I am going to leave this review mainly for informational purposes, regarding the Shady Oaks Area, Camp Site Number 3 Everyone I have dealt with at the camp has been nice and friendly and I have no complaints about that. Reading past reviews seems people have had issues with customer service, but I did not run into that at all and everyone was great! I did not see them bugging the neighbors at all. And they weee up late. FYI- Reviewing Shady Oaks Area, Campsite 3. (1,2,3 & 4) Were not nice But, 5,6,7 etc. are nice. Pro: Lots of shade for sure!! CONS: 1. Super Dusty, makes the inside of your tent disgusting & full of silt 2. No Fire ring 3. Area on a slant, no flat surface area designated for tents & it's all rock and dirt 4. Hard to tell what area is yours 5. Old Bathrooms NEED better ventilation in them they are so disgusting and muggy you can't get dry. (They have new bath houses that are better but further away from Shady Oaks area) They do have nice cold water though and amazing water pressure that will rip your new sun burned skin off! Now I know why this spot was actually available. It truly sucked, sorry to say but that was my experience.... I should have not waited so long to make reservations. Like always there's good spots and bad spots. The river access is great. Plenty of spots to sit and soak, but it's no Garner State Park; There are some deep areas, water seemed warmer than usual. But, ya know no one controls that lol. So back to camping: I was just disappointed since you have to pay so much for the area, you get nickeled and dimed... 10 dollars each additional tent per day, 5 dollars extra per person etc etc... for $536 dollars for camping I expected nicer I guess.... Maybe it was my expectations that disappointed me. Camp Riverview is very RV friendly though, lots of great activities for children and the night sky was amazing. Will I return as a tent camper, NO. Way too expensive, to be crammed between the neighbors and and sleep on dust.... Although the riverfront spots seemed better and nicer, maybe I would have been happier there. read more

My group of friends and I had a solid experience here. All of us booked deluxe cabins which were equipped with AC/heater, electric stove top, microwave, sink, and fridge. The bathroom was clean and there were no issues with hot water for the showers. We enjoyed walking over to the river in the morning. We were just a 5-10 min drive from Garner State Park. The campgrounds weren't crowded and there weren't any loud or obnoxious guests. Bring your own hand towels, linens, and hand soap. read more

This is our 2nd year staying here and we really liked it. Pros: Excellent price Access to river Full hookups for RV's. They also have cabins, but we didn't stay in them. They also allow tents. Multiple bathrooms on site and they were always really clean and had showers with hot water. You could tell that they were cleaned multiple times throughout the day because it was always clean and smelled really clean. They don't require one week bookings so this is the perfect place if you wanted to just stay 3-4 days. This year they added metal coverings at many of the RV spots. They have a playground. The store on site has pretty much anything you need. The site is taken care of and you'll see workers on golf carts driving around to help. Family friendly Pet friendly Cons: I really don't have much to say here. We will continue to book at this location. Our friends go with us but stay at a different location and I like their view better because Garner is right there, but that location requires a minimum of one week bookings. The only thing that was a little annoying was the people next to us had 2 yapping dogs that barked repeatedly, but we couldn't hear it once we went into our RV with the air condition running. An added bonus would be if they would maybe come around once a day in the golf carts to collect any bags of trash that we have. They do have dumpsters on site for trash collection. read more

We enjoyed our stay, we had a 30' Prowler bumper pull RV. The RV spots are nice but be sure to make reservations way ahead like 4 months or more. Esp in July Aug ! We fell into a spot by chance which when we got there saw why, it was on a deep incline tough spot to back into due to the incline not to mention set RV up on. But we managed, the spot is #9 and 10 is a bit better, and wifi in these two spots are zilch. Other Than those two the rest are modestly level. On and don't forget your "Honey Wagon " u gotta have it !!!!!! Another lesson learned. We borrowed one from the office luckily. They are pet friendly we took our 4 month old GSD. Just clean up after them and don't let them un loose and it's all good. We went around Jun was nice river had plenty of flow not over crowded even tho park was full. We took our fire pit and plenty of wood. Staff was friendly and neighbors were nice spot #10. We would hit the river at 11:00 coolers and beer with some lunch and be back at RV round 7, it was a little 3 min walk. Oh n take your lil wagon for all your day tubing stuff and cooler. Over all we will come here again and only reason for 3 star and not 5 was the lack of info on the spot #9 and bad wifi in that spot. There has been so many updates! Great place, very clean, and quiet. Beautiful river access.

