I recently purchased new chairs from this location. The chairs were delivered assembled. All of them are really wobbly. One of them looks like it was used. The seat is faded and there's a stain on the arm rest. To add to this, I didn't appreciate the sales tactics used in the store. Our salesperson insisted that we buy the white glove delivery instead of assembling the chairs ourselves. I did not want this m, but was told that I could only buy them in increments of 2 if I did not want the delivery. Since we were buying 3 chairs, this was basically a requirement. So we paid $100 for this delivery which makes the fact that they are not in good condition even more frustrating. A tech is coming to fix or replace them. I will update this review based on the outcome of that visit. Update: I've changed my review from 1 to 3 stars. Ashley Furniture gave me a full refund for the three chairs. I didn't go higher for a couple reasons. First, I had to deliver the chairs myself to their warehouse which was pretty far away. I think they should have picked them up. I also still don't like the sales tactic of requiring the added cost of their assembly and delivery. I could have assembled them myself, but wasn't able to do that unless I ordered in increments of two. At least that's what the salesman said. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before I purchased a loveseat. At the time of purchase, the store said that the loveseat was in stock in their warehouse and would be delivered in 3-4 days. A few days later, they called and said that it wouldn't be delivered until the following week. We were going to be out of that town that week so they scheduled a date and time the following week for delivery. The day before the scheduled delivery, they called to again delay delivery. I called the store manager and he stated that they had cancelled the order and sold the loveseat to someone else - and entered a new order which would delay delivery. WTF? After three scheduled and cancelled delivery dates, they agreed to deliver it today between 12-3pm so I arranged my daily schedule accordingly. At 7:30 am they called and said that they would arrive between 8-8:30am. After changing the delivery schedule 4 times, it was delivered today. I can't get back the 4 days that I set aside for the delivery. Don't believe anything they tell you. Buy elsewhere. read more

ZERO STARS!! I have shopped and purchased from Ashley for the past 20 years without incident. However, last year I purchased leather reclining sofas, end tables and an entertainment center from the Meridian location. I paid for the 5 year extended warranty for an additional $695 from a 3rd party promoted by Ashley. Last month, my powered recliner stopped working. When I called the warranty company for service they informed my that the Ashley store where I purchased the furniture had cancelled my warranty without my knowledge or consent, presumably to pocket the $695. It has taken over a month and many phone calls to get the warranty reinstated. I will no longer spend another penney at ANY Ashley store due to this deceitful incident. read more

I will NEVER order furniture from Ashley again. My delivery date has changed from their "bot" at least 10 times which has resulted in numerous phone calls with "escalation " that leads to absolutely nothing but another text message with another change. We were promised a delivery date in the store after choosing several pieces of furniture. Save yourself the time and hassle and shop somewhere else!!!! read more

I've been a loyal Ashley customer for over 15 years -- starting with a mattress that lasted 10+ years. I recently purchased another mattress with a 90-day comfort guarantee that was explained to me in store. I followed every instruction, waited more than the 30-day break-in period, and then requested an exchange because the mattress caused severe back pain requiring a doctor visit. Despite the written guarantee, I was first told I couldn't exchange due to timing -- then given conflicting information by multiple reps. I submitted photos and proof online, received a claim number, and then was told someone had to inspect the mattress -- a requirement not disclosed in the paperwork and later denied by the manufacturer (Tempur-Pedic). Every call has resulted in confusion, delays, and promises of follow-up that never happen. I've been left with a mattress that harms my health, no resolution, and the prospect of waiting weeks for an exchange -- all while being told I must pay a $100 fee and any price difference. After 15+ years as a repeat customer, I will never shop here again and strongly caution others to understand the fine print: Ashley does not honor its own exchange policies, lacks clear communication, and makes recovery from a bad purchase unnecessarily painful. read more

We purchased a recliner couch/loveseat set from them. Within a few months, we were having issues with the loveseat. A technician came out 4 times and finally decided the item was unrepairable and would need to be replaced. For almost a year, we have been dealing with Ashley customer service. They keep saying they're going to "escalate" the problem and then never get back to us. We've personally gone into the store, sent numerous emails, have spoken to multiple customer service reps, and been told they would escalate it all the way up to corporate who will look into the issue. They refuse to give me direct numbers or alternate ways to reach out to corporate myself (the information is on the internet). Do NOT buy from Ashley Furniture. The products are of low quality and the customer service team tells you what you want to hear to keep you at bay. BUYER BEWARE! read more

