I just checked in but I'm getting a pretty good idea how this is going to be. A colleague of mine…read moreasked me to stay here. It was easier for him to drive in to meet me. So I guess it's easily accessible by car. The Metro (Portes des Lilas) is about 1 km away. Not very touristy neighbourhood, activity very industrial. The hotel is clean with one out of two clerks that was helpful. Modern fresh decor but IT'S TINY. You gotta leave ur room to change your mind. It's sooo small that they can only fit a 21"tv. But it's clean and in Paris. Second day, I had breakfast. 6.5€, not included with room rate. Scrambled eggs from powder, a few bacon strips for our American friends. Croissants, jam, baguette, yogurt, and packaged cheese is what you'll find. There's a bistro not too far with good reviews. U might want to try that.

I'll try to keep this as brief as possible and still get the basics in. The room - tiny -yes, clean - not so much. Climate control - available - yes, functioning - not so much. Pillows - yes - one, tiny - yes, number of guests - 2, did I mention pillows 1 - yes B & B - no Hostel - yes, 10 plus crammed into one room - definitely - maybe they had all of the pillows? When we asked for another pillow, the absolutely useless and exceptionally rude staff, said that they didn't have any more - are you kidding me? Food - yes - edible - barely, overpriced - yes - especially for what you got Cost of the room - charged 25% more that quoted - yes Location - in France - yes, near anything that you want to do - not so much, safe - not so much, plenty of homeless vagrants nearby - certainly With all of the other options available, pick one, any one, just don't ruin even one night of your trip by staying at this horrible hotel.

Coffee machine broken. Food Horrible. Croissants are supposed to taste good in Paris right??!! Beds feel like they have plastic protector under them making you sweat all night without any breathing for your skin. Stairwells looks like something from a horror movie. Dirty. All the games in lobby broken. Scary part of town.

Both were not smooth. During the check out the woman was yelling at a man because she could not accommodate what he wanted. Should always be calm, and double check to see if you can help the situation. She ended up charging is 4 more euros at check out then previously stated. And gave no explimation The rooms: the second star was because it was clean. It passed the bug test and towels were clean. The missing greatness goes to the design of the room. I like that the shower and toilet are in different rooms, but it is a terrible design. The shower looked new but the shower head was cracking off the wall. The plus were the beds. Tiny TV with some channels which is typical for hotels of this.price range. 1 complimentary bottle of water..okay... and public transportation is right across the street. 40 mins to effiel tower So all in all i would not come here again.

I've had the best stay here!! The hotel is clean, hip and cozy. This is a beautiful and elegant…read moreboutique hotel in Belleville. Within this area you can find lots of bars and a few blocks over you'll find some hippy cafes and bakeries with delicious pastries and sandwiches . You can also find a lot of Cantonese and Indian food. This hotel Is well situated, the rooms are small yet stylish and the bed is very comfortable. We stayed in room 704 (I think lol 1st floor) which was well appointed with a mini bar, safe and shower in bathroom. The staff is attentive and very professional yet open and friendly, making you feel just like a friend visiting. Although our flight back home was 8pm, we checked out normal timing (before 12pm). They were still able to hold out luggages while we did our last min shopping. Somba and The lady with the short hair style, (I loved her) I'm mad with myself that I can't remember her name because she was sooooo sweet and very kind, attentive and friendly. This location is not a big tourist area which for me was GREAT because I got to get the real feel of Paris and the diversity that I love. There are metro stations and buses just steps away that take you right into the city in LESS than 15 mins. I myself plan to travel back to Paris feb2017 and will be back at hotel Scarlett. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Paris. #jamaican #newyorkgirls

I am in France for the 1st time and I rolled the dice and booked this hotel in the 19th Arr. Wow!…read moreI love it here. It is a very cool area with lots to offer. It is on a hill! So keep that in mind when you think about walking to this neighborhood with luggage. It's a great workout tho. There are a number of amazing restaurants down the street so take your pic. The patisseries around the corner will satisfy your sweets cravings every morning. A few short blocks from the metro and the 26 bus that will take you to the Gare Nord (high speed rail to England). The room was so nice. The nicest I've had in France on my budget. Everything I needed was supplied. The staff was wonderful. Multilingual and helpful. I can't wait to come back.