We have stayed here several times over the last couple years, and I have delivered my RV here a few times when i was renting it. this last will trip will be just that, our last! There are a few employees that ruin what could be a great place to camp. Having been here several times, i have always driven to to the right of the "Guard Shack" as it stands in the middle of the road, and is customary to stay to the right 99.99% of everyplace you go. While they caught me early enough to send me to the left, which is what they now require was no big deal for me. The problem lies in the next day when our friends show up for their first visit to what we have told is the best place on earth. They were not caught by the guard lady in time, but when she did stop them at the shack, she proceeded to yell and scorn them for their actions of staying to right. I witnessed a couple other times, her making people back up their 40ft tow-able RVs to go back to the left. There is no problem going right i assure you, I have done it every other time at this campground. When at this campsite, you just feel harassed at every encounter with a few select employees. I feel the worst for the people who rent their golf carts. They will harass and find every excuse to blame you for doing something wrong with it. The last thing I will say is I read down in the reviews and saw where one instance two young ladies were tubing from another spot, and tried to get out here as they were tired, hungry and thirsty and had no way to call their parents. Camp Riverview proceeded to not be of any help to these people, but instead scorned them, and then charged them $25 cash each to exit or they were going to call the police. This is something i cannot stand and was completely appalled that this is a normal practice from this campsite. We will be taking our business down river as there are many more friendly places to vacation on the Frio. I recommend trying Frio Country Resort. We stayed there one spring break, and they were great and friendly. read more

Stayed in a cabin for a weekend getaway, camp riverview was easy to find. Did an early check in and the staff had everything ready when we arrived. Staff was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. Quiet hours are from 10:30pm -8:00am. At night it was very peaceful. The cabin was clean and spacious for two people. However, the restroom shower could have been a bit cleaner. Kitchen had a stove but no oven. Utensils and dishes were provided even though we had our own. The AC in the cabin stayed cool, but the bed was very uncomfortable. Linens are not provided so make sure to bring your own. The campsite is very close to the river and about a 5- 8 minute drive to Mager's Crossing if you'd like another location. Overall, Camp Riverview is a nice spot for a family getaway. read more

Perfect spot on the river. You can stay within the camp & float for about 45 minutes. Perfect for not having to drop off somewhere on the River where you can't park. We did also drop at the bridge up 350 and did the 3 hour float that ended at Riverview, which was also fun. I wish we could've gotten a full sewer hookup but all of the spots were taken when we booked & we couldn't use the restrooms on site until the day we left because they were closed because of the virus. I wish there were more restrooms & that they were bigger. With that being said, better some than none. We also saw some other spots that we'd love to try to get next time with covered areas on the river. The little store there actually had most of what we could need since the closest store was around 15 minutes away. We will definitely be coming back! Loved the campgrounds themselves. read more

We were harassed the entire 4 days we stayed at Camp Riverview this past weekend. The staff were sneaking around the cabin sites and/or riding up in golf carts sitting with there lights off staring at you on your porch. All of this was caught on video camera. A person that was part of the staff called security on us for absolutely no reason. To top it off one security guard at camp came back when his shift was over and apologized for his actions. He told us he owned a restaurant in Leakey and invited us to come whenever we wanted and he would cover our meal cost. People on the water had their own share of it too. Camp Riverview DOES NOT own the water but the guard kept telling us he did. We will not be going back to this place ever again. The manager, Tina and Brian need to go find a real job and quit sucking off the in-laws because they are going to run the whole business into the ground. We have stayed there for 4 years in a row now with our 8 cabins, which totaled $6800. We will now be taking our business elsewhere. And, remind you this was on 4th of July weekend on a Saturday night. We came to Camp Riverview to relax and this was absolutely not possible with the horrible staff. We shut everything down at 10pm just like the "camp site/cabin service agreement" stated and we still got harassed for sitting outside nightly. If you want to go for a weekend and have a nice relaxing time do NOT go to Camp Riverview. read more