Promises unkept ! Store says one thing delivery service another. Purchased a recliner sight unseen. A special order. Saleman told us that once it was delivered we had the option of keeping or declining. delivery personnel told us we had 72 hours to refuse. Customer service told us they'd get back to us. Never happened. Now that the window has closed we have no option. We answered all of their questions exactly and on time. Never any response since then. Terrible in all aspects of being in business. I cannot say anything good about this company. We did plan on making additional purchases until this happened. Maybe my opinion is not what they'd like but truth be told it's honest. Go elsewhere folks and be treated with respect. read more

I was told that Dec. 20th 2024, somebody used my charge card online and ordered furniture. Supposedly it was delivered to my home. That never happened. I'm a disabled cripple at home, and I do not order anything online. I disputed the charge ($648.00 up to $1848.00 now) and it was "investigated" by Ashley. They're still charging me . They cannot tell me what was ordered and they refuse to show me delivery proof of signature. It is obviously a mistake or inside job. I I refuse to pay for something I do not have. Kuna, Idaho. This is an uncomfortable place to shop. We came in here to look at couches to just see, feel, talk through what we were looking for. Immediately someone approached us to make sure we didn't have questions. We were kind and said, we are fine, we are just looking. The sales associate proceeded to follow us, engaging in our private conversations and all while sitting one couch away no matter where we went. It felt like we were being stalked. Everywhere we went, she was there too, following, engaging, and totally ruining the experience for us. We decided not to get a couch here because of the ineffective and invasive sales approach. And it looks like from other reviews, we are not alone. I wish I had read reviews prior to coming into the store. Had I known I would be stalked by the sales associate the whole time (30-45 minutes of her looming), I would have waited in the car. We ended up making a game of it, just to get through it. Not a fun or comfortable place to shop. read more

We had a manufacturers defect on a cushion with a product we purchased. It took us over 4 months of calling, going in and leaving messages. The store manager lied straight to our faces a couple of times. They sent us on wild goose chases knowing full well that we could not get it resolved the way they said we could. We were finally able to resolve the matter with them, but only because we fought tooth and nail, and kept very detailed records of every single interaction with them. We will NEVER shop at the Boise Ashley's store again. So disappointing. This was by far the worst customer service I've experienced. I spent hours trying to leave a complaint about the store with upper management, but you are unable to do so which shows how little the company cares about customer experience. read more

This company is run by incompetent ignorant people. I made several calls to remove myself from their mailing list and each person told me "we don't do that here, call..." How complicated is it to remove someone from a mailing list??? I ended up using a magnifying glass to comb through the mailer to find (in probably a size 0 font) how to unsubscribe. If I could give them several minus 0 stars I would. We purchase what we thought was a good quality dining room set two years ago (Meridian, Idaho store). Quality is terrible after two years of gentle use. I will never make another purchase from them. Save your money and headaches and go somewhere else. I don't know why, but this shows I live in San Francisco. I do not. read more

Terrible quality furniture at horrifically inflated prices. All four stools broke within five months. Spent hours jumping through hoops and sending pictures to try and redeem our extremely expensive warrantee, only to have Ashley's deny that the stools were broken, even though the foot rests were completely separated and sheered off and two of the stools seats broke off completely. read more

If I could give it no ratings I would. Absolute worst experience of my retail life! Do not even think of going to Ashley's in meridian. They lied to me for over 4 months about my order. I took many days off work waiting for the delivery truck and they never showed up twice. After 4 months they finally showed up and my sofa was damaged. I was told I should keep it and they could have someone repair it!!! I'm going to spend $3,000 on something broken and I'm going to hope that you're just going to have someone repair it??? Dealing with Mike, the manager on the multitude and plethora of issues that I had was a joke. I would have to write a novel of all the terrible and outrageous things that happened in my experience. It's not worth it to save a few bucks. Go to a reputable, decent place like Bassett. After my horror show at Ashley's I went to Bassett in meridian and the manager chance took pity on me and worked magic to get me what I needed as soon as possible. And may I say the quality at Bassett is exceptional. I had assumed the price would be triple but not so It was a bit more, true but the quality is exceptional and the service was everything I hoped for Ashley's in meridian should be ashamed of themselves and how they treated me and my entire experience. I should have read the reviews before even walking into that store. I've learned my last name.... I hope I can save you some suffering read more

