I have been using Campbell & Co. for about 7 years now, mainly for HVAC maintenance twice a year, but also duct cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, drain inspection and electrical check. Every employee that I've come into contact with has been courteous, considerate, knowledgeable, and professional. They always call 30-45 minutes prior to arrival since the scheduling is a wide timeframe. The workers always wear footies over their shoes while inside the home, which is an added bonus since most workers don't do that. This company has been around for a long time and has perfected their service. The prices are higher than others, but the value is commensurate. read more

First trip out was great! Showed the tech what else we wanted done... he explained their service program and we signed up! We scheduled a service and the team that came out didn't have the equipment for the service. We would need to schedule ANOTHER visit. Then, said our equipment was unsafe and needed repair that same day or they would red tag (the same equipment he looked at on first visit!) Oh boy! We sent them away and called their office. Too bad. Essentially we are now just making monthly payments, don't have them to come out at all, biding our time until our contract is up. read more

I called to have a drain snaked. Technologist walked into bathroom and pulled sink plug out and it was full of hair etc blocking water. Never brought tools in and took 2 mins to show me that. Still charged $99. This after I had them install a 17000 HVAC system. Shame on them. I won't be using them for anything other than the warrantied HVAC service read more

installation of my heating and ac system went well. However, the employees left greasy prints on several walls and broke one of my ceiling lights left a gap in the wall to the outside and didn't tell me. The 5 year warranty I purchased is only good for one visit per season. so if you miss the call that you need to schedule, they don't give you a reminder, they behind the scenes give you a dismissal and list you as not wanting the check. Meaning you have to wait until the following "season" to have your system checked. Although it has been 10 months since they have "checked" my system, I was told that this is now in the "winter season" but I can't get my heater checked now... I have to wait two more months to get a check of my heating system. "Winter season" only means that you get a "free" (already paid for) system check every 12 months. So i call BS on campbell's good customer service. read more

Reviewing my past Yelp comments on Campbells. Still advising you to get your charges CLEAR while having the technicians perform their job. I was told they did MAJOR repairs. Ok replaced a part that took 5 minuts, sprayed the fan with our hose. The difficulty I now have is that you should be shown what was done. Although they did spend less than an hour here, last week we actually went downstairs to see the furnace. The technician "forgot" to turn on the filter system. It is electronic and it only needed have them flip that switch.... Back to a 2 stars for them since we were told how dirty it was, and without a filter for a few weeks? Nice. read more

I had these guys come and clean drain....turns out "P" pipe was rusted out. they then returned and installed new one. I scheduled a new shower pan install.....they rescheduled install time.......that day came and the sent a guy out to give me estimate.....? after 2000.00 later they wanted another 1700.00 to set shower pan that I provided..............will NOT recommend these clowns read more

Stay away shady billing practices. I was told by their receptionist that they would not schedule to look at the problem or give an estimate without approval to do the work first. I would have gladly paid for their time but an open ended bill before they will even come look at the problem. This against the law. I guess since its residential they figure we are desperate as its 90F out and our air is down. Called at 1pm May 16th, 2023 to have them troubleshoot or get an estimate to get ac going as heat pump wont start. I'm a mechanical engineer and never in my career have I had any company insist for approval to do open ended work to even set up an appointment. By law a consumer has the right to an estimate of the work to be done. Don't fall for shady practices like this. How sad in a community like this they prey on what they assume are unknowledgeable people. read more

After two years of trying for resolution with Brian Campbell, the General Manager I still have an HVAC system AND an electrical panel without an inspection. In addition, the HVAC system did not even have a permit pulled for a year. I became suspect when Campbell would not have it inspected. Well, there was no permit. In addition, uncompensated damages and damages compensated at less than fair market value. The responsibility for Campbell to fulfill their legal obligations, is met with threats of collection and legal action. Campbell and Co lacks integrity, accountability and responsibility. Oh by the way the damages all started when Campbell hit a gas line at my house! Do not have a system installed with Campbell. If Brian Campbell was operating in good faith, two years later the situation would not be ongoing. Pictures attached. I know Brian Campbell's install in his own personal home does not look like this. He expects $20k payment for this type of install, service , and lack of integrity. read more