Worst stay ever. If you have kids or want to listen to music this is not the place for you. Also, park staff patrols constantly to find issues and ladies at front office must get a bonus for being unfriendly. Great if you want a retirement home camping stay or love staying in your RV/cabin. I'm shocked they don't play camp rules over the intercom 24x7 as we were told 100x 5mph - which we get. We have kids and that's important. Signs everywhere that say this too and they tell you every time when you enter - so enough already. Our site was clean but not mowed or weeded. We came in on a Thursday and on Friday when peeps started to roll in the zero turn mower came and visited each site on both sides of us throwing up rocks and stuff all over our vehicles and campsite. I was sitting there praying a stray rock did not hit our dog, RV or truck. Also every time I turned around someone working was walking around my campsite looking around. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Worst of the bad: We had a fun volleyball game going with about 10 families staying at the park. It was around 7:30 PM and the kids were told they were being too loud even though it was not dark or 10:30 quiet time. We brought the noise level down but manager came and created havoc and proceeded to poke our 14 year old guest in the chest multiple times telling her she can't use her phone to record the situation. We called the police as that was highly inappropriate. Long story short we obey rules but you need to also and quite uncalled for. Maybe if you don't like noise the people who manage the park should not live on site. This could be a great place but don't need constant oversight. Sad too since place was less than 50% occupied and can see why. Undoubtedly won't go back as so many better option on the Frio. read more

We stayed there from Friday to Sunday. We had two cabins. The cabins did the job and everything was fine within the cabins. Very good price for the set up we had. Only problem was the staff wasn't helpful on anything. We called Thursday to ask about shuttles but no one picked up. Friday when we got there for check in..... they told us they don't have shuttles because it's too early in the season. Couldn't suggest much.... except to park and then float to where we parked. Thankfully we found a place that could help us with the shuttles. For check out no one was in the office... we called and someone finally told us that no one is ever there on Sundays in the office.... We really enjoyed the cabins. Just no one ever could help us or answer our questions.... and they just casually didn't care. read more

Upon arrival we were greeted at the gate to be direct where to go. We had never been there and didn't know where to go and the man didn't have any paperwork to tell us. The girls at the front desk were nice but not in much of a hurry. We were loud one night and had music on after 10:30 quiet time. We were harassed by the security guy that night. He cussed us out! And snuck up on us through the bushes while we were swimming in the river. He then lied to the owner 2 days later and said my husband and him had a bad encounter and they were going to kick us out. After talking with them, we found out they were mad because my husband posted on their facebook that they had crappy employees. They don't have great service. They are not very friendly at all. We will not be back and the group of 10 RV's the go every year are not returning either. Hopefully they can find a new security guy who knows how to politely talk to people and not be weird and creep on people. We also watched another employee record a group of people that were hanging out in the river in front of their camp. Campsites and bathrooms were clean though! I got this booking from a friend who ended up not being able to use it. The Oaks RV site in relation to the Frio was fabulous. It was a large slot with mature shaded trees, and fellow occupants were respectful and friendly. The cost of the reservation seemed reasonable, but I've never made one of that kind before and didn't shop for it myself. The food truck pork tacos were delicious but their cost as well as that of ice and most anything else in the shop on site was crazy high (I guess the convenience fee charged as any other store locations are a ways away). The check-in process was a disaster though I know my friend called multiple times to update the store on what was occurring. I was never told there had to be a card on file or that it was my friend's/no one checked if it had been updated. The original reservation had been input incorrectly and the charge for 4 adults was more, but it took all week for someone to adequately explain the difference in what they showed to be the occupants and price for the original reservation versus ours. They charged my friend's card before calling me back to explain what it was and or to anyone that it was going to be sent through. We left a day early and they offered a whole $10 off the cost of the stay, but likely because of the experience we had a couple days after arriving. The electrical box on our site had faulty wiring and it destroyed the appropriate amp RV plug we had plugged into it. It was a miracle it didn't catch on fire. It took three hours and two phone calls for anyone to even come assess the situation. Someone who wasn't even an employee of the camp but apparently friends with the staff had to come and fix it. No offer of help was made to help fix our plug in any fashion, even to comp the cost, only a suggestion of a place nearby that may be able to do it/have the supplies. The aforementioned non-employee came by to check we'd been able to get things back up and running, but the actual staff never did. No apology was made for anything, and there was certainly no compensation of any kind offered for our trouble. I'll personally think long and hard before booking another trip here. read more

