It's a great location - far enough off the beaten path to get away from the noise of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge, but an easy drive into the park and area attractions. Our view of the mountains and the pond was spectacular and the pergola at our site came in quite handy during the quick rain showers that inevitably came through. The campground was so quiet - it was almost as if we were the only people there, but everyone we met was incredibly kind. Definitely the best place to stay in the area!

They delivered fire wood to campsite. There is a nice river a few hundred feet from your camp site. Pretty fast Wi-Fi and it's pretty close to run back to Marysville from camp site. Good road back towards Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg from here. Lots of good restaurants on this side of mountain, without having to deal with the traffic on other side of mountain. Would come back here anytime. They will store your camper for $70 a month in back of site & bring to your rented site on next visit. You couldn't pull a camper back & forth under $70. Our group's original plan was to bring a tent to stay in, but we could not for the life of us find a place to set up camp around Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg. I had never heard of cabin camping, but it seemed like the next best alternative. Enter Riveredge RV Park. The location on the main strip of Pigeon Forge but at the entrance to the highway to Gatlinburg made travel for us extremely easy. Upon check-in, we were greeted at the main desk and paid our remainder, and then given a map to our cabin as well as a key and a TV guide. Nice. The Cabin is well maintained with a full bed, and one set of bunk beds (this means the cabin can at most accomodate 4, but it's a tight fit). It's got a mini fridge, an AC unit (yaaaasss!), a SMALL TV, and that's about it. The beds are comfy enough, but bring your own linens. I chose a unit close to one of the bath houses, which was smart, because a hot shower was only a minute walk away. SPEAKING OF WHICH. The bathhouse. Oh my goodness, this thing is LUXURY! We're talking spa environment here, people, with frosted glass doors, individual shower stalls, the ethereal sounds of Gaither Vocal Band playing overhead, and chandeliers. We were all blown away by the quality of the bathhouses. I was a dummie and forgot several things for the trip, but no worries! The main desk area has everything you could possibly need, whether you're staying in an RV or a cabin. And it's CHEAP! They even had a few snacks. I'd be lying if I told you I didn't pick up a strawberry shortcake popsicle while I was there. Anyways, for the price, location, amenities, quality, and customer service, I would so, so happily stay at Riveredge next time I come to Pigeon Forge!

None the less we'd stay again given these lessons learned.

I almost don't want to write this review so I can keep this place to myself... but that would be…read morewrong, lol. Greenbrier Campground is fantastic in so many ways and absolutely deserves to be enjoyed by everyone. We rented the deluxe cabin that sleeps 4, which has a wraparound porch overlooking the river, plus a fire pit and grill. There are chairs everywhere--two on the side porch, two with a table on the front porch for morning coffee with a view, and five Adirondacks around the fire pit. The cabin itself is newly built and really sturdy, more like a tiny home. Inside you'll find a couch, a dining table with bench seating, and a kitchen with a 2-stool peninsula. The kitchen is fully stocked: plates, cups, bowls, silverware, pots and pans, can opener, toaster--you name it. A skinny staircase leads up to the loft, which is about 36" at the highest point before the beams. It has an outlet, light switch, windows on each side, and two firm twin foam mattresses. Surprisingly comfy--and super fun for kids. Our 3-year-old loved it. The bathroom was spotless with great storage between the counter and medicine cabinet, and the shower was a good size. The master bedroom has a Fire TV, tons of shelving, and plenty of outlets. As for the amenities: you get river access, a game room, and a playground. It's also very dog-friendly, with poop stations and a dog run, which we appreciated. What really stands out? * Service: The staff are incredible and make you feel right at home. * Upkeep: They genuinely care about their property. Everything inside and out is immaculate, and they enforce the 5mph and noise rules so everyone stays safe and comfortable. * Pricing: Super fair--especially if you have dogs! Downsides (and I really had to reach): * Bed: I'm pretty sure the master bed is a full, not a queen. I brought flat sheets, but it definitely felt smaller than a queen. * Shower curtain: It's adorable, but it tends to cling to you while you're showering. * Pocket doors: You need to slide the door all the way and hold it while locking until it catches. They're just a little loud, especially with a toddler sleeping in the loft since sound travels. I've honestly never stayed anywhere so clean and welcoming. Next time we'll probably book the deluxe cabin that sleeps 6, and we can't wait to come back. They anticipate everything you might need and truly care about you having an enjoyable stay. I can't recommend Greenbrier Campground enough!

This is a pretty cut and dry campground. They do have tent sites, but this is more of an RV/Camper…read moretype spot. Its a simple oval layout. bathrooms located in the middle area. They also have a small pool, sand volleyball and a playground for the kids. The bathrooms are pretty nice actually, and showers are decent too. The sites are pretty much right up on each other, and not all of them have fire rings. We saw where there possibly was one on our site next to the road, but no ring. But if you're just sleeping here, then it's perfect for you. It was pretty quiet, minus the traffic noise. So again, a plus. They do have a small store on site for firewood and the like. The perk here is "continental breakfast" every morning. Or rather a voucher good at the Smokey Mountain Pancake house down the street. You get a choice of 4 different items. Mainly a 3 pancake breakfast, French toast, or biscuits and gravy. I wish they had a smaller more simple sausage and egg or omelet option, but they do have a percentage off if you don't want one of the prechosen combos. The location is nice, just on the other side of the river from the parkway, and at the end of the strip before you head into Gatlinburg, so nothing flanks you on 2 sides really. And if you take the back road to get here less traffic! It's also super simple to get to Dollywood as well. So quiet not a whole lot of bells and whistles simple place to park and rest your head if that's what you're looking for. And decently priced under $50 with hookups.