We had a family emergency that we had to cancel our order because there was nobody home to sign for it. We came to the store to talk with the manager so he could cancel it, we said we weren't able to sign so we canceled and he said everything was good already. We came back and they told us that we could get the same couch just apply again and the new person who helped us told us that the manager named Mick Magnesum had wrote that we weren't able to sign for delivery because we were moving to mexico and nowhere in the conversation was mentioned the word mexico. As we are Mexican this was very insulting to us because we found it very insulting and racist. Believe me if I could give 0 stars we would, I would like for him to be reported and ultimately fired from this place this is unbelievable. HIS NAME IS MICK MAGNESUM. read more

so long story short, so my wife and I purchased a couch and love seat from Ashley in meridian idaho. So after approx: a day we found a better deal and better made. So we proceed to contact the salesman who was very knowledgeable and friendly.also said he would give us his personal phone#. Which he instructed us to contact him and he would make sure our problems would be resolve. First call to him was to cancel the order found better deal elsewhere! We found out after talking to him to cancel the order he wasn't so pleasant after all and wo take care of it. So after 3 days and numerous calls back to him. no response but kept receiving notifications of delivery of furniture. So proceeded to call the store and talk to the manager who after many calls and nothing happening. We went to the store and stood over the manager (Mike) of the store for approximate 1 1/2 hours and threatening him we weren't leaving until confirmation of cancellation was given to us. So after the first time dealing with them years ago. I told myself never again, I guess I'm really hard headed and believed the crap that Otto the salesman dish out saying new owners, new managers and had revamped all employees and had solved previous problems that they had had. "WRONG" Please don't be a sucker like myself and save yourself a lot of anger and frustration and don't bother with them. The worst furniture store I've ever dealt with and. Customer service is 10/10. I purchased a couch through the online store and it's been a nightmare leaving me without a couch all summer with no apologies or accommodations for the delays. I went in to this location and Kadie and Justin were so nice and helpful. They were able to cancel my order online and switch to in store to ensure I actually get my couch without the headache I've already had with the online company. Highly recommend going in store and avoiding the headache of the online robots. Kadie and Justin deserve a raise for enduring the headache with me today. thank you again. read more

Honestly provide delivery dates and timely assistance for any needs. Feel that the return process makes you feel inadequate and impatient

Had to cancel part of my order because delivery was rescheduled 3 different times & we needed dressers asap and couldn't wait a month or longer. Was told I would receive a refund in 3-5 days and it's been 10 days, no refund. I have called the store numerous times and I keep being told I will get a call back before they close, no call backs ever. Still have zero clue why I haven't been refunded. Worst customer service I've ever had from any store. Not sure how this place is still in business. The manager Mike was also condescending over the phone. read more

I went here last weekend because I am on the market for new furniture for my teenage daughters room. I was on their website and seen they have 0% if you get approved for a CC and I got approved! I start shopping online and I realize there is a store close to home. I saw some dressers and wanted to go and look at the dimensions in person. I walk into the store, and it's not busy. I notice a few workers huddled up in a meeting and I'm walking around the store hoping someone would acknowledge me cause I have some questions and I am ready to purchase. No one greets me. I was in the store alone for 15-20 min and no help was offered. I walked out cancelled my CC and will not be going back. Thanks Ashley! read more