My family and I have gone to camp river view multiple times in the past never have had a problem , river and restrooms were all in walking distance. This past couple days was nothing but problems , not from the our next door neighbors but constantly ONLY from the staff . They were very rude constantly and did nothing but complained about us for " not using our inside voices " or "radio was to loud" . We lowered our radio with no problem but after the first time it was a constant issue and problem , when it wasn't even no where near loud or a issue to our neighbors only the staff once again . Quite time" starts at 10:30 by 10:31 the staff was already coming to confront us how we need to turn off our radio and lower our voices . They would park behind a tree close by to our camp site and just sit and watch us waiting for us to even talk or laugh to confront us . Next morning around 10am ish radio was on and they were once again complaining . Friday around 7am we were all rudely awakened by 2 of the staff on their golf cart , they continued to complain how we didn't " follow rules " . They asked my family of 13 and I to pack all our things and leave within a hour . We were not refunded no type of money when we had additionally already paid for the next 4 days . We were even on a WAITING LIST for a golf cart and they charged the persons card that was on file when we had already told the staff we were going to pay in cash when we received the golf cart . Also our neighbors next to us got " kicked out " as well because they have a pit bull dog , when not once did he even bark or run off . Also showers / restrooms were very dirty , most of the toilets didn't even flush or was always out of toilet paper . Definitely will not recommend to camp to anyone with big families . read more

Camp Riverview is awesome! The owners/management are great and there are many options for spending time there. You can rent cabins, take your RV or camp next the river. They have 1/2 a mile of riverfront property which is perfect for swimming, relaxing, stand up paddle boarding and kayaking. They offer kayaking and stand up paddle boarding trips or private lessons with advanced reservations. Highly recommended! read more

Very in unreasonable staff. We stayed last year and arrived at 1pm and tried to check in 1 hour early to our camp spot where others in our group were near. Our spot was not in use and was sitting empty but the camp owner refused to let us come in early. This is no kind of hospitality that I am accustomed to. read more

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Like the others have mentioned before - the only thing going for them is their property, but the staff has no customer service experience and they are extremely rude. In addition to this, their amenities are not well kept. The showers and restrooms have mold and were dirty upon arrival. They did not replenish toilet paper in the women's restroom, nor have they cleaned or disinfected the areas in the bathroom and shower. You would think with the pandemic they would try to be more sanitary. They also do not have fire pits at every site and you have to rent one for $5 a night if you want a fire. In my opinion, if I'm spending $55/night the fire ring should be included. There were fire ants at our camp site and when I asked them to help us by putting some ant killer on there they did not even come out to do so. If you want to enjoy the frio river I would not stay here. There are so many other places to stay at besides this one. Do yourself a favor and just skip this place. For the price you pay, this is definitely a NO. We will not be back. read more

I didn't stay here, but I had a run in with management, and like the other reviews, they are extremely rude. My daughter and her two friends were tubing and decided to get out at this location. In fairness, they were wrong for doing so, as there is a sign that says private property. They asked me to pick them up. I drove to the security point and the man with the tobacco stained beard told me that I could not drive down there, as it's private property. Fair enough. I drive back to the road and call them to tell them to walk to me, as I can't drive down there. They were picked up by a nice young gentleman in a golf cart who saw them struggling. The older guy in another golf cart was extremely rude to them, and then to me. I apologized that they got out at this location but he kept going on and on about how they're trespassing and what we're doing is illegal. I get the kids in the truck and go to drive away and some young kid starts taking pictures of us and the truck. I get out to ask if there's a problem and that's when the manager... the "Karen of Concan" started up. (I don't know her name, but can only assume it's Karen based off her behavior). She informed me she was going to call the police because 3 kids walked across their property. "Karen" was quite belligerent with me and telling me I'm a bad parent for letting a 16,17, and 18 year old tube and get out at this location. I apologized and told her it wouldn't happen again. Her response: "No.. it won't happen once!" I asked her what she wanted me to do and she said she wanted me to put the kids back in the river and make them tube another 6-8 hours to the next public pick up point. I told her that's not going to happen, so come up with something else (she had me blocked in with her golf cart, so I couldn't leave). After a lot of back and forth, she finally told me there's a fine for them coming on the property, which I said I'd be glad to pay. After all, I recognize rules are rules and the kids should have seen the sign and not gotten out at this spot. The fine was cash only (of course) so I said I had to get cash. She told me I had to leave the kids with her. I informed her that wasn't going to happen based off of her behavior and the other staff being rude. Long story short... I took the kids back to where we stayed, got the cash, and paid the nice lady working in the store. She was apologetic and said she'd discuss "Karen's" behavior with her. All of this could have been avoided if they just said "Your kids got out here, there's a fine, don't let it happen again!" But they attacked me as a parent and were completely rude to me and the 3 kids! It was our first time to the Frio and they didn't know any better. But like I said, the sign is there, they shouldn't have gotten out, so I was ok paying the fine. I'd never stay here and based off of the other reviews, "Karen" and her staff ruin a lot of people's visits. If you want a GREAT place to stay with owners who actually care about their guests and go above and beyond to make sure they have a great visit, stay at the River Rock Cabins... less than a half mile down the road. read more