If you use them they will do a good job but their billing practices are horrible. I had them install new hvac in my home two years ago. I called them back for a zoning problem and they said the part was warranty but labor wasn't covered. Not knowing what the problem was I accepted their estimate of $730. It took them less than an hour to replace it! If this isn't taking advantage of the customer I don't know what is. I called the office and they don't do jobs by the hour and basically said tough. I will never use them again. read more

Both times I was extremely impressed with their professionalism, calm demeanor, and ability to quickly fix the issue. The service technician Kelly arrived in a mask and wearing booties. She fixed our problem with the air conditioner very Efficiently. Campbell and company promptly came after we called even though they were very busy. The price they quoted was what they charged. I would definitely use this company again.The receptionist who answered the phone at the office was also very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this company. read more

I work in the same field in Seattle at A large HVAC company, my mom's furnace went out in the middle of the week and I couldn't make it over, so I told my mom to call Campbell. They came out the next day and told my mother everything was burnt and she needed to replace the entire furnace at a cost of $10k plus. I suspected they were lying, so had my friend who lives in Yakima go out the next day, and as I suspected it was only a failed indoor blower motor. $220 later and the furnace/heat pump is fixed. I would never do business with these guys, it is companies like this who give all of us in the trade a bad name and view! read more

Terrific company! We had a flood from a broken hose in our laundry that resulted in 3 1/2 months of reconstruction. One of the last check marks was to have all of our vents cleaned. Holy cow this was an expensive half hour! I had some water leaking out of my furnace and decided to give Campbell & Company a call. My wife did some calling around and their price to come out ($79) was in line with some of the other options in town. I had a suspicion what the issue was, but decided to let a professional handle it. It turns out that the pipe for evaporated liquid was clogged with a buildup of Algae. The repair required about 15 minutes to cut the pipe and flush it with a little bit of water....that part was billed to us at $92.25! He also decided to put some algae tablets into the pan.....for that we were billed an additional $36.50 (which we didn't ask for or authorize)! Keep in mind that 6 of these tablets costs $3.48 at home depot...or you can get them for less than $0.10 each on amazon in bulk. The technician was nice and professional, but with a total bill of $225 for 30 minutes of work, it's tough to recommend that......He spent the other 30 minutes looking at our AC unit (which we didn't ask for) and suggested a tune up...but we opted not to. After calling Campbell and Company to discuss the algae tablets charge, the agreed to refund this in the form of a credit to Campbell and Company. I'd rather have the money, but I'll be able to get some filters from them in the future. I still think we paid too much for the service that we received, but at least their customer service was willing to work with us to try and make things better. That's worth 3 stars. read more

Not impressed. I gave them a 1 star because they did fix the problem. My opinion, that they are in the practice of price gouging. I asked for the appointment via their website Sunday night. We exchanged a phone call Monday 8:15am ish. They told me it would be Tuesday and they would call 45 minutes to an hour before they arrived. I am fine with that. Just a question to you so you can make up your own mind; Do you think a Honeywell Vision Pro 8000, compatible with what we had had, should cost $598 and a service call of $169 added to that, is reasonable? Or that an after hours appointment is anything after 4-5pmNot? Or do you think the customer should pay an overage charge when their tech arrived at 4:37pm on the scheduled appointment day, and then being told by Mike the Manager over the area, that if they had finished their work by 2pm or so, they would not have charged me $169 but rather $79? read more

The guy was super friendly, and he was very professional. He answered all questions and made sure I understood exactly how good of a condition my gas furnace was in, in language I could understand. I would HIGHLY recommend Campbell and Company, hands down! read more