DO NOT BUY FROM ASHLEY We are still trying to get our order that was placed in November. This morning (2/5/25) we called the regional office. We were told they don't have any stores in Idaho and they have no record of our purchase. We said what about the Ashley Furniture store at 3635 E. Fairview in Meridian IDAHO where we placed the order? They said, "oh, that's a different region, you have to call this number. When we told them that was the number we called they said, "sorry we don't know what to tell you" Ashley Furniture is run by completely incompetent idiots who should all be fired. Read the reviews and take your money elsewhere. I will never purchase another piece of furniture from Ashley Furniture again. We had a sofa delivered and assembled and the delivery crew scratched and damaged our brand new floors we just had installed a month ago. Furthermore, when they slid the couch across the room, they took a chunk out of one of the legs. They FaceTimed their supervisor who took a look at the damage and said, "sorry." She told me to get a quote from our installer to fix the four planks that were damaged and she would call me the following day. I never heard from her even after waiting a week and Ashley refused to give me the company's name or contact info which is extremely shady. We reached out to Ashley who said if they don't make this right we will discount the sofa to compensate and will send a tech out to fix the sofa leg damage. We never heard back from them. We reached out 2 more times and actually got a call back this morning. They offered a measly $50 for the floor damage, which doesn't even cover the cost of one box of planks let alone the labor cost. God forbid their "third party delivery company" damages anyone else's home because Ashley only cares about making the sale and nothing after. read more

We purchased a sectional December 2021. We also purchased the very expensive 5 year extended warranty since we have pets. There is an area that is unraveling on the seam of the chaise, both sides. Clearly a defect. We've only had it a little over a year. Shouldn't be unraveling. Thankfully we have the super, awesome warranty to fix it, right?!?! WRONG!! I was told by the gentleman on the phone that Ashley sends there repairs to that it wasn't covered. However, if I stained it or burned it with a cigarette they could repair it. Funny, the guy sold us the sectional and warranty he said that since we have dogs we definitely needed it in case they scratched a hole in it. That's a complete LIE!! I guess we will have to pay out of pocket to get our 4K sectional fixed. What a scam!!! read more

We just bought a new home and came to look for furniture and first thing the sales guy says to us is wow you waited too long and now I won't be able to get you any furniture for 4-6 weeks. Unfortunately this will be another one star review that is so similar to the others. Bad on us for not doing our research first. Came in and found a coffee table we liked and was needed in the next week. We were NOT harassed by the sales people when we came in. In fact, we had to go seek one out to make the purchase. Like all the other reviews, we were told it was in stock locally, available to be picked up in the next couple days, and we would be contacted by the warehouse. Well that never happened. Looking at the emailed order confirmation it showed that the shipping date was a week later than the date we were told we could pick it up. So that date came and went with no communication from anyone. We call customer service to find that the warehouse never had our item in the first place and the pickup date was pushed out another three weeks. That wasn't going to work. I went back into the store to cancel the order and was told only the manager could help me and they were not available at the time, even though they came out and talked to someone else that came into the store after I did. Whatever. They took my name and number and said I would be contacted, which they eventually did but was several days later. In the meantime, we called customer service and they canceled the order and refunded our money. Thankfully, that process was painless. We got our coffee table from DeMeyer furniture and were able to go next door and pick it up right away. No hassles. And it was an Ashley brand and half the price. Joke's on you, Ashley. Not sure if the salesman was just telling us that the item was in stock when it wasn't just to make a sale (commissioned, I'm sure) or if their computer is wrong or what. But with so many bad reviews about this same exact situation, you'd think they'd want to figure shit out. read more

My boyfriend & I are in the process of buying a house and were in desperate need of new bedroom set. We popped in around 8pm (an hour before closing), greeted by Pattie within minutes! She started by taking us around the store to get a feel of what we were looking for & began showing us what was on the floor. She was so PATIENT. That night she stayed until close to 10pm (an hour after closing). By the end of the night, we ended up walking away to sleep on things. She told us it was OK to be unsure. She reassured us that she would rather us come back multiple times than settling for something we were unhappy with. We went back to see her the next day and we were given once again her full undivided attention. We solidified our bedroom set & moved into the mattress corner. She spent over an hour finding us the perfect mattress that suited both our needs. She made us comfortable with blankets and pillows so we could really get the feel of the bed. We walked out of there SAVING a bunch of money with the great deals they have going on right now for the 4th. If any of you are in need of furniture PATTIE over at Ashely Furniture is your girl. HORRIBLE after sale experience. Sure they are friendly and helpful before you buy, but then you will never talk to a live person again. They delayed our order three times over a period of 3 months. They kept saying it was backordered, then promised a delivery date of 12/31. Then they called and said it was backordered with a new date of 1/1. I asked another phone troll why it was backordered one day and they said it was a schedule issue with the delivery service.