If you have your own RV, you might enjoy this campsite. We however, rented a cabin and that is what I am reviewing. The "cabins" are in very rough/primitive shape. *Note pictures* The shower drain had a cover that wasn't attached and wouldn't sit level on the drain. The shower leaked so bad that you stepped into a puddle every time you got out. They provided linens for the beds, but when you arrive, beds are un-made. Towels are folded and laying on the bathroom floor.The ac is old and condensation drips on the floor. It was able to cool the cabin though. The floors were filthy upon arrival and the beds were stained. We also learned that there is high amounts of theft. Especially YETI coolers. We would have preferred to have known this info ahead of time instead of finding out from other campers that this is an ongoing issue at this site. For the amount of money they charge per nite, rent an RV or go elsewhere. read more

The Frio river was beautiful down at the very end of the campground far away from the actual campsites and cabins. Thankfully we happened to notice trucks down at that end of the road and went to investigate. The girls at check-in certainly didn't give us any clues about where to go or what to see. For campsites and RVs this spot might be ok. Didn't go check the community bathrooms. The cabins however are way, way, way overpriced for the crumby cabins. Plywood walls. Stained beds. Slanted floors in bathroom so water ponds in showers. You make the beds. You take out the trash and you leave linens in a pile on the floor when you leave or they charge a cleaning fee. For the price they charge could have stayed at a downtown Hyatt on the riverwalk in San Antonio. Crazy prices for such a crumby place. read more

We camped Saturday through Tuesday and enjoyed our stay in our pop up camper. The entire place was clean and family friendly. The staff was kind and helpful. Our dogs liked the dog park. They have staff that patrol on golf carts making sure the grounds stay litter free and safe. Will definitely come back next summer! read more

Poorly organized. Poor customer service. They put us in an RV spot and then tried to make us pack up and move (after already staying one night) into a smaller crowded inadequate spot because they said that they made a mistake a gave us someone else's spot. Very shady. After we were treated like our stay and satisfaction didn't matter in comparison to whomever had arrived we decided to leave. The campground was unimpressive anyway. We lost time on our vacation traveling to another spot, but the other place we went to was definitely an upgrade in comparison to this place. Coming here isn't worth it. read more

Camp Riverview has very nice access to the river and our kids love it. I've been going to Camp Riverview since the 80's but this is the first time we've opted for the two bedroom cabin. It was very pleasant, clean and had a nice layout. The cabins have a futon so it fit 6 people (4 adults + 2 kids) comfortably. New owners Melissa & family are really great! I DO NOT RECOMMEND if you want to enjoy your evening outside. This is our 3rd yr in a row staying here in their cabins. This year we rented 2 cabins so we could bring our 3 adult kids and their significant others. EVERY (3) night security guards would sneak up to our picnic table while we were talking and tell us we're too loud. WHAT?? we're just talking here. Even when fire works we're going off all around the property for the 4th of July, we were told we couldn't talk outside. Really??! This was never the experience in previous years. I was so disappointed in how they treated us after spending $1800 on the 2 cabins. The cabin we stayed in was newer than our kids and quite nice. Theirs was a horrible experience. In the day the indoor temp is 80 as the cabins are so old and lots of drafts around the doors and windows but in the low 60s at night freezing u out. It was so bad my pregnant daughter in law who was nearly having a heat stroke from walking 70% of the river had to come into our cabin just to cool off. $200 a night and a 4 night min this weekend in there cabins is ridiculously priced. It's just ridiculous the way they treat guests who've paid thousands for their families to rent from them. There are way too many places to stay to settle for this type of harassment on a holiday weekend. If you want to be able to be outside after 10:30 pm and have a conversation with your friends and family, this is not the place for you. Find anywhere else you can in the area! It's a big river and there are definitely better friendlier places! Their Facebook page says music off by 11pm they say 10:30 witch is fine but at 9 one of the employees parked a golf cart facing our camp with a light bar turn on and just sat there until 9:45 then said we had to turn off the music....what?!! This place is absolutely horrible to people. My family floated down the Frio River for the first time yesterday. We had our 2 kids with us. Since we had never floated this river we did not know how far we had gone or where to exit. We saw a truck on a property and got out to ask them where we were and how much further we had to go to get out. The family in the truck were very kind and offered to take my husband to the truck so he could come get us, as it would be dark soon. While waiting with my 2 kids and brother in law a guy on a golf cart came by and told us we were tresspassing and we needed to leave immediately or he would call the Sherrific. Again we were lost with 2 KIDS. He did not care and would not help us. We had no way to contact my husband to let him know that this JERK was making us leave. Luckily the wife that was trying to help us was able to call her husband and get him to tell my husband that we were very rudley forced to leave and continue down the river. The Inhumane JERK then proceeded to follow us on his little golf cart the whole way down the river to the end of the property. This campground is disgusting and treats people horribly. I would have given no stars, but you have to select atleast 1 star to post. read more

