But when lunch is ready, your children don't get what you ordered and the "kid" camp counselors don't get the orders right and skip your children altogether. I am glad I teach my children to speak up. Imagine if your kids did not speak up? I am certain they would sit there without lunch. On one day of pickup, there were no counselors at check out. A group of little girls were asking me for info to check out my own children!?! I saw these girls taking ice out of the ice chest with their bare hands and eating ice over the ice chest. I told my children do NOT drink anything with ice if given. Can you say germs??? Again - no supervision! These are your kids you are handing off and entrusting they be taken care of. I was only recommended this camp by a few of my children's friends, but this is definitely NOT a place I will ever have them return.

I was made aware of this incident by the other teacher working in the room. I have a really good relationship with the other teacher she immediately texted me regarding the other teacher hitting my infant in the head. She expressed she did not feel comfortable going to the front desk to report it because often times the front desk is made aware of situations and they like to sweep it under the rug and hide it because they do not want either licensing to find out or the parents. The front desk was eventually made aware of the situation because as soon as I received the news about my infant being attacked I immediately came to the facility and confronted the teacher. The front desk was very nasty about it. No empathy, no remorse, their only concern was "how did I find out". They eventually found out how I knew and retaliated against the teacher by terminating the teacher who reached out to me about the teacher who hit my child. When my husband and I came to the facility later on that day the owner was there at the front desk. The owner did not acknowledge my husband and did not apologize for what happened at his facility he ignored us. Instead of addressing the incident he had his office manager, Ashton (who was extremely rude and unprofessional) address us about the situation. No accommodations nothing as a matter of fact I was treated poorly once child care licensing confirmed she completed her investigation regarding the incident and that this facility was found guilty and would be cited. I started receiving very passive and nasty emails from the front desk. The director Nikki, comes off as caring and sweet but she likes to hide behind emails she never pulled me aside regarding my child and gave a plan on how they were going to ensure this does not happen again which lets me know this happens often and that was confirmed to me by a teacher. The only thing this facility cares about is whether you pay on time, and protecting their image even if its hiding incidents like this from the public. When I was made aware of it they had no choice but to self report to licensing because I was going to do it. Secondly, when I first enrolled at this facility they raved on the fact they had cameras and that we would be able to access our child at anytime to check in on them. That is a lie! Yes they have cameras but the owner is so money hungry and cheap the camera access is LIMITED. You only can log into the camera 5 times up to 10 minutes per session. So if you login for a couple seconds to view that takes up your full session or if you are viewing the footage and your phone locks that counts as a full session. Thirdly, the poor quality of food they feed these children is an insult. Again, they try to cut cost so much at this daycare to the point they feed the kids crap and not enough. When I discussed this with the Assistant Director Vivan, she gave my husband and I a menu yes from the sounds of the menu the food seems great but they do not follow that menu consistently they do make whatever is the cheapest If you care about your child safety, the quality of food they consume and just having a peace of mind that your child is in good hands I would avoid this facility. As sweet as the front desk appear because I was fooled by the soft voice and the sales pitch.

The director was unhelpful, uncooperative, and lacked communication with me throughout the process of getting this issue addressed. I work full time and having to baby them and constantly follow up with them through every step of the plan I had to create for them was stressful and so unnecessary. Nikki (forgot her last name I think her last name may be young) was assistant director and never once got back to me about any of my concerns. I actually asked the director if had the wrong email for nikki, I couldn't believe she truly blew off 5 or 6 emails I sent her. Turns out she did just that. I had vacillated about moving my son to another daycare and pulled the trigger after this horrendous experience. A couple weeks before he moved to his new school I received word the current director was leaving her position and that the assistant director, nikki would take her place as the director. This completely sealed the deal for me and I was at peace with my decision to move my son. The incompetence and lack of organization she showed will surely trickle down to her staff and I want no part of this daycare with her in charge. There are far to many daycares within a 3 mile radius of kids r kids for them to handle a bullying situation so nonchalantly. We have plenty of daycare options in the McKinney and frisco area and I highly suggest you seek another daycare for your children. This one fell far below my expectations.

Immediately the center director (Crystal Schaffer) and her team made me feel safe to leave my baby with them in their care. My daughter has THRIVED at TLE. She loves her teachers, going so far as to invite them to her birthday party! TLE's staff makes my kid feel safe, loved and cared for. So much so that my child has attachments with not just her classroom facilitators, but other members as well. Clearly showing that they all (from chef to floaters, to front office personnel) work to ensure that their students are loved and cared for. Her vocabulary and cognitive development speak volumes to their choice in curriculum And their dedication to make sure the right teachers are at the right age levels. Our love for this program is so great that my niece is now in attendance and my 4 month old son. Crystal, Erica, Nora, Shelley, Marina, Robin, Cynthia, Jean, Veronica, Julie.... We love that there are updates and photos throughout the day and that our precious kiddos are loved on, cared for, and allowed to play and grow in a place where they are the priority. Along with a paper that they printed for me that had other daycare numbers that they said would fit more for my child's needs. Julie the director also proceeded to tell me that maybe I should look into the public school system and try to get him in their as soon as I can. ( my son is 2 1/2 years old ) I was also asked where do I live which to me that's totally irrelevant to all this. The only thing I got from this experience was they now didn't have availability because my son is non verbal and in line for being tested for Autism. How sad that I had to go to my car and cry that my son was being rejected because of his needs after dealing with this suppose Christian facility. I could not be more grateful to have found this gem. My sweet girl has grown tremendously. I have no doubt that between home and her time spent here she will be more than prepared to begin elementary school. Curriculum was important to me when I found Kiddie Academy, and I can say that Kiddie Academy has a great one. My baby girl is always learning something new. I'm a teacher and I come home and my daughter is discussing condensation and the water cycle with me, among other things. They are both so happy to go to school each day, my daughter literally does not want to miss a beat. I know that my children are loved and I'm so grateful for that. We recently moved out of the area to Aubrey, but my children will continue their preschool educations at Kiddie Academy Castle Hills because it honestly is that great. I send them each day and feel like I don't have to worry.

OUR CHILDREN ATTENDED FOR SEVERAL MONTHS. very high turnover rate: the first month my children attended legacy seven teachers quit. the director who was there at the time my children started also left. a new director started and quit after a little over a month. the owner will tell you they were terminated this is not true. no structure or curriculum: the curriculum coordinator also quit. the teachers are not on a set schedule. teachers show up and leave when they want leaving your children to go in a different classroom with children outside of their age group and no supervision. improper diaper changing: the children are not changed or offered restroom breaks enough. my child got a rash and the potty training journey was set back. i would often pick my toddler up with a poopy diaper. after the toddler teacher on duty leaves the children are moved to a room with older children and the teacher sits down and does not change diapers or engage with the children at all. unreliable: the teachers and staff do not show up on time if they show up at all. if the teacher does not show up which happens often, this will mean your child will be in a different classroom or you will be asked to pick up your child. i was also asked to pick up my child due to issues with the state of the building such as water leaks.

The events also set up for the kids are very creative and fun and my brother really enjoys going to them. In summary, this place and is amazing and I 10/10 recommend!
