. Crossing our fingers. All summer my wife and I were wondering what else would come up broken or just quitting. Not even a year owning Keystone ! The manufacturer needs a lot better quality control. We will be getting trailer back after problems are fixed.

    Is camping available at this site?

    I am sorry we do not have a camp ground on our site. From my understand you can stop and sleep, or dry camp for a night if you're traveling. But even then you should still give us a call and let us know just in case!

    A longtime friend and I have been shopping at Sierra in The Village, Meridian, location, every 7…read moredays, together, for about six months. Here is what we both have observed. A dirty floor--stickers stuck to the floor, dust balls at the end of isles, Spring and Summer clothes still on the racks throughout the fall and late winter months, never priced to sell, clothes halfway off the hangars, on broken hangars, clothes without price tags (returned and just hung up without retagging?), clothes packed on racks so tightly you can barely get your hands between to remove to look at more closely (explains the previous?), floors do not look like they've been cleaned, let alone swept for months on end, obvious use of temporary help with low pay that frequently come and go, and slip little hints they may not be there when you come into the store, the next time, an electronic faucet in the Men's bathroom that you can never activate, no matter how hard you try (more than one?), and a Manager that waddles through the store, looking busy, and never smiles but if she does, it is "forced, feigned," indicating she is not a happy person doing the job she is hired to do. I am a retired professional. I was once the CEO of a large corporation, and have also held multiple managerial jobs. There is no real management of this Sierra store; this is obvious. Unfortunately, this mismanagement makes any store in a higher income class location (*The Village, Meridian, Idaho) look low-class. My friend and I will no longer shop there, until this obvious mismanagement is cleaned up. (*We have spent hundred of dollars there over a six month visitation period.)

    I recently purchased new chairs from this location. The chairs were delivered assembled. All of…read morethem are really wobbly. One of them looks like it was used. The seat is faded and there's a stain on the arm rest. To add to this, I didn't appreciate the sales tactics used in the store. Our salesperson insisted that we buy the white glove delivery instead of assembling the chairs ourselves. I did not want this m, but was told that I could only buy them in increments of 2 if I did not want the delivery. Since we were buying 3 chairs, this was basically a requirement. So we paid $100 for this delivery which makes the fact that they are not in good condition even more frustrating. A tech is coming to fix or replace them. I will update this review based on the outcome of that visit. Update: I've changed my review from 1 to 3 stars. Ashley Furniture gave me a full refund for the three chairs. I didn't go higher for a couple reasons. First, I had to deliver the chairs myself to their warehouse which was pretty far away. I think they should have picked them up. I also still don't like the sales tactic of requiring the added cost of their assembly and delivery. I could have assembled them myself, but wasn't able to do that unless I ordered in increments of two. At least that's what the salesman said.

    I've been a loyal Ashley customer for over 15 years -- starting with a mattress that lasted 10+…read moreyears. I recently purchased another mattress with a 90-day comfort guarantee that was explained to me in store. I followed every instruction, waited more than the 30-day break-in period, and then requested an exchange because the mattress caused severe back pain requiring a doctor visit. Despite the written guarantee, I was first told I couldn't exchange due to timing -- then given conflicting information by multiple reps. I submitted photos and proof online, received a claim number, and then was told someone had to inspect the mattress -- a requirement not disclosed in the paperwork and later denied by the manufacturer (Tempur-Pedic). Every call has resulted in confusion, delays, and promises of follow-up that never happen. I've been left with a mattress that harms my health, no resolution, and the prospect of waiting weeks for an exchange -- all while being told I must pay a $100 fee and any price difference. After 15+ years as a repeat customer, I will never shop here again and strongly caution others to understand the fine print: Ashley does not honor its own exchange policies, lacks clear communication, and makes recovery from a bad purchase unnecessarily painful.