We visited this place over spring break this year. It was their first time to open for camping that early. We had a great great great time. River front site and very friendly staff. aside from the silly wrist bands they made the whole family wear, everything was super! we'll be back to this place for sure. read more

What a disappointment. My family went to Camp Riverview with a large group and we were having a wonderful family weekend, until the owner Melissa Cummings ruined it for everyone. Our group was in a section of sites that were paid for through Monday. On Sunday at 12:40 as we were on our way to the river (yes, you have to drive to get to the river...the spots are quite far), the owners stopped our vehicle. She said that our tag indicated that we had to be out Sunday by noon. I informed her that we had our campsite until Monday. She called to the office and they confirmed that we have our site until Monday. She asked me to go to the office to get a new tag. I told her that I would go. I had my teenage son and my two small dogs with me, so we continued the 50 yards left to the river so that I could leave them off and get my husband. He had checked us into the site, so I knew it would be best for him to go take care of the mix-up. As I was getting out of my truck, the owner came speeding up behind me, slammed on the brakes, jumped out of the car, slammed the door and immediately started screaming at me, "I told you to go to the office right now!" I told her that we are going to the office - I wanted to get my husband to take care of it. She continued to scream uncontrollably telling me that if I had told her that I needed to have a conversation with my husband first that I had to let her know that. She said that I was breaking the rules. By this time my husband and friend heard the encounter and came to see what was wrong. My husband engaged in conversation with her husband, since he seemed calm. She continued to yell, saying that we are breaking the rules and refusing to go to the office. He calmly held his hand up and said, "I would like to speak to him". She screamed at him that he had put his finger in her face and she was going to call the police! Her husband recognized that she was being unreasonable and asked her to go to the truck. She complied, but returned after only a few seconds. She pushed her husband back telling him that he had to back her up on this. She continued with her barrage of words, waving her finger at me and asked me "when you ask your kids to do something right now, do you expect them to do something else first?" Was she really serious? She just admitted that she was talking to us like children. The staff here was nice, they were even apologetic over the owners' actions, apparently this is nothing new to them. I have owned several businesses and I would never think to treat a customer in this way. This owner needs to learn to treat people with respect. We are all adults. I am a teacher at a Christian school - I had every intention of going right back up to the office. Her actions were completely uncalled for and it was all over a mis-communication and the staff giving us the wrong color tag when we originally checked in. On our way home I read the reviews on various sites - many other people have experienced her wrath and she has a reputation of being like a prison guard....what a shame. I will pray for her to find peace with herself - you must love yourself before you can show others love and respect. read more

Great place!!!! Love the water. We always have a good time. We also like it when management watches out for us when people get a little out of hand. They are very respectful of all the campers as long as the campers are respectful to other people. Going back this week end......can't wait! read more

Great new owners! Very accomadating, reasonably priced, beautiful campground, nice swimming holes and pretty landscape. We stayed in a 2 bedroom cabin which was very roomy and clean. The new owners/staff were very friendly and helpful. The on site store was also very convenient with reasonable prices as well. read more

Stayed here last summer for a few days and plan to stay this summer for a whole week. The river access is great! The only thing I would change is providing a shuttle for guests that want to go up the road to float back to the camp site (the walk up the hill is kind of hard with heavy coolers). Great place, I can't wait to go back this summer!! read more

Camp site it's self was good. There were power boxes for each site, however we ran two cords and the breaker kept flipping. The night time staff was very rude. They have rules which I can understand, but this is a vacation spot and the rules are a little over the top. On our last night there out of 3 we were told to turn our music off at 9pm. Rule is no music after 10:30. So we couldn't even have a last good night there. Was told it was do the the owners saying they heard our music and it bothered them. But from our site we could hear music coming from across the park and I asked why that wasn't a problem and the response was that's not my area so he would do nothing about it. If it was for better staff and a little easier on the lights out times (jail hours. Lol) it really wouldn't be that bad. read more

Amazing river access, very clean bath houses and amazingly friendly staff. First year camping here and we will be back
