Toilets and showers are good, but all showers are in the men's toilets. Prices are low (two people, a small tent and two showers came to 14 Euros). There is no shop on site, so take all supplies with you, or go to the excellent hotel 2km above the campsite for food and drink (http://www.parks.it/alb/pizzo.del.frate/) . It is worth the walk to the hotel for the views alone - this was the most stunning setting I have ever camped in.
The site is really for permanent chalets, but there are some empty sites to pitch a tent in, all well drained and turfed. The only reason this is four stars instead of five is the shower situation and lack of shop. There is a bar on site, but it was closed when we were there (early June). The owners do not speak English, but limited Italian will get you by.
